The current version of DCS F5E seems that the G overload damage limit decreases with the increase of speed. At IAS 500 knots, it can pull more than 11g without overload damage. At IAS 800 knots, overload damage occurs at approximately 7-8.x G. Note that it is correct that F5E pulls about 11g without break up, and break up should occur at higher overload. It's easy to reproduce. No track file. DCS version:open beta 2.7.7.14727

CDI(course deviation indicator) does not work when using DF

CDI only need bearing. It should work. -
DCS F-5E ADF behavior is different from what is written in the manual( T.O. 1F-5E-1 and DCS F-5E manual). To use ADF navigation, the DCS F-5E need to rotate the UHF Radio Function Selector to the ADF position and the NAV MODE selector to the DF position. When the NAV MODE selector in the DF position, the MAIN and BOTH positions of the UHF Radio Function Selector does not activate the ADF navigation. However On T.O. 1F-5E-1,Page 115,item 2 is written: Page 109,item 8 is written: Page 116,item 9 is written(Same as DCS F-5E manual, different from DCS F-5E actual behavior): So,ADF position of UHF Radio Function Selector is Nonfunctional on aircraft with UHF DF selection on NAV MODE selector. This means when the NAV MODE selector in the DF position, the MAIN and BOTH positions of the UHF Radio Function Selector should activate the ADF navigation. The ADF position of the UHF Radio Function Selector is unknown. DCS F-5E with UHF DF selection on NAV MODE selector. RL F-5E in T.O. 1F-5E-1 and DCS F-5E equipped with the AN/ARC-164 UHF radio, AN/ARA-50 UHF/ADF automatic direction finder, and RL F-5E are equipped AN/ARN-118 TACAN systems(The pictures and examples in the manual are AN/ARN-1 1 8 ),DCS F-5E equipped TACAN AN/ARC(N)-118 NAVIGATION SYSTEM. Did I make a mistake? Or DCS F-5E simulates different variant? Or the behavior of the F-5E ADF does not match the manual( T.O. 1F-5E-1 and DCS F-5E manual).

Very thanks for your reply. FE=flight engineer? Are you a mi8/mi171 pilot or ground crew?

This may be related to the position of the center of gravity, the force generated by the control surface, and the weight of the whole aircraft. Of course, there may not be. If so, it probably means that FM needs a lot of work. If the center of gravity, the force generated by the control surface, or the weight of the whole aircraft have problem, the possible effect is on the entire FM. Or maybe related to reverse ground effect.

Is this Information in the manual(DCS Mi-8 manual or RL helicopter manual)?

Can you tell me in detail?

[NO BUG]take off auto flaps - f18 - pitch up?
Northwind replied to PPPAnimal's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
AUTO flaps, decrease trim to 0(STAB 0 on FCS page),takeoff with AUTO flaps, still pitch up. Half flaps, decrease trim to 0(STAB 0 on FCS page),takeoff with AUTO flaps, still pitch up. -
Compared to the real life aircraft, it seems more difficult to keep the nose up when the DCS F/A-18C touchdown.Even at 300 lb fuel or less. No external store, full flaps. I know FM maybe not completed yet. Just in case, if the developer didn't notice this. Two real life aircraft video links. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rph3hw4Us1Y

Yes,the selector for for left/right engine on the engine start panel, and unlabeled center position.
