  1. the drivers for the U70 I use are from Displaylink. You can find them on this site:http://www.displaylink.com/support/index.php I run win7 64bit. I use Xpadder to bind the key input of LEAVU to the Cougar MFD pack. It is possible to use the U70 as shkval in Black Shark, check out this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=50425 grts
  2. Yes you are right, they are samsung U70s.They fit quite good behind the Cougar MFD frames.Only on the top side, they come out a little low,but that's not really an issue to me.The pic shows what I mean. hope this helps for you to make a decision grts
  3. A video of my setup. This software rocks!
  4. Trailer looks nice thanks
  5. hey, I have 2 samsung u70s that I had first planned to use in combination with the cougar MFD pack for the LEAVU2 project that will work with FC2. This is allready set up. But when I saw this thread I thought I might aswell use my U70s for DCS Black Shark also. I followed your guide and now I have the Shkval landscape oriented on my first U70,and the abris portrait oriented on the second. I have to stick to windowed mode, but the fps drop isn't that big I thought it would be. I've also used the tweaking guide from Frazer. The game is playable ,sometimes some +-20 fps over big cities and airfields with shkval enabled, but overall 25-30fps. Thank you for your guide,it helped me a lot to set up my multi-monitor configuration. greets:)
  6. According to producer Matt Wagner of The Fighter Collection / Eagle Dynamics, they've worked with Thrustmaster to fully support the MFD Cougar Pack in their upcoming DCS: A-10C Warthog flight sim. An examination of the MFD Cougar Pack will reveal that the F-16s MFDs are very similar to the Multifunction Color Displays (MFCDs) in the A-10C. According to Matt, DCS: A-10C Warthog will automatically recognize the MFD Cougar Pack and will configure them automatically to replicate the A-10C MFCDs in the simulation. A reason more to look forward to DCS Warthog. Thanks Wags:)
  7. A point to take into account: the Cougar MFD pack has no programming software(at this time). It's ment to bind the buttons in the game options menu. After googling and testing a few programs to map buttons to keybindings of LEAVU,I found a reasonable good solution . A program called Xpadder 5.3.This software detects gamepads and joysticks and other gaming products and allows to map the buttons to keyboard values. It detected the 2 F16 MFDs without a problem. Mapping the keys for LEAVU was very easy this way. The version I used was freeware. link: http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Xpadder-Download-45445.html Greets:)
  8. I downloaded the update.It is solved ;) thnx
  9. No problem, thank you for making the software:)
  10. My lcds were delivered today,so I was able to set everything up and test how they would work in combination with the Cougar MFD pack and LEAVU2 software. I made a video,to show that it works. on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch#videos=5NKgjMX9UC4&v=7H3S1GTro0E
  11. I have mapped the keys of Leavu2 to my Cougar MFD Pack. In a few weeks I will have 2 x 7inch monitors to place behind the Cougar frames. I have made a short video to show it works, sorry for the bad quality. When I have my lcds I will make a new video, with a better camera:) Thank you for making this possible. here is the youtube link:
  12. The video shows it nicely, awesome work Yoda. Thank you very much:)
  13. I don't understand much of it,but I saw the word "solution":) grt
  14. What doesn't kill us ,makes us stronger:)
  15. That rocks! It will definitely do the trick, very much appreciated how fast you came up with a solution to implement this in you project. Can't wait for FC 2.0 and Leavu2. cheers
  16. I should have read the information on the first page of this topic a little better:) I don't know much about programming, but I think I understand more how Leavu2 works now. No frame looks good and would look even better on my monitors behind the cougar MFD. Its an awesome program.Opens up a large range of possibilities. Would be great if the keyboard was one of those possibilities. I appreciate your work very much.
  17. That would be great, thank you for considering this option! I hope there is someone who can write this in java, it would be a great utility for people who also have the Cougar MFD pack and have monitors to support this ,it would make the purchase of both systems(cougar MFD and 7inch lcd's) worthwile, and would render a nice sim-immersion for the F15C in FC 2.0 in the link I've provided in my previous post, they seem to use http://www.displaylink.com/support/downloads.php as driver for the monitors, but for extracting the F-16 MFD they use the falcon MFD extractor wich I think is made for falcon 4 only. https://www.assembla.com/wiki/show/dzFSB262yr3iHVabIlDkbG Anyway, thank you for making this a perhaps(possible) feature of Leavu2. And also my best wishes for 2010 for the DCS and Lockon developer-team and the DCS/lockon community. grt _________________
  18. Thanks for the information, too bad I allready paid for my two 7inch lcd's. But also ,that's why I would use the Cougar MFD pack,to program the buttons to work with the mfd image on my monitors. grt
  19. Great job with this project! I have a Cougar MFD pack and will soon have 2 x 7inch lcd monitors. Would it be possible to have the buttons on the 2 mfd frames working with the mfd presented on the lcd monitors(monitors placed behind Cougar frames)? It is possible for F4 but could it be possible for Lockon FC 2.0 with leavu2? for reference: http://forum.virtualthunderbirds.com/viewtopic.php?t=3096 It would be great and since your leavu2 mfds are based on the F-16 mlu, this could maybe be a plus? thank you
