The price are almost the same, so im going for the Samsung. Any idea regarding the ram? I have choosen 2 x 8 because I eventually are going to upgrade to 32 gb in the future.

Never thought of the MSI Power, but since im going with a watercooler, I guess the thermal armor will come in handy. Keeping things cool is def a high priority. Hi Guys I have finally been able to save up (and convince my girlfriend) that I need a new system. This will be my first complete build, so im asking anyone with knowledge in this field, to take a look and advice me if there is anything I should change or avoid. First all I will be using this system to play DCS and Arma III. Second I will use this for video editing. I might be doing some light overclocking. One of the goals is to build a sturdy rig, that will be upgradeable in the future. Ok so here are the parts I have choosen ASUS Sabertooth Z77 Motherboard ASUS Matrix Platinum Radeon HD 7970 Intel Core i7-3770K Ivy Bridge Corsair 16GB DDR3 1600MHz (CL9) 2x8 Vengean Microsoft Windows 8 Corsair Cooling+ Hydro H100i Corsair C70 Vengeance Any suggestion to a SSD?? what brand/size/speed etc etc. Im re-using my current PSU Corsair 750W Hope someone will be able to help, so I can get the parts ordered ASAP :thumbup:

I must agree regarding the noise. The more light, the sharper the image. However I really like the zoom feature. Even though it isnt how you percept it in RL, it gives a virtual sence of wearing something in front of your eyes. And could be a way of giving a better sence of a narrow FOV. I know a RL Viper pilot and he said they never use nvg's during refuel because of the limited FOV (even when all external lights on the tanker is off). Small bug detected when you turn the brightness all the way down, the NVG goes blank!!!

Im finally satisfied after a few more tweaks :thumbup: This is by far one of the best mods made for DCS I believe I nailed the "correct" colour for the NVG, also I made the circle a little bit bigger and the frame a little bit more narrow. Dont like looking through a straw :D nvd.rar
