  1. The Issue was latest Nvidia driver. Reverting back to 566.36 solves the problem but starts a whole load new ones stick to latest driver and use 120hz locked to half framerate.
  2. I will give 120 a go. Are you running process lasso? Is that medium high settings or low to medium? For DCS in Nvidia control Panel I have ultra latency on and maximum performance on.
  3. I am using the Pimax Crystal Sim latest Pimax Play latest Nvidia Drivers on rtx 4090 I9 14900kf 64gb 4800 ram. Also use Pimax XR 0.4.4, Quad views 1.1.3 and quadviews companion. At 72 hz constant flickering across the centre of view within the headset at 90-120 hz no flickering at all. Checked cables and connections etc. I have just come back to DCS and didn't have this problem before. Has anyone else had this issue and is it just a Pimax software rollback? Thanks.
  4. So no change for built in openxr and quadviews.
  5. Thanks I am gonna wait until Pimaxplay is fixed before installing the latest version. Stable at the moment with a clear image.
  6. Yes Completed So you have latest Pimaxplay with Quadviews 1.1.3 installed which boxes are ticked in Pimaxplay to make this work. Also do you have quadviews companion working? I am not sure which combination is best. Thanks.
  7. Ok I am still using PimaxPLay 1.30 with pimax xr 0.44 runtime quadviews 1.1.3 and quadviews companion which is very stable for me. The latest Pimaxplay with quadviews etc is glitchy and the image quality is not as good. Pimax headset Crystal Sim version.
  8. On the survey form it has openxr toolkit compatibility the author of the toolkit has expressed not to use it is this correct as I have uninstalled it
  9. Yes returned to 1.30 with external files etc more stable. Your not wrong.
  10. I understand your frustration since the latest DCS/Pimax play updates opinions vary on what to do. Which pimax headset do you have? Is the headset connected to your PC? What Type of rig do you have?Calvin from Pimax on this forum is very helpful. Also on youtube setup videos from Pimax are available. My settings are attached to the thread below if it helps. Note latest Pimaxplay is 1.33.
  11. Yes seen that set my mouse back to default settings ran DCS mouse movement no glitches in VR [as yet] see how it goes.
  12. I have no idea how to do that 68 years old.
  13. Sorry to say back to square one. What ever polling rate I apply via Ghub its as it was I had about a day with no glitches its got to be something else I am missing. Update only happens in DCS other flight sims are fine.
  14. Not totally cannot run at 90-120hz without stuttering. At 72hz its stable for me. I used Revo Uninstaller Pro to remove XR toolkit etc then regedit to get rid of what was left. Image below is my registry after reinstalling everything. Initially i was going to uninstall DCS and come back in a year it became to frustrating changing one setting that would change another. Pimax Play also had issues as I had corrupted firmware don't ask me how I have no idea. That was fixed via a remote link to Niko @ Pimax in China. I am hoping the next DCS and Pimaxplay updates make significant changes if not i'll hang up my joystick for a while.
  15. I had to set my BIOS to default settings uninstall all pimax software and remove from registry all XR related programs including quadviews then reinstall to see an improvement. But I also had a firmware issue that was fixed by PImax tech support See Below another issue solved
  16. Ghub Installed seems to work ran DCS for an hour or so in VR no mouse issues
  17. Your Right give it a go later.
  18. Its a logitech G402 wired version I've had for years using default windows driver I will check logitech website. I think GHUB will cause more problems by all accounts very buggy.
  19. After testing 72hz is the best for my rig 13900KF 64GB Ram RTX 4090 settings below 90-120 to choppy
  20. I honestly don't know what the issue is I changed my polling rate to 125hz following the windows 11 method. I have had issues with my Pimax Crystal that have now been solved. I don't have any active mouse software that could be a culprit the only mouse settings I have is via windows 11 as below. The only new addition to my rig is the Thrustmaster AVA base but I don't think that's an issue.
  21. IN VR when i move the mouse the frame rate drops rapidly if I don't move it I have a constant framerate is this a known problem. I adjusted the polling rate to below 500 and it works for a while until I leave the game. When I restart DCS back to square one. Using Pimax Crystal Sim at 72hz
  22. Niko from Pimax reflashed the firmware this morning short test everything seems ok at 72hz not tested 90-120hz try that tomorrow.
  23. Hi Calvin Nico at pimax is going to do a remote session next week to address the firmware issue. At the moment its intermittent stability at 72hz works OK for about an hour before stuttering starts at 90-120hz its minutes. I don't know if its the headset or my PC or a combination of both. No flickering in headset after BIOS upgrade.
  24. Been in contact with my PC supplier who recommended I upgrade my BIOS as there is an issue with 13/14 generation CPUs. I have upgraded to latest and now within the headset the image is constantly flickering for any program and within Pimax Play any suggestions. Also I have put in a ticket ref firmware. Update Uninstalled Pimax Play removed all traces from registry etc. Disconnected headset completely and removed battery and reinstalled Pimax Play Reboot connect headset direct to pc after a short test in DCS no flickering [yet] will test more tomorrow.
