Just did the latest update and now only 50 commands show up on the bottom of the edit profile list. Went back and downloaded the full profiles, copied and pasted and still only 50 commands show and the F14 addon does not seem to be working. Oh well, another good Friday update.

Well in the hot air start for single player, I am doing something wrong as the coordinates are not in the computer. will try again today. In single player hot start do you have to do anything with Jester importing the WPs etc with the Jester wheel? I thought Spudknocker did something to get them in the game in his video.

draconus Are you saying that in a hot single player start and in all cases with multiplayer, you have to have Jester to input the coordinates? what is the jester command to input on a hot single player start?

In single player, you can just create your WP, FP, IP, etc on the F10 map and just go into the plane and use them without "importing" them. However, in multiplayer, you have to tell jester to import the points before you can use them. Is the above correct? I could only find some videos on the above but nothing in writing.

Sometimes it goes back by itself and sometimes I have to use a joystick button for Lalt and f1.

I am using Helios so I run the game on monitor 1 and helios on monitor 2. When I say Jester..Options, the left half of the wheel appears on the right side of monitor 1. How do I change that so the wheel is centered on monitor 1? In windows, the monitors are configured side by side, each 1920x1080.

Where is the option located? For both of these is the 'Shortcut is invoked only when all buttons are released' option checked in the Select Joystick Buttons screen for the TX6 release action?

Hollywood That may be so, but Bailey's profile also contains some great regular plane commands that are nice to have. As an aside, with my donation, Bailey just bought your promo package so we will get his input soon.

I have been using VP for awhile. I also bought the VP add-on for Jester, however I prefer to have the Jester wheel so I have tried Bailey's F14 profile by means of the "include commands from other profiles" box in the options menu. I have done this with Bailey's F18 profile for VA for some time and have had no issues. However, when I try to do this with Bailey's F14 profile, VP (and Bailey's F14 profile) stop working. I don't know why there appears to be a difference between using Bailey's F14 and F18 profile, but there appears to be so. Any thoughts?

While I like the CM2 grip, it states: "Not Suitable for Desktop Use" so it is not an option as I am a desktop user. that is why I bought a WarBRD base.

I forgot to mention that I am currently using a WarBRD base with my WH joystick and that is why I am thinking about the VPC Constellation ALPHA-R instead of my WH joystick.

Is the VPC Constellation ALPHA-R good for airplane sims as I do not play any space sim games?

I am a little confused on the use of fixpoints when using harpoons. I understand that with a HPTP, the bearing direction begins at the HPTP, but such is not the case for a fixpoint. So when do you use fixpoints? Is it just used as a reference point for your plane and other planes?

I don't understand something. I updated my VP and did the control a, delete paste dance and all I got was the cancel button highlighted. my word count before and after the update remained at 968. What am I doing wrong? Should I just reinstall the entire VP dll?

I do not use the realistic slewing option for the Mavericks so I do not have to hold down the TDC Depress to slew the mavericks. However, I may be wrong, but it seems to me that you MUST use the realistic slewing option to slew the Walleyes. Am I correct? If so, I will ask for the option to be consistent across the weapons. EDIT: I may be wrong. unrealistic slewing seems to work also with the Walleye. PS: I have found the best way to use the Walleyes is to locate the target with the TPOD, designate the target, SCS depress and then go to the Walleye screen, uncage and you should be right on the target.

I have tried to start both F18 battle group delta and TF-74 Hornet and cannot get it right. Will rest today and retry perhaps Monday. The problems must be that I cannot comprehend the instructions. The instructions seem to be a little different for these two campaigns.

I am getting the following error message: The system cannot find the path specified. C:\Users\13057\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\Tech\DCE\Missions\Campaigns\FA-18C Battle Group Delta> I know that it is there, but cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

Good idea but I could not get it to work with the attached mission. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have downloaded a campaign and the first mission has a lot of needed info. However, I cannot seem to copy the briefing in order to paste it to notepad and print it out. I unzipped the mission, but still could not locate the written briefing. Is there any way to do this? I also tried to copy the briefing in the mission editor, but no joy either.
