If you look at the standoff maximum effective range of the HARM missile,the A10C is still very effective at CAS.If the enemy makes more S400 Sams,make more HARMS.With a good F16/F18 joint effort of the air force and navy,anything is possible.Also the S400 only have 4 missiles at once at disposal,BIG EXPENSIVE SOVIET missiles,with highly exagerated capabilities.The time between launch is about 13 seconds,the maximum range is 13km vertically launched,maximum speed is mach 4,5.A warthog can fly above 13km altitude to throw a laser guide JDAM as well.Make a Maverick missile with a greater fuel capacity as well.The only thing necessary is AIR COVER,AIR SUPREMACY.Have HARMS clear the way,you have warthogs finishing the job.THe F35 is simply waste of expenditure,and it is failing miserably.

The only thing I for one know for sure: The constant ownage of F15F's of the F35 and also the F22 at RED FLAG speaks far more than all the Lockheed Martin boasting of anything but real results.

Cobra847...I have a remark on something I have read: Cat shots should be done with the AICS ramps in STOW, ensuring the ramps are locked in their stowed position and do not drop unexpectedly! In the NATOPS Manual it is written: CAUTION! � DO NOT takeoff with the INLET RAMPS switches in STOW. Hydraulic power is on and may drive the ramps out of the stow locks during certain servocylinder failure modes causing an engine stall. Just to make sure,hope you don't mind, I am curious,maybe you are mentioning it will be like this IN -Game,or IRL as well? I have no clue really ,but the NATOPS Manual holds a lot of details,so it seems to me.Or is it like this for land base take-offs only? For that matter,this seems to be a big project,and It is going to be a very cool addition to this amazing Ed Forums Simulator series,no one should ever forget about the F14,because it was the best air superiority the NAVY ever had. RCS reduction is made by TAILLESS concepts.If you look at a B2 RCS and compare it to an F35 RCS picture,you will see that the B2 has only horizontal radar deflection.From above,below and same level.If you look at an F35 from above,you will immediately see the two canted tails.Also you will see rest of the tail.The canted TAIL STABILIZERS are deflecting radar energy at an azimuth angle comparable to that of vertical stabilizers,like that of an F16.The canted tails create more INDUCED DRAG,with the result of acceleration and speed performance reduction.Also,when you look at the canted tails from an above angle,you will see that the radar energy is actually deflected towards the above of the aircraft,therefore making it more detectable from an above angle.If you look at an F35 from below,you will also see the TAIL ELEVONS.IF you compare an F35 with no external hardpoints and an F16 with 2 fuel tanks,you will see that the RCS will only be reduced by 0,08%.This is hugely neglectable,especially when you consider amplitude of a RADAR BEAM.

I have this monster in 1:1 airsoft replica.Had fun with it during my dedicated airsoft time.It doesn't function anymore,but never really used it very much. For mapping the keys, I use a program called Xpadder,you can dl it for free,just do a google search.This program detects the Cougar MFD pack and you can program the key inputs. I will add my keybindings in this post,to view them,use notepad. These bindings are set to use with Xpadder and LEAVU2.Just allocate the key bindings of LEAVU to the profile you make in Xpadder.Then you load the profile for the Cougar mfd.
