Multiple cockpit instruments missing details
Calabrone replied to Lukas2438's topic in Bugs and Problems
I had a total problem. The cockpit was a single texture, without the correct view of the instruments so I put the original back on. The installation was, of the two original replacement files, by manual without any possibility of error.Hi. -

Experience hovering with Brunner (or other) FFB stick?

Where did you find it? Take care. -

I tried cable ties but it was not a good idea, the stick was completely ungovernable. MAXsenna your nickname reminds me of the great Ayrton Senna. Have you by chance tried the UH-60L? If so, tell me how it behaves because I find it really unmanageable. Thank you. -

Point me to where and I'll look at them just to get to know them. Thank you MAXsenna. A proverb says: "He who leaves the old road for the new, often does not find himself well! ". Then maybe you'll be happy if you take it. Bye. -

Right now I can't afford to change my equipment. Hi. -

I use Thrustmatser's T16000M (TWCS and TWFS), I don't use any curvature on the axes (pitch and roll), collective and pedals, so the whole system is very responsive. I find it smooth because it allows me to use minimal movements to do hovering and you definitely have to work with sticks, collectives and pedals. You will never be able to have the precision you have in real life because the controls of a real Huey are different and there is definitely a slight inaccuracy but you can overcome it with practice and knowledge of your controls.I practice hovering every day: this is all you can do to improve and get to know your stick. Bye. -

I fly with force trim off and hovering is more complicated, but I like it that way. -

Glad you got it resolved, but the time to shop is tough. -

Gianky I can't understand how they have all these problems. Since the A4E came out I have always installed all the updates and never had any problems. -

At this point I can't find where the problem is. Try asking the authors of the module. I'm sorry I couldn't help you. -

Have you checked in the Windows properties to see if the peripheral devices are working properly? (I assume you followed the installation instructions to the letter). I have a T16000M, TWCS and TWS pedalboard and everything works fine. -

Do you have the latest updated version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable ? I don't know what else to tell you. -

It's all right. Gianky. Thank RealA4EPilot! -
Jomonto Glad you're a Huey enthusiast and welcome to those who aren't afraid to practice every single day, all the time. Hi.

Doggie I'm doing the same things you did and I'm not using force trim anymore and like magic it's been easier to do hovering, faster landings and other crazy stuff. I'm finally starting to have some fun. Hi.

Just thank you for creating this wonderful module. Wet feet! -
My pedals would only be fine if the spring was less stiff, because I have a hard time holding it in place and it has too much hard and fast return. So I end up getting tired in my legs.
-
I have tried with my T16000M but it becomes ungovernable. I'm thinking of looking for a less stiff pedal spring, but time is a bastard.
-
I don't use Force Trim anymore and I feel great, much better than when I used it.

Fly solo and keep the huey straight on target: switch to the co-pilot's seat and use the two gatlings and you'll quickly learn how it works. Ah when you're in the co-pilot's seat or any of the two gunners, the autopilot kicks in, so you can have fun using the M60s and the co-pilot's guns.

At first glance if you want more realism disable Automatic Catapult Power Mode, the others I think are personal taste. Regarding the ECM panel I would keep it because, all in all, it is useful. Theoretically it should disturb the emissions of search radars and I tried it in a mission that I had done and it seemed to work pretty well and also depends on the ability of the SAM stations that are set by the mission creator. -
