  1. Hi again, Solved the problem after finding some advice from Bignewy in another thread. Deleting the Settings.lua file from the Mission Editor folder in Saved Games has fixed this issue. Thanks. Edit: Just noticed your reply Ramsay. Thanks very much. pngflyer
  2. Hi guys, As the title says, I am unable to open the mission page from the main page menu since updating to 1.5.7.10872. When try to open the mission page, I get a loading screen and nothing from that point on. The only way I can get out is to shut DCS down using the Task Manager. I have never had this problem since updating to the latest version. I have no mods at all, or even any user created skins. Totally vanilla install. Hope someone can steer me in the right direction. pngflyer
  3. Thanks for your answers guys, and for your mod gospadin. Hopefully RAZBAM will get to it, but in the meantime I might need to look at JSGME... or just make more of an effort with the French cockpit. pngflyer
  4. A question for CptSmiley... Really enjoying the Mirage. I know there was talk a while back about implementing a default English cockpit for the UAE variant, and I'm wondering if this is still planned? I realise there is a mod, which requires JSGME but I'd really like to avoid JSGME if I can as I like to keep things simple. Whatever the case, thank you for the fine ac which is the Mirage 2000C. I'm just struggling with the French is all... pngflyer
  5. Hi nuts, Sokol1_br (and others) answered lots of questions for me on this very issue recently, so I'll paste a couple of bits from his answers to save him writing the same again:). There is lots of info in this thread below too. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=120049 Sokol said that at the moment people are using the TELE5010/11 sensor in Arduino PRO Micro with MMJoy2 firmware. If this doesen't make sense (it didn't to me at the start) be prepared for lots of reading in the forum I linked above. He also linked them for me if you want to buy: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/TLE5...634095245.html Mmjoy2 ready to use from China: https://world.taobao.com/item/520508...cmdRUvf#detail I'm not expert on this and still trying to understand it myself. Also check out the forum on modding a Suncom F-15 stick for usb. Hope this helps. pngflyer
  6. Hi again BIGNEWY, Thanks for your help. I've tried to unbind a few times now but I get a "One or more parameters are invalid" message, and it still looks like the product is bound on that particular licensing page. It's still showing up on my module manager in DCS too. Any other suggestions? pngflyer
  7. Hi, I own both BS2 versions, the upgrade from BS1 and the stand alone version. I have installed and activated the stand alone version, but the module manager suggests that there is a module I own which I have not activated (the BS2 upgrade), which is correct. My question is how can I permanently remove the BS2 upgrade from the module manager as I have no plans for ever activating that again? Thanks for your help. pngflyer
  8. Thanks very much for the pics guys and the specific help. I've been doing heaps of reading on this the last few days and I've learned a lot. @ RightStuff, for sure that is an option, and that will give me USB compatability. The problem is I'd still be stuck with potentiometers which, even though they've seen almost no use, are sure to give me trouble in the not too distant future. This is the problem I'm trying to get around. Unfortunately I don't have the skills to attempt a Hall sensor and USB conversion. pngflyer
  9. Thanks for your replies guys. I've been doing heaps of reading trying to understand the issues here. Still reading at the moment, so I'm not quite sure which way I'll go. Thanks again for your helpful replies. pngflyer
  10. Hi guys, I have a Thrustmaster F-22 Pro stick (never used) and I'm wondering whether it would be possible to attach it to a VPC Mongoose T-50 base? I'm tired of not being able to use the F-22 Pro (gameport) and am wondering if this might be a possible solution. The reason I ask is that I've noticed on their webpage that the Mongoose base is compatible with the TM Cougar grip, but I'm not sure about how similar the Cougar is to the F-22 Pro. Thanks for your help, pngflyer
  11. Ahh Crimean Tour, now that brings back memories. I got so much enjoyment out of that mission when I used to fly it Ironhand, so thank you. It's a shame there's no equivalent now. Still remember that hole in the rock... I've downloaded your Kutaisi mission and am looking forward to flying that. Thanks again, pngflyer
  12. Thanks for the reply Baltic_Dragon. The NTTR campaign is a definite purchase for me, and I'll keep a look out for the training coming to NTTR too. I probably wouldn't have gotten into the Mirage without your training missions but I'm so glad I did, so thanks for all your efforts.
  13. Thankyou very much for answering guys. Appreciate it. pngflyer
  14. Hi Baltic_Dragon, A quick question for you. Would there be a lot of work involved in making your training missions work in the NTTR map? Do you have any plans to do that? I am really enjoying the Mirage at the moment, and your training missions, but I'm finding it hard to go back to the Causcaus map after flying in NTTR's visual loveliness:). Whatever the case, thankyou for your training missions, pngflyer
  15. Hi guys, As the subject line reads, I'm unable to send a PM. I can log in, type a message ok, but when I try to send, I get a message saying that I'm not logged in. This has been the case for some time now. Any ideas? Thanks for your help, pngflyer
  16. Really, really looking forward to this aircraft. For me, fighting with a Mirage III in DCS will bring together everything I personally love about sim air combat: a tricky flight model (hopefully) which will need constant attention, limited help from radar and other mod cons and a truly beautiful looking jet with real world bragging rights. Ya gotta love any jet you need to get from 190 to 170 kts on late finals. One ex RAAF Mirage pilot said of it that it loathed anything below 300kts! Should be a challenge to fly.
