I am a somewhat new player but I have to say seeing this kind of a response from a community manager does not really encourage me to put more money into modules. You see, I used to play a lot of Single Player Flight Sims. A lot. I daresay DCS is my first venture in flying Multiplayer - and I got kinda hooked. Partially it was due to a lack of content, first and foremost it was due to the helpful community who came with suggestions, flew missions and designed scenarios where I could jump in for a fun fight. Do please take these considerations seriously, especially when you do not even have to design the actual missions or dynamic experiences - just make sure I can change plane without crashing and that my mates are still there after 30 minutes flying to a waypoint.

If the map is moved to Caucasus, sign me up for a Viggen slot.

One would think Eagle Dynamics would find a solution that did not force server hosters to such a solution. You should imho be able to run a server without having any copies of the theaters.

Swedish Fighter Tactics was not about escorting their strike packages. The main role of fighters was Air Supremacy and Interception. The attack aircraft either used stand-off tactics (RB 75, BK 90, RB 04E, RBS 15F) or hit and run tactics (M/71, ARAK) flying low and fast to be effective. It is said that it was expected for Sweden to lose its Air Force fairly soon if the cold war went hot because otherwise the Army would be out of a job. I would love JA 37 and J 35 as AI Fighters in the game though; more Swedish Birds !

To me, it seems that Eagle Dynamics did not anticipate the popularity the game would have in multiplayer. That however needs to be corrected. I am a new player having just got in through the Summer Sale but what hooked me was the multiplayer possibilities. I am sad to see that they are not in a stable state and supports Jers in wanting it to have improved stability.
