I did serval tests with FC on XP and W7. For my pc (3,2 GhZ Dual core, 8 GB ram, 260 GTX Nvidia) i have 3 more FPS on W7(64 bit), than on XP (32 bit). Maybe my system is not the best example to proove it, but i would certainly suggest to go with W7. :thumbup:

Its been a while.. I brought some new pictures. :) (This event was still flown in FC 1.12)

Problem solved. Kinda a little mistake from my side. I thought, i had fullscreen enabled, cause i always had fullscreen. I just saw, that the fullscreen was disabeled. I enabled it an the fps are far over 30 on the cities. :) Thanks a lot everyone for your help and support. :thumbup:

For today night, i dont want to download this tool, which engages my system and if that would not work, i dont want have trouble to erase it afterwards. I will try that tomorrow, in case no other solution can fix this problem. Thanks for the advise. :thumbup: If there are other suggestions, im all ear. :)

I did enable it in my nvidia settings (global and then also again on the simulator.exe) but no change. Could it be, that it has no effect and i must download this 3doverwriter tool?

Yes i have. I flew on 2 online server with this installation. Both server have the new patch. :noexpression: Thanks for the advise. I hope i can fix that, somehow.

Hi, for some time now, i noticed while checking my fps, an unwanted lock on 30 fps. Situation: I fly 1000 meters over some fields, cities and villages. If i look into an direction, where the mountains are, i have my 55 - 60 fps. If i take an look into the direction of an city or vilagge, the fps drop to 30. Not 29 or 31, exactly to 30. Even though, i cant see the buildings yet, the fps drop around 50 %. Frazer gave me some tips about my Nvidia settings(i have an nvidia 260 GTX with newest driver) but that didnt help. We may think, its an problem with the graphics card. This kinda issue pushes me down on many fps. Would be very great to fix that. :book: Is there maybe someone, who suffered with the same problem? Hi, for any case, i want to backup(save up on an differen HD), my settings for FC2. What i want to back up are the graphic, view and control(for all aircraft) settings. I dont want to re-do all again after an new installation. :music_whistling: In FC1, everything worked out pretty well, after i put in my back uped files into their folders. Can someone help me out please, what folders i have to back up for that? Thanks a lot in advance. :)

There is an real air demo team called "Berkuts". If im not mistaken, they fly Mi-24 Hind choppers in the russian air force.

I got 3,2 GhZ dual core 8 gb ram (on XP, only 3,25 aviable) 260 GTX XP 32 bit SP 3 Wndows 7 64 bit Checking the usage of the cores, on both, xp and w7, they are simillar, almost the same.

After testing it some time, i came to the conclusion, that i got on W7 in average 3 fps more. So for the people, who dont want to be seperated with their XP, for FC 2.0, is not realy an need to switch. :thumbup:

Hi, for testing it out, i just installed FC 2.0 on my XP installation and notice, that FC 2.0 is like on W7, using both cores. I got very simillar or even the same fps on the very same graphic settings. I will keep comparing XP and W7. Someone maybe with same experience in testing FC 2.0 on XP?

With the added performance, we also got more details. The environment of this and some other airbases is simply great and looks so more real than on the old FC(Im sorry FC 1.12, you are still a nice game! ;)). :D
