hello, i am trying to purchase this campaign, but the DCS page is not allowing me to (no purchase button). i have the other required mods (P51, Normandy, WW2 assets) but is says that i require something else. the purchase page says, "Requires DCS World version 2.5.4 or above!", but i am running the latest version of the open beta any ideas?

Hello, i am new to mission building and have a question. when building a single player mission i prefer to use "client" as opposed to "player" as it allows me to effectively build several missions onto one file. my question is; does client take more resources or slow frame rates in relation to player? i know that client is primarily for multi-player, so i am wondering if this will effect my performance (FPS) in any way by using client instead of player. thanks in advance

hello, i have trouble shooted, and for me the culprit appears to be the mod "WWII MOD COLLECTION (aircraft)". once i removed these aircraft (although some seemed to be ok), this issue went away. will have to do without until it is updated (BTW, i have never used multi player. so this is for both single and multi)

not sure if this has been mentioned, but have found a work around until the fix comes. after shutting down, from the ground crew menu / rearm-refuel / just switch to a different skin (aircraft). had no issues after doing this

i have searched this forum but still am not sure if it is a bug of if i am doing something wrong... after flying and then shutting down and then re-starting from a cold cockpit, i can never get the bit test to work correctly and more importantly the LEF no longer work correctly (one will not deploy). i have followed all the correct shutdown and startup procedures mentioned in the docs, you tube vids and from these forums. has this been idintified as an actual bug? or is their something that i am missing? thanks in advance

confirm the same issue... - start from normandy case 1 instant action ( land, shut down, and then wait for night time for night practice). - start up with Jester from cold cockpit - taxi to catapult. - move wings from stored to full forward, lower flaps - wing indication in cockpit shows correct full forward and flaps extended. - but when i look over my shoulder, wings are still in full sweep (oversweep) - switch to F2 outside view and wings are in correct full forward position. - takeoff shows that wings are "acting" correctly as full forward

thanks all. i have hit the reset button. to clarify, when looking at the wings from the cockpit, they are fully swept even though the display shows full forward and flaps down. i then switch to the F2 outside view and the wings are as they should be matching the full forward indication. i will try and get a picture

have been running the Normandy case 1 landing scenario, and continuing into night ops. after landing, and after the sun sets, when looking at the wings from the cockpit it always shows full sweep. intrument inside cockpit shows wings at full forward, when looking from F2 wings are full forward; however when looking right from cockpit wings are fully swept

i probably did not word it correctly... is there a way to have the view "transition" back to the home view as opposed to snapping back. and to clarify, i am talking about using the hat switch to look left or right, up or down, and them pushing the botton to go back to the straight ahead view

hello all, when i pan left or right and then hit the button to return to center view, its snaps back without a transition. is there a way to make the view transition back to center instead of snapping? a bit unrealistic. thanks in advance

in addition: - while performing the FLCS bit test, the LEF's are wrong; R LEF shows 12, L LEF shows 0; however if you look at them physically, it is the opposite. can not get both LEF up to 0. BIT test does not work

a couple of issues after trying to restart aircraft after a full shutdown. there is no cold start on the carrier in either the training or instant action missions. i use the case 1 landing persion gulf; land the aircraft and then shut it down completely. - when i restart the aircraft the INS is already aligned. is this accurate. i would think that once you shut the aircraft down you would need to re-align. - i can not perform the bit test on the FLCS with the normal procedures. can not get the system to perform the flight control bit test. am i doing something wrong?

thanks, was wondering if i was doing something wrong. i hope that ED updates the carrier wake, as it makes lining up much easier. as stated above, there is basically no wake anymore

for some reason, my carriers leave little to no wake behind the boat. i have seen many videos where there is at least a 3/4 mile wake. is there a setting that effects this?

hello, something odd. i had a switch on my warthog throttle assigned to L and R engine ignition (throttle advancing from off to run). the switch stopped working and when i checked the control assignments, i no longer see the option listed as a binding option. did something change?
