Well, they only light up for a couple of seconds on each boot up(right after i pressed the button to boot).

Also checked that. Enough power for all components. Im not sure, if this is on all Mainboards but the "V_Phase_Ledґs" do all light on booting. I never noticed that before, most likely didnt pay attention to that. All leds do light, green, yellow and red. In the manual, it says "The number of lighted LEDs indicates the CPU loading. The higher the CPU loading, the more the number of lighted LEDs." Mmh.

This pc is bought from a company called alternate. There, you can put your own pc virtually together. Their webiste tells you, if some components are compatible or not. I bought the pc, which was 100 % compatible(otherwise, i couldnt have ordered it:thumbup:). Anyway, everything works fine so far. But with the power, thats something, i will check.

X64. Im currently checking dual channel mode. EDIT: Well i checked it a couple of times now, it says "Total memory: 8192 M" So i guess it has all 8 GB ram installed and ready to use. I also see them in the system configs.

On this picture, i posted, you see on the left window, bottom left side "Kernel Speicher (MB) ausgelagert 125 nicht ausgelagert 34" Compared to a friend of mine, he has 250. Does someone know, what these numbers mean and how your numbers are? I still think there is something wrong with the core so currently, im doing bios update and retry with the drivers.

This is strange. From all people i know, they all said they had Fps increase. So, what do most people experience. XP -> W7 Fps increase or decrease? Vista -> W7 Fps increase or decrease? How about we open an poll? :lol:

In both actions, no change in fps.

latest saitek drivers. But they are not installed in this moment. Now, im gonna unplug and test, then plug them, install the newest driver and then try again.

Yes. In average, i have an Fps loose of 25. XP___|___W7 80___|___50 62___|___40 45___|___23 and so on. i have track with certain views. I wrote down the fps of them. On a second HD, i installed W7 with all needed drivers. I used the very same track and the very same Nvidia and LO settings and also wrote down these fps.

Everyone has an fps increase but i have an decrease and no fps change even after updating my system. Do you think i dont want to know, whats wrong with my system? The CPU is on 100 % the whole time, LO is running. There must be an solution. If i cant fix it, i will switch back to XP. Big thanks for all the help, btw. :)

Ok i switched it to "Force On" and have max 60 fps.

Yes. After i formated my pc and installed from the scratch, i had to install the Starforce driver. If i would reinstall, then i wouldnt need that. Full Screen. When i did set everything in the LO settings to low, i have more than 60 fps on some views(looking up into the sky, more than 1000 fps, watching in F2 in some certain directions, 120 fps).

I did install the newest driver after i formated again to start from scratch with the system. -> W7 -> MB drivers -> Nvidia driver -> realtek HD audio driver -> LO and the rest

Ok, i just finished some testing. I left all LO settings the same. I set all Nvidia graphic settings(AA and such) to low and performance. Only a change of ~2 fps. So i guess its not the graphics card. ---------- I put all Nvidia graphic settings to my defaults (8 AA, 8 Anti strope and such) and set all LO graphic settings to low. Fps increase of plenty. But still, the core, LO is using has an usage of 100 % all the time, while LO is running. Im getting out of ideas, what i could try to get it running properly on W7.

I did install the newest driver off all hardware components (without Nvidia cause the newest one makes trouble with GPU, i heart) and mainboard. Also, im testing and did compare the fps rates with a blank LO, without any mods, only my graphic settings.

I just installed Direct X 9.28. No change in fps. Here a picture of the performance in LO. CPU Core, which is usage for LO is running on 100 % the whole time. Thats not normal.

As an additional note, i currently have Direct X 11. When i installed Lock On and it asked me to install 9.0b, i couldnt do it, cause it says the newest one are already installed. I heart Direct x 11 is not so good for Lock On? :noexpression: But anyway..

Just did that, no change. @ Hitman: I run at 1920x1080. I dont want to get more out of this system, i want to get on the at least same level of performance i had on XP. That must be possible. Im just checking. While Lock On running, also set to only one core, the usage of the selected core is always on 100 %. I think there i something wrong.

W7 did that already. If i install the drivers for the motherboard with the CD, i have problems to install invidia drivers. It is not certain, if i will switch.

k, i updated my pc and swaped my 9800 with an 260 GTX and i added 4 GB ram. No change on the FPS in Lock On. So to put together, i have 3,2 GhZ dual core 8 GB ram 260 GTX 900 mb I have these graphic settings: http://sawamura.de/graphics.cfg In average, i still have 20 - 30 fps less than i had in XP.

No FPS change when i swapped my card with an 260 GTX. I will give more ram a try. What do you guys think? :huh:
