  1. Thanks DSPALLASVI! and thanks for playing i'll have part II up soon. Until then check out my latest mission. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=221414 :-)
  2. Hi nessuno0505! glad you enjoyed the mission. And yes I have to admit, the system takes a serious performance hit when doing the troop embarking @ Batumi. The original embarking process is still currently broken with DCS and had to resort to scripting the process - thus it takes a nice performance hit when doing so. As soon as its fixed in the ME i'll change it in the mission.
  3. Thank you Quadg! I have also added the install instructions to the mission briefing PDF. :smilewink:
  4. Hi Jef32! This mission was originally designed for the Huey but I did add an Mi8 for any pilots who fly that. All code should be packed within the miz file. Just tested out the miz file and it has loaded just fine for me. Here is the Huey Only version. maybe this will work for you. https://thefraternitysim.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/001-FarpHollywood-Troop-Extraction-from-Outpost-27B-Huey.miz
  5. Thanks for playing Dresoccer4! I intentionally left OP16 without a beacon. Didn't want to make the mission too simple for everyone.
  6. forgive the delay in missions i should be able to push them out a bit quicker now. the 9 to 5 had me a bit busy. damn sure which I could find a way to build missions for a living :D Hope you enjoy it!
  7. I so have my eye on this VR device! Can't wait for it to become available and also i wounder how this would run tied with a 2080 Ti? thank you much for sharing this video.

  9. Hi!I do believe FM homing in the huey is a little buggy at times. is this for a single or multiplayer mission? I can have FM homing working perfectly in a single player mission. However I have seen some issues with FM Radio homing when playing in a multiplayer missions. For me in multiplayer I have setup a trigger to transmit from a zone within the editor to get it to work correctly....and hell even then its hit or miss sometimes.
  10. indeed! I would love to see this for the Huey!
  11. Im looking forward to that pimax 8x and 2080ti review as well. im keeping my fingers crossed that it will be some good news. Hopefully this guy will do a review about it shortly. I believe he has one planned. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ33TPQYw_-c6itr0ReIu-Q/videos
  12. agreed! that price to performance has turned me way off. :-( But im sure someone will test this with DCS and that is what im going to base my purchase off of since I only play DCS.
  13. So I noticed this morning that Benchmarks of the 2080 and 2080 Ti are starting to be released. These are benches from just 1 reviewer but I would expect them all to be near the same. From this 1 reviewer looks like a decent jump from the 1080ti to 2080ti. (depending on the game) But I can't see myself upgrading to just a 2080 from a 1080Ti. Helll I can't see myself upgrading to a 2080 ti from my 1080 ti from these benches. Guess i'll just have to wait to see how this works out for DCS.
  14. if you are using your Rift mainly for DCS I would simply stick with the two sensor that it comes with. no need for a 3rd.
  15. this has also been certified for VR.
  16. Here is a quick little video that may help you out. it shows how to get AI to search for and engage targets.
  17. Hi nc_neo, no not at all. It should actually work with any helicopter. I just tested a dry run in the Mi8. You can simply go in the editor and change the unit to which ever Helicopter you wish to use. (but do not make any other changes or it could break the game.) The Huey, Mia, KA-50, and Gazelle should work fine for this mission. Let me know if you need some help doing this and i'll set one up for you. :smilewink: Enjoy!
  18. also make sure you have your power management mode set to "Perfer Max Performance" in your Nvidia control panel. So you can take full advantage of your new card.
  19. thanks Quadg for checking out the mission. I actually had the AI working very well before the last update. then it broke my mission so I had to resort to actually coding the embarking/disembarking process which takes a nice performance hit and unfortunately it makes the AI not that great. lol I made a couple changes to the Chinooks when they lift off from Camp Kilo for the return flight back to Batumi to help avoid collisions. So far it seems to be working ok. Im hoping with the next DCS World update the embarking/disembarking process is fixed and I will go back to the mission editor version which actually works the best. again thanks for flying!
  20. Sorry about that collision. I hate I had to change up the script a bit because of the last DCS update. It does take a bit more of a hit now that im using scripting for the embarking/disembarking process. Not so much when it was done directly thru the editor. Soon as ED has time to fix this again, i'll go back to the normal process. I had things working perfectly. :) I made a small change to there liftoff times that I hope will solve any collision issues for next time. :joystick: And its kind of cool watching others fly your mission. Great video and thanks for flying!
  21. glad you enjoyed it! yes i have a few more huey missions planned. stay tuned!
