  1. This is a long wait? :(( Mig29 is so nice to use, the speed and thrust to weight is unparallelled. Would love to see it in PFM sooner.
  2. Я вот о чём подумал. У РЛС есть стабилизация по горизонту. И у ОЛС - тоже. Но если задрать нос вверх градусов на сорок, а потом включить ДВБ ОЛС и навести её вниз на -2 или -3, то ведь она не справится с этим? ведь ей нос самолёта мешает, т к она сверху установлена на носу. А у миг29 она просто всегда вперёд оси самолёта смотрит я так понял.
  3. Очень хочется миг 29А с такой же проработкой, что и су27, ф15. В мультиплеере самолёт просто очень интересный. Он ведь самый ракетообразный из этой троицы я так понимаю, су27 и миража оставит далеко позади на вертикали. Плюс мало топлива. Интересно летать.
  4. I like the spitfire choice. But the bf109 should be limited to ~1.7 ata for realism and balance i think. They dont even need to remake the plane, just limit its power. It doesnt matter the name of a spitfire or a bf109, it only matters how much ata and lbs they hqave in their engine.

  6. What we have is a 50-60 kmh advantage. G6 G14 or G10 can be at ~25-30 kmh advantage with MW50. Still indicates the spit is obsolete. I dont like the K4 choice and d9, too. Would be better wtih g6,10,14 and a8. But then still spit will be outmatched by a lot in a vertical and in speed.
  7. yeah well the era of turnfighting is 1930s ie prewar era. Spitfire is a tough turnfighter and it sacrifices a hand and a leg to turn well. It is 50 kmh slower then its rivals designed with speed in mind hence it cant have speed and it cant go vertical. all frontline fighters evolved to be better at vertical and speed. Spitfire did, too but its general designe implies it will lose in speed and in a vertical against a plane with smaller wings.
  8. 80+%. and then the spitfire.. cant help but notice how it is quite backwards by design. Look how k4 and lf mk9 have the same weight and engine power and the diffirence in speed and vertical ability... All plane designers strived to increase the speed of their aircraft. Which the large wings of a spitfire exactly prevent from acheiving.
  9. В игре можно менять преднастроенные частоты Р-863 и Р-828, но ведь есть ещё компас АРК-УД с 6 преднастроенными частотами. Может его тоже в настройки добавить для полноты картины?

  11. Нельзя ли сделать Автоподстройку автопилота (2-м пилотом, с кнопки в управлении) побыстрее. Просто если я сам подстраиваю, то у меня получается раза в 3 быстрее, а он так долго возится.

  14. Before engaging the heading hold channel, make sure its properly aligned. I cant describe it but do the following quick easy step: look at the heading autopilot rotating knob. It it is wildly spinning before engaging the autopilot, expect it to behave stupid. Or wait for it to stop spinning.
  15. It works one way: if you start gaining altitude above the selected value it will reduce rotor pitch, making the helo retain the altitude. However you have to understand that it wont increase the pitch more then what you have set initially before engaging the AP. Therefore it wont help you if you have a pitch setting that is not sufficient to begin with and the helo will start to descend. So to hold alt you need to set pitch that is a bit more then required (not less) and then engage the autopiolot.
  16. Ни в коем случае не надо этого делать. В горизонтальном полёте для ровного полёта всегда надо давать педаль. А если не триммировать, то весь полёт на неё давить.
  17. Um this is only true for noob level pilots like in that example. For reasonable or good pilots air combat is quite predetermined. And the outcome most of the time is based on who has the better plane. Air combat is actually very simple and primitive. When you push the skills to the limit, you see the same thing over and over again.
  18. Both mustang and spit are sort of trashy in pvp. Spitfire is just hit hard by its design philosophy of a turnfighter. Mustang is for long range and hence overweight.
  19. Ok so i need to compensate with right bank. Well well. So zero tail rotor thrust means approx halfway between center and full right rudder. But then how does the helo acheive full right rudder? it is negative pitch/thrust on a tail rotor?
  20. I really would like to have a server centered around transport/ combat activities of mi8 and huey. The big servers we have usually leave such helicopters very vulnerable against the big jet fighters. I want to be able to strafe some troops with rockets and then land the troops and see them do the rest. The biggest AA threats should be something like zu23 and manpad.

  22. I dont understand why buy 1000 spitfire 9 and then never find use for them... They dont fit the soviet front demands of speed at low alt.
  23. Im usually aiming for 200 kmh to use my weapons as it seems to be a standart speed for rocket runs giving good accuracy. However i have a problem with drift angle. I do the standart 0 degree bank, -2 to -4 degrees pitch and i use the rudder to center the ball. But with all these conditions met most of the time i have 3 to 8 degrees of drift angle to the left (seen via the right pilot's doppler device). I cant seem to get rid of this left drift at 200 kmh. Is this just by helo design or what? This angle makes aiming difficult as you need to compensate laterally for it quite significantly.
