Gizzy, Thanks a lot for the script. I do need your help. I want to basically map any 3-way switches to perform 3 actions. For DCS Huey, I would like to map the Autopilot switch on the Hog Throttle to the Huey Armament Control Panel to (Up - Armed, Middle - Safe, Down - Off). I'm going to do the same for the FLAPS as well. I looked at rABSO's idea but I'm not sure if he's doing the same thing that I'm trying to do. Thanks, Gunny

The mic makes a big difference and I like the mic on the turtle beach X12 and it's not really expensive. I think you can even try them out at either Target or Best Buy. FYI, I also have a separate mic that is not part of a headset and I find myself keep going back to the X12.

I think also extending your cyclic helps with stability especially hovering. I didn't believe until I got my extension today from SimPit, just google simpit and it will come up. Tomas made an excellent extension and his service is A +. After finally receiving mine today, I can honestly say that I have been missing out on precision flying. The cyclic is much more precise and easier on my arm. No more muscling it to flight level. Also, I didn't want to do any crazy mods to my Warthog so this was the best option for me. Tomas, thanks again for a great product!

Crane Object Collision I have the opposite issue. I can land on the crane with just the end tip of the skid. I crashed later trying to land in between the crane support cables in the end...waiting for my Warthog extension from Simpit to arrive for hopefully for better control. :D See track file attached. Good deal for them as I already purchased two games... and I don't want to buy the game three times as much as I like to support ED. I also missed the sale as I would gladly pay the 9.99 if I had seen it even though paying three times for the same game is silly to me. In any case there plenty of other Sims for me to enjoy....I just thought I'd ask.

Hi Matt, Is possible to trade my Shark 1 and Shark 2 Upgrade serials for Shark 2 serial? This would eliminate me having to install shark 1. I'm busy Uh-1 right now but i'd like to still fire BS2 sometime. Two licenses for one is a good deal for you guys and win win for both of us. :D

Since we have the Uh-1h it only makes sense to compliment it with the Ah-1g. if BST would have done the Uh-1n then I can see they might make the Whiskey or Zulu model. With that said, I'm with you, I'd much preferred the Ah-1w but I will buy any helo BST or Eagle makes. I wish Eagle would release the Ah-64a they initially started awhile back, but maybe someday we will get some modern bird. On the bright side Combat-helo still looks like a possibility but for now I'm enjoying the Huey very much and I'm sure I'll enjoy the Ah-1g even more when it comes out.

Hey Tharos, I didn't really think about all those technical stuff that comes into play. I agree about the two different sim w/ two different goals. I see your point. In the end, I'm just happy that we have both to enjoy!

That's the thing...I'm not talking about a total realistic war simulation because the market is just not there for these guys to make money. I tihnk BIS did a great job in giving us a total package as far as a war sim goes. I love to fly Helos that is why I bought Blackshark but after awhile, I get bored with it. I'm enjoy more of the flight experience w/ Arma 2 and although I wish the Helos were more in depth like DCS I am having more fun being part of the battlefield. Some times, I get to fly gunships but most of the time I'm just transporting troops and medivacs and that is ok for me. Of course like everyone else here I'm waiting for DCS:AH-64 but my dream is to be able to fly Helos in an environment where we get DCS flight modelling w/ clickable cockpit in a combination of BIS Arma 2 battlefield where it is not totally realistic but somewhat realistic and yet fun. I think Arma 2 delivers this. I don't expect ED to make this happen I only wish there were such a combination. I do think that ED should have included the AH-1W in their future though instead of the AH-64A. IMHO, the AH1-W would be more fun to fly than the AH-64A. If you're going to simulate the Apache, I think it should be the Longbow version instead as I think alot of folks like the electornics.

Thanks Viper. I'll give it a try again. I did that before but it did not pick up throttle...but I just manually recalibrated the Cougar so I'll give it one more try.

I really want to enjoy this magnificent sim but I can't seem to be able to map my collective to the Cougar Throttle. Right now, my collective is the Range Knob. I tried mapping the Collective to JoySlider1 but no joy. Someone w/ Cougar setup please help me. I'm using Viper's Cougar profile. thanks, Gunny

Best Buy sku# for BS: 9300302 It is easier when you call to give them the SKU then to tell them what it is and they have limited copies so call and they will hold it for you for a day. Hope that heps. Gunny

Dude, I'm merely asking for something that is already in BS and practically the OH cockpit looks like half of the AH-64 so I would assume not much more work would be done to make this flyable.

How about this one? I don't think it needs to be that complicated right? I mean you already have the flight model in BS already right? Not much more work to add this as flyable along w/ your AH-64 release, no? Don't spank me too hard for asking...LOL I'm not a programmer so I don't know the work involved...just wishful thinking. :D thanks, Gunny
