  1. I found that F8 doesn't view the target close up but views where the target is as seen from your aircraft. Then you have to zoom in on the target to actually see it. The target does not have to be locked. The F8 cycles the targets but you have to zoom in each an every time you cycle to a new target. I gave up using this because it was just too time consuming to have to zoom in on every target, probably for the better on many fronts :o)
  2. "7. Launch TB" - how? I installed the 'TBToolkit_-_1.3.4 setup.exe' into a folder of my choosing (E:\GAMING\GAME APPS\Touchbuddy) but there is no Touchbuddy.exe in that folder after install. So, when I click on "TBToolkit.exe" (which is the only exe in that folder), it asks me for the location of "Touchbuddy.exe". I have no idea where to find this exe. Completely lost and running around in circles. Please advise as to the location of "Touchbuddy.exe" after installing TBToolkit_-_1.3.4 Or where am I going wrong? Thanks! Edit: This (attached - magnify it) is what I see when I just start the game now (without the above issue being resolved). The resolution makes the buttons unreadable and none of the buttons are clickable in the left panel. Please advise. tahsnk!
  3. Great looking! I have a few of questions. 1) If one were to purchase a touchscreen - are there specifics (quality) that one should look for in the touch screen or is one touch screen the same as the next (except for resolution and screen size, of course)? 2) Regarding: 4. In your graphics card control panel, set your monitors to Dual View mode and all their resolutions to 1024x768. 5. Check in Windows desktop properties that your monitors are arranged in a horizontal row.... I use TH2Go - so this doesn't make sense to me (call me stupid). What are the specifics for TH2Go? 3) Where is the file: TouchBuddy\touchbuddy.cfg ? Is that only somewhere if you have used TouchBuddy before? Thank you for your time and input!
  4. Hey Carlos - here's my X45 Shkval Assignments using the mouse emulator yoke - works great! By spybaz PS: I use mouse yoke + pinkie for regular mouse-in-cockpit movement
  5. If clickability in the cockpit is your main problem I highly recommend getting a Saitek x52 joystick before Track IR. While Track IR is fantastic (I use it on all my sims), if you are tied to a budget and can only afford a joystick OR TIR, getting the x52 is probably the best solution to your problems. Not only can you assign virtually every key stroke (read 'cockpit click') to the joystick but there is ALSO a mouse emulator gadget on the joystick so you NEVER have to take your hands off the joystick - ever! Except when you want to go to bed. :)
  6. Track IR = no going back after trying it! Saitek x52 = fully programmable. No need to touch keyboard. Great feel. (tho No FFB). Rudder pedals = if you wanna really 'fly' this helo, rudder pedals add full immersion (not vital tho - x52 has twist rudder capability) Also (if you have the cash) Triplehead2Go (w/3 monitors) = completes the illusion amazingly.
  7. I just get 'Page Cannot Be Found" when I click "Download". I know that this issue is not anything to do with ED or anything BS. Just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue...? I have tried multiple times with the same result. I don't want to have to join the downloading host site just so I can TS with them. Thanks.
  8. I notice that there does not seem to be any discipline about keeping the helo very clean. They must be very busy!
  9. No probs s/Saitek x52 here. I love it. Had it for a while. All BS keys assigned to x52. No keyboard needed for me!
  10. I assign the 'pause' and 'center' for TIR to 2 of my X52 buttons. They get used frequently. No probs with V4.1.36 here. I am using that version currently. Are you sure your TIR software is running?
  11. I've used TIR for years. Yeah, the LEDs stay on/blink when it's plugged in. My original one (v3 I think, or v2 - can't remember) died so I always unplug my newer TIR v4 when I'm not using it - just to preserve longevity. I don't know if leaving it plugged in does any harm but I figure that unplugging it while not in use can only benefit this delicate piece of hardware...
  12. Hey Tronso - I'm not sure where you're having problems finding the Ka50 profile. When I did the TIR update, the profile was right there - in the GUI for TIR.
