  1. I only need one to add to my F18. Anyone else here only need one?
  2. Awesome work. Any chance getting a higher resolution image of your switch mapping in post #6? Keep up the great work!
  3. OB? I assume I'm on stable because it's not showing up. I guess I'll wait. My thrustmaster warthog joystick stopped working anyway. :( It's broken.
  4. Ok, I bought it but it does not show up in my module manager. There is also no A-10C II listed. What do I need to do?
  5. I understand the sale is over, but where can I buy these plans? The links area all to imgur.
  6. I am playing with the Oculus Rift. I just played my first night mission in the a-10C 'The Enemy Within' campaign. I figured out how to get the NVG on and adjust the gain but no matter what I did the MFCD's were unreadable. Most of the cockpit was unreadable. The Hud was OK after some adjustment. I adjusted the light settings as best I could and tried to tweak the gain but there seemed to only be a few settings on the gain from full black to full white. I went on you tube and there are some videos that show the MFCD's legible with NVGs turned on but non seem to show it in VR. Am I missing something? Or is this just an issue in VR? Also, I noticed that the radio and labels do not show up when the NVG are active. Bug? Or by design? Again, is this just a VR problem? Thanks,
  7. What happened to "F18 drawing by Stang" thread? My bookmark returns an "Invalid thread specified" error. What happened to "F-18 drawings by Stang" thread? I've been following it for a long time. now its gone. Could his drawings be ready for release? Otherwise, why was the thread removed?

  9. Hi, I am located in Laval, just north of Montreal. I am interested in your triplehead2go. is it still available? Thanks,
  10. Hi, I just received my brand new thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS. It is great. All of the buttons feel excellent except the pinky switch on the throttle. It is very wobbley. It is no where near as stiff as the rest of the switches on the throttle. I can move it around quite a bit with my finger before it actually switches. So much in fact that it feels like in may be: 'switch forward' 'switch backward' 'push button' similar to the CMS switch. 1. Does anyone else have this problem or is this standard? 2. Is it possible to test the inputs of each button. The software interface for my old X52 would illustrate the button that was depressed. Is that possible with the wartog hotas? After paying this much I'm expecting a superior product and may request a replacement for the throttle if this wobbley pinky switch is not "standard" Any thoughts or comment are appreciated.
  11. Christ. It will take me longer to figure out the controls and/or program my X52 than it will to learn to fly the A-10. This should have been mentioned in some of the reviews I read.
  12. is it possible to adjust the keyboard controls while in a game. It takes a very long time to quit a game and open the controls only to adjust one or two settings. Is it at least possible to view the controls while in game? I continue to search.
  13. Sorry Chandawg, this doesnt really answer your question but I just ordered the game and was reading the GUI manual. Page 15 states: MONITORS. DCS allows you to output the video to one, two, or three seperate monitors. Options include: 1 Camera. All video will be displayed on a single monitor (default) 3 Cameras. Video will be equally spread between three separate monitors. Shkval+Camera+ABRIS. This option allows the Shkval image to be displayed on the left monitor, the default camera on the center monitor, and the ABRIS display on the right monitor. Shkval+Camera. This is a two monitor setup that allows the Shkval video image to be displayed on the left monitor and the default camera to be displayed on the right monitor. Doesn't this setting take care of all that? If not, am I going to still have to manually modify the settings as you are doing? Cheers,
  14. Jumpin Jesus! That is a wealth of information you have provided. I only had the flight manual for the E model and lots of separate pics. Alot of this information is for the A/b/c/d and I am wondering if the cockpit dimensions are the same for hte E/F? My instumentation is for the E/F but the these files contain fantastic side and top scale views of the outside contours of the aircraft. My bet is its close enough. I can fit E instrumentation into an A cockpit.... who the hell would know the difference. lol This is what I am working on: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=36528
  15. any chance of getting some info on the F-18E cockpit? I have scaled drawings of all of the panels but not for the cockpit layout. What I need are angles from the for side ledges and front panels. Basically, general envelope dimensions for internal structural components. These are very hard to scale off drawings. Thanks
  16. Well, I decided to model my office to see if my pit would fit into it .... IF or when I build it. As you can see it appears that it will. One item of research to do is the projector throw. My screens are 60X45 and the projector lens is 98 from the screen. I would like to run three 1280X1024 beamers. I need to get started on the LHS panel and the angled forward panels. Switches also need to be modeled.....still LOTS of work to do. As I said, I'm not sure when I will be able to build this because I live in an apartment and don't have a shop. All I have is this office, and you can see the size and shape of it. Is there a market for a kit such as this. For instance, if a kit were to include 1:1 scale images of all of the components and drawings showing the assembly. Would anyone buy it? Cheers
  17. Yes, It is Catia V5 See the attached images for tonights work.
  18. I thought I would post a couple of pics of the F-18 Pit that I am designing. Not sure when it will be built. Its something that I work on from time to time. Lots of work left to do. I will occasionally post updates.
  19. Surely ... at least ... someone can tell me if i can run BS over a network !
  20. I am considering building a 3 projector set up for BS and LoMac. There will also be at least 2 screens for internal instrumentation. Can anyone tell me if this is possible either: 1. One major machine to run the 3 projectors on a TH2G. This will show outside views. one or two minor machines to display internal displays and instrumentation. All of this coordinated over a network. OR 2. Three minor machines to run 3 projectors over a network. These will show outside views. one or two minor machines to display internal displays and instrumentation. All of this coordinated over a network. This type of setup is possible on FSX but is it possible in LoMac and BS? I figure I can do either for less than $4000. Thanks for any input.
