  2. You are correct. Its a shame tho because it is a beautiful map with lots of potential as well as nevada and normandy. But what really has me excited is the upcoming South Atlantic map. All I can think about for this map is the Huey and aircraft from the 60s and 70s. I am definitely going to make up some Vietnam scenarios. Think im just excited about the south atlantic map as I am about the F-16 (which I hope still gets released at some point).
  3. I agree PG is a beautiful map and needs more missions from other aircraft. I see a few hornet missions have been developed just not too much for the helos. I do most of my F-18 practices on the PG map when I get the chance.
  4. I have a huey campaign i'm currently working on now for the Persian Gulf map but its crazy time consuming. Especially when doing it while holding down a 9 to 5 on top of making other missions. Now that I think about it, general mission development appears to be time consuming. When I hit this lotto im going to have so much free time on my hands that I might could push out 1-2 campaigns a month. :D But im definitely going to take my time on and invest in it. i really want it to be top quality.
  5. Hi! yea i see the same things. i was experimenting a bit with objects on the FARP and I may have placed to many helios. i'll try to make things a bit better on the next mission. I sometimes can get carried away with creating scenery. :smilewink:
  6. Na, comms really isn't needed for this mission but it does help out for those still working on navigation. Just a quick and easy way for some to find the way back home.
  7. Hi! this has now been fixed, please download the latest version. Thanks for the heads up!
  8. I will definitely start doing voice overs at some point. I think that will take the missions to the next level. Might you be interested in helping out with some voice overs on future missions? :D would love to have some variety of voices.
  9. I'm a code nerd at heart and when I found out you can build missions with lua code, I went all in! Just my way of giving back to a great community! Now if I could just make a living doing this. :megalol:
  10. FARP Hollywood : 002 Retaking Zomleti Strike Mission :yay: Today I would like to celebrate my 100th forum post with a new mission. :yay: 2 days ago the town of Zomleti located 7nm SE of FARP Hollywood was invaded by a group of armed insurgents from an unknown organization. Our Intel has spotted about 20-25 armed insurgents along with a couple of light armored APC units. Today we are going to retake Zomleti. We are going to fly in 18 ground troops (Team Echo) via CH47D which will split off into two groups when on the ground. A Team and B Team. EagleOne will provide CAS for the ground troops. Intel Update: Overnight a 3rd APC, a BTR-80, entered the area and has now taken position within 100 yards of our LZ. That BTR-80 must be taken out before our transport with troops arrive. Runtime: Mission will take approx. 25-30 minutes to complete. 11. my bad for the delay. can you believe my 9-5 is actually expecting me to work? lol :) thank you much for the heads up on the Mi8, i'm actually going to remove it all together once DCS fixes the user file updating. after revisiting the code, looks like a little more work is needed for the mi8 to work correctly. Made the mission originally for the huey but the Mia barley fits at OP2. if you had to chose, which is your favorite? Huey or Mi8? would you like to see missions strictly for the mi8?
  12. Hi rge75! yes this is a trigger based mission so be sure to visit OP 16 before you head to OP27B. When you make it to OP27B you can land in the empty spot next to the two Cobras. Right next to the red fuel truck. Thanks again for fly and i'll be a little more detailed on Mission 002.
  13. Thanks Fargo! its still a work in progress as i develop additional missions for it. I was inspired by the mission we all ran a few weeks ago

  19. sure hope you get a chance to Delta! i'm hooked on MOOSE. :D
  20. Welcome to the Kobuleti Air Show. Show off your flying skills or perform a demo for the good people of Kobuleti. Both the United States and Russia are flexing there muscles by showing off there latest aircraft and ground vehicles. The crowd started to arrive early this morning and now its huge with more visitors still expected. This is currently setup as a single player mission. It doesn’t work correctly as a multiplayer server because of the amount of objects in the map. This map may not be for everyone. Just made it to do some fun aerobatics in front of a large crowd. But I have to tell ya, this looks awesome in VR. **WARNING: Because of the number of objects placed on this map, This map may require a beefy high end computer system. ====================== Available Aircraft for Air Show F/A 18C Any Aircraft you wish, just change in the mission editor. Note: This map can be setup to use ANY Digital Combat Simulator module in the mission editor. Just select the player aircraft and change it at will. ====================== Download Here ======================
  21. Hi Jef32, so sorry your having some issues loading the game. For my system it only takes about 30 sec to load the game and then i'm playing. not sure why the game isn't showing up in your list after saving to your DCS/Missions folder. What 2 lua files are you speaking of as everything is contained within the .miz file?
  22. I too noticed this and made a post about it. let me remove mine. thanks Devrim
  23. Hi and good morning! I noticed that yesterday when making some minor updates to one of my User Files that after making the update, everything was reset back to (0) zero. My download count and rating were all reset back to Zero. I remember that it didn't always work this way. Is this something new or might we have a bug in the system?
