I've just spent my entire day reading both manuals... And OMG! I've now got a case of serious butterflies(BS'S) i my gut... Can't wait anymore... These manuals have given me a new understanding of the complexity of this sim, and I am truly amazed!!! This will be a product worthy of worship.... BTW: CAUTION! Backward taxi and turns on one wheel are not advised. :megalol:

I thought that the abris and INS was completley seperated, and why would a presice and reliable system recieve info from a not-so-precise-old-analoge system?

Hello! I'm I new guy to register to these forums, but I have been following the discussions since LOMAC. And now I hunger for BS as everyone else. In the essence of that, I would like to bring up something that was discussed at Lockonfiles somwhere back in time, about adding light-cones to vehicles, similar to the landing lights. I remember someone stating that this would be fairly simple to accomplish, but still un-moddable in the LO engine. But now, in the arrival of the new DCS engine, is someone capable to make an educated guess as to weather this now will be possible? Or maybe I should add this as a suggestion for what to add in BS. (I realise it might be getting a little late for such suggestions now...) I also realise I could be proven wrong in this beeing a simple task, it was never my own words... I bring this up despite of me beeing one of the "Hard-core" simmers, where realism is the main element of the experience, but I still welcome any enhancements to atmosphere as a big "bonus". Imagine returning from a sucsessfull mission at dusk, and as you approach your base, you can see the lights moving around down there, knowing they can still travel safely, thanks to your efforts of the day:D... This might be a stupid thing since the black shark will be more of a black tuna at night anyway (as I understand), thus night missions becomes a rarity, but still...
