Well you have a perfect alpha layer there, why not use that? and modifying the afterburner isent a big problem. My biggest Request is an Paintkit with British Lettering! not Chinese.

Thank you guys, much appreciated:). Just to show you some more of this mod. On the Autumn Textures you can see the leaves from the trees on the ground giving it a more realistic effect. Then I have another problem. The Russian Style Hardened Aircraft Shelters uses a texture from the ground texture. I need to find that texture and edit it so it looks correct. Anyone have an idea of what the texture name is? I tried to edit the NOISE_1.bmp but it dident help.

Some more pictures showing of the new wonderful 3GO Flanker and my Autumn Textures. As you can see the texture vary depending were you are so it looks pretty realistic I think. Not a quilt patchwork everywhere, and it also works very well with other terrain mods. Today's update is the Autumn textures. Note again that im using my mod together with LO Reload and simmod enhanced terrain and structures mods. Basically I only have the winter textures left now. BW Shaggy

OK new update. Its actually spring here today, so I took the advantage to go out and actually look how the terrain is, so I think im getting closer. :) So not as funky colours this time. also if you fly close to the ground you will see leaves in different brown colours. More to come soon. Note! In one picture you see textures of the towns. Those are done by Simmod and can be found in another mod which I use parallel with my own. BW Shaggy

Dont reject it your model is by far the best Mig-21 there is! the others can F*** O** and start there own thread, but man your models are so great and i fully support you. dont stop please, and i would be honored to paint this beutiful aircraft

Time for an update. everything is going ok in the making of the graphics. So The summer textures are completely done now and i only have to do conersions for the other seasons. Though Lock On have some buggs, "see the last images posted with red lines". Im not sure of what it is, but my guess is that Lock On uses a form of texture overlay to amek the very few ground textures look different at different places. An example is if you look at the ground from an higher altitude, you will et weird shimmering on the ground aswell as complete areas coverd in different colours. But if you go down close it will look normal with a slight Hue colour change. This is a very annoying problem and if anyone has any tips of files to edit to get rid of it i would appreciate that very much. Now.... This mod will be compatible with any terrain mod you have and it will be in cdds files. I use the reaload mod aswell as the simmod ground mod with this one. Just overlaying my cdds files in the graphics cfg so they will load first. Works perfect. So yes theis mod will be modman compatible, but you may need to put in the graphics cfg entries yourself. And now some images. More to come soon, and if you can help me with my problems i would be very happy. BW Shaggy :)

Hello everyone. As my previous ground texture mod was pretty popular with some people they requested an version including all the seasons and having the textures in CDDS file format. I have basically completed the first beta of the summer textures and im working on the autumn textures. There are a few problems though and to make this mod work in need some help from the public. For autumn textures I have combined my own new ground textures together with the Simmod autumn textures, just replacing the files I have edited. But when I try and make a CDDS file of TGA files straight out of photoshop it wont work. The only way i got it to work was to use IrFanView and batch process all the TGA files and then combile a CDDS file. But then the alpha channel for trees wont work "see the last image" . Another problem is the borders between roads , fields, sea, streams, lakes etc is too big. But if i place those files directly in the Temp Textures folder there is no problem and they are normal size. So that is the biggest problems i have encounterd. Another side problem can bee seen in the next to last screensoot showing some round shimering stuff. It seemes like Lock On has some other textures covering up some parts of the maps so i would need to edit those to get rid of this. But i have no idea what file "files" it is. With that said ... here are some prewview screens and i hope to have made all the seasons finished this week. NOTE! everything you see here is BETA so its not the final Production. Best Wishes Shaggy
