  4. I will sure consider it ;) thx for the nice comment about my skins. Much appreciated . BW Shaggy
  5. Very nice, cant wait to start painting this aircraft. ;)
  6. I think you need to crank up the Anti Alising on your graphics card. Nice pictures mate :)
  7. Back In The Days Im making some new airport objects and so I finished a beta of a blastwall and thought i would share it in a picture. Back In The Days..... Stargard, Poland 1990
  8. well, lightning is an important factor to make it look right. Try to get the shadowing on the aircraft right, and if you use photoreal terrain and such you will often see photoreal shadows aswell whch can go the completely wrong direction in comparison to the Sun etc. Then one of the most important factors i think is the aircraft / objects skin. If the skin looks bad and not like the real deal. All clean and stuff then its not gonna fool anyone. By all means im no expert but to make a great screenshot or a photo in real life you have to take in to account all these different factors.
  9. WEll hitman, even with all the greatest addons, you still have to be able to "catch" a picture. im not saying your pictures are bad, im only saying its still hard to get a picture looking almost real even though you have loads of great addons.
  10. Tested the SU-27 sound, One word! A M A Z I N G !!!!!
  11. Man this is amazing... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. You will get that update soon from me  http://www.veao.eu
  13. Thanks rattler That was the energy boost i needed from a couple of days of work, I will soon post my first status report for a project on that site. @ the rest of the community. Head over there. Post some tutorials if you like, Send a PM to me if there is any other forum within the boards you think is needed. Media and media editing i think is just as important in this business. How to edit pictures/videos, creating signatures, animated pictures, how to edit/work with a track etc....... Its all about what the community wants. BW Shaggy
  14. Maybe im impatient, but maybe i also wrote this thread in the wrong section, and im afraid if I don't spam this thread a little it will slip away un noticed. BW Shaggy
  15. Haha man that is awesome :D Just put a flight suit on her and put her in teh D verision of the gripen. Or make a kinky Ground crew mod :D
  16. Thank you guys :) . @ BrumTx I link to Lock On Files and Virtual-Jabog32 because they are basiclly the most common websites to find mods on. For instance Tigrous smokewinder mod you can find there, Bezcels various weapon pod mods you can find there. My Mig-29 Skins etc..... That is why i choosed to link there. Though maybe i will move those link into a bigger page of links and not have them on the main page. If you guys have any tips or requests about what should be changed and how we can make the concept better, feel free to tell me :) BW Shaggy
  17. Hello everyone. This modding community is growing all larger for each day. Private people work on their free time to bring the community awesome mods to enhance and perfect an simulator which already can seem obsolete in some peoples eyes. This is great! people even get educated in areas like graphics works, coding, 3d modelling, foreign languages etc. I have myself learnt allot since i joined the Lock On community, mostly in the graphical part as some people may have noticed. With this said i will go straight to the point. There is a little catch with having alot of modding groups wich i think can be quite annoying. Sometimes you need help in the mod making and for instance there is only 1 guy knowing how to accomplish what you are trying to do. So you have to google the net to find a website which he is at, join a forum, find a email adress and hope he replies. This can happen quite often, so in teh end you end up beeing a forum member at loads of forums which you rarely visit. Imagine these 2 people that are in contact with eachother about this thing actually work parallele to eachother on the same forum but in different mod groups. The only thing the other part would need to do is to make 2 clicks and post a post of what he wants to know to the other part, or send a PM. Another advantage with having a global mod site is that the community wich admires the work of the induvidual modders and mod groups doesent have to track 10 websites to get a status report. Alot of information can be found at this great forum, but elts face it. Some mod threads are rarely updated, and when they are updated there is always some armchair pilot at home that is making idiotic comments about it. Having a forum with loads of dedicated modders that help eachother would raise the knowledge base between us all through the ceeling over night!. So my question to everyone out there now is.... Is this an idea worth pursuing? I offer hosting of files on my domain, I have allready started on website and forums. The only thing that is needed is the interest from the community to ahve something like this. I know that mod groups have their own websites allready, and they can still keep them. But i still think it would be better to have everyone at a more local location rather than spread out like crazy over the net. Working close together will increase the quality and quantity of mods, and fast! . When the DCS series simulators comes out i think this will be even more attractive. Here you can see the site and the site idea: http://www.virtualavia.com/site And here you ahve the forum layout that i thought of: http://www.virtualavia.com/site/boards You can read a short text about the concept on the first page of the website. Hope this awakens interest in people. Best Wishes Shaggy
  18. Haha you are just too much tigrou, too much :D very nice! :D the pilot that is :D
  19. Haha nice! :D . But when it comes to chicks and British aircraft, there can only be one. Lucy Pinder :poster_oops::poster_offtopic: :D;)
  20. Update is that I have finished 2 3d models. They only need to be tweaked a little . Though i have been busy on other more important for me personally. "projects which actually have a deadline". The project isent dead. And when i find some time i always try to mod as much as possible. So one day you guys might be surprised and i finish the mod quickly ;) but right now i have to attend to some other projects. I could post some teaser pics if you guys want though. BW Shaggy
  21. Well i can live with that Tigrou, but the desert climate would severely disable some functions on me I think :D
  22. Awesome Guys!. Yeah and for Swedish 2 seaters all of them have numbers starting from 800 on the tail . Jas 39A numbers 0 - 200 Jas39C numbers 200 - 800 Jas39B/D Numbers 800 >
  23. Well first of all the Gun Is Missing, but that is correct for a 2 seater as they don't have the 27 mm Mauser canon. But i really cant find anything wrong here . But maybe the light in the nose wheel is missing?
