Hi! I was investigating about the SA TLF & VHF TLK switches and thats what I found searching the fórum, but still in the sahdows about what is the real function of these switchess. Any way to know? Any other forum thread that I miss? LukeFF What exactly does this switch do, especially in comparison to item 6 (the VHF-TLK channel)? In all the tracks and videos I've seen, it's not necessary to have this button switched in order for the datalink system to function, but VHF-TLK is....? Vosene Also does anyone know what the data link SA-TLF switch does on the Radio and Data Link Power Control Panel (5th switch on the right from the Intercom power on switch). Page 2-77 simply refers to the name SA-TLF switch but there is nothing else in the manual about it. Frederf I half-remember the SA-TLF being a toggle between two modes of radio traffic. I do know it's not modeled in the game so the switch does nothing but in real life it's like the difference between pulse dial and touch-tone. but don't go quoting me as fact on that SA-TLF switch, just my faint memory of what I swore that's what that switch does. Hilikusopus Also, I'm not altogether sure what the VHF-TALK switch is used for (Wall panel, used in final checks), whether it's "VHF-TLK" as its cockpit label indicates, or whether it's a typo and should actually read "UHF-TALK" as I've seen used elsewhere. I try switching opposite to default switch position and changing what looks like frequencies......but can´t notice any effect. Maybe not implemented yet in the sim but manual doesnt state "no function" as usual. Still wondering myself......... Skkuda

Hi! At first I tought "that is going to be the easy one" Wrong! I said to myself thats just about watching the routes at night with my NV googles! I love the way the comms get you immerse in some military operations, and the way they send you some coordinates to get you to introduce a target point to direct you to some areas but I was wrong...its not the easy one! There is too much things to do and the way they should be combined......NV Googles, adaptative blue light, PVI etc etc. Its extremely difficult to spot the routes at night.....untill now I wasnt able to spot the truck, jeep & sedan. But I can promise you that Im not going to give it up! One of this days when I become more proefficient at using my shark im going to catch this little ............... Well calm down Skkuda, thats oK youre still a rookie!:D Skkuda

Ok after messing around with the deactivation/activation stuff, got the game running again by the way activations lefts......6 So Ulrich.....I do lost one activation. Seems that install the patch over some addons like lee dust and dragon airports textures were the problem. Ok, that was my fault. Im going to assume that. But that activation/deactivation process is a Pain in the A$$ As a consumer/customer wasn´t feel protected. The game and all your work whorth plus 10 points and lot more but the activation/deactivation 10 steps back but that´s only my opinion and I feel that my opinion here is valid as my dog´s woof in the backyard of my house. scuda

Sorry to say that but...... Too many people state here that this game is a lovely bugfree game in his state........wich I agree. But all the good job went to the trashcan when this BUG called starforce starts to screwing my happiness. Sorry but I need to tell it.....for me this.....I dont know how to call it "Starforce utility" is a very big BUG! That is the first time that I am afraid of changing hardware, format computer, reinstall operative system, and now patching my game with an official patch got me with this...... Get home fire up my pc installed new patch...change language settings and... The Activation Key is not valid any more due to significant changes of the computer hardware configuration. Press "Retry" to reactivate the application. If the error recurs, press "Error report" and send the report to product technical support. Ok! thats completely ok.......knowing my little patience in that kind of things I try to deactivate my lovely starforce and.... Unable to deactivate the product license due to significant changes of the computer hardware configuration. Only valid licenses can be deactivated. To obtain an error report and send it to product technical support, press the corresponding button. So instead to deactivate I try to get a new activation key and thats what i get..... For activation, submit specified Serial Number and Hardware Code to the activation site proactive.star-force.com/2.0/activate.php during one day. The activation site will create a personal Activation Key for you. whats the meaning of this? I have to wait 24hs to get my new activation key? Why? only for aplying the patch over my dcs version? Come On! what "significant changes of the computer hardware configuration" did I make? I dont change nothing rather than apply the official patch! Having little time for a day to play this game because of familiy, job, obligations, and now this......I have to waiste time trying get my game to work, to inform everyone what I did to my pc and all kind of excuses to get my new activation key wich I dont get instantaneously I feel a little relaxed now scuda

Hi.....Just to make sure Im doing things in the correct way! Reading the manual I interpreted that to change altitudes I should.... First situation-with altitude AP Off. Press Cyclic Brake Lever Raise Cyclic as required to start a climb Release Cyclic Brake Lever The chopper starts to climb for the time being..... when new altitude is reached Press Cyclic Brake Lever Down Cyclic as required to level Release Cyclic Brake Lever trim the chopper. Second situation-with altitude AP On. Press Cyclic Brake Lever Raise Cyclic as required to start a climb keep Pressing Cyclic Brake Lever Untill the chopper gets new altitude when new altitude is reached Down Cyclic as required to start leveling once new altitude is reached release Cyclic Brake Lever and trim the chopper. It´s that the correct way or Im missing something? Thanks in advance Skkuda
