well Swedish land mines and anti armour material is sued all over the world today. We are bastards for earning money t he bad way. Not a proud swede in that aspect.

we dident want to sell it to anyone that is the real truth:it was a too good plane to sell to anyone else. Just amazing aircraft. I have read a story about a Swedish viggen intercepting the flightpath of a SR-71 Blackbird, coming so close that he could fire a missile and shoot him down, And we are talking something like 50 000 Ft now. Amazing stuff.

I have been in the paint booth for some time now. Hope you all like this update. Still some way to go with adding detail but I think I have a good amount covered. More detailed renders and in game screens will follow soon. Hope you all enjoy. Edit.... I see i forgot to un-hide some detail layers in these pictures. those details will off course be added to the final package, sorry for that. The burner textures is also just a "Mock-up" and will be changed later to smaller more dynamic burners. These were just applied alignment and testing Typhoon F.2 XI Squadron RAF Coningsby

Hello everyone. Yepp i have been hard at work making the basic skin file for beta testers, so here are some pics for you all. Remember though that this isent the final product and allot of detail work still to add to make it right. Thx guys for the patience and support. March and April have been busy months for me. My family is starting a new company, my dog died and im working on my lorrie licence. At the same time i work on some other projects, on in particular more important than all the others. though i have had time to solve some problems i had and everything is looking all good for now. @Azrayen I dont think they are, if its possible to make an HUD in this way I think we would have to settle with heading, altitude information, maybe waypoints also. for gun sights and such it may be possible to fix an static sight like on the Su-25 but it probably wont work to make a dynamic sight like on the SU-27. As someone said earlier in this thread i think its all about trial and error. This game is the mother of bitches to mod, so with some patience and after a couple of brain hemorrhages i think we might ghet there in the end. If we are lucky. Even if we only cen find the size solution for analouge cockpits then that is a great thing :). Like for a certain alphajet ;)

well I have an idea. an HUD is all just built buy different sections of transparent tga files, so if you can make an analogue gauge for lock on, like an altimeter, whey couldent you build and hud using teh same arguments that are used for the altimeter etc......? in theory i think it can work, though makinkg the physics of the moving parts im not sure of.

i think its correctly modelled when i look at it, maybe the nose is to wide at the front pic there which gives the aspect of that the sides curves.

Well this particular aircraft has been used as a test bed down in South Africa. They have inserted and tested their own avionics and systems in this aircraft, so it wouldn't surprise me if they changed antennas and other stuff many times. BW Shaggy
