  2. I agree too for MSAA off but I let AF to 8 or 16. It doesn't cost a lot of perfs Edit: I just noticed signifiant improvement in vr by recreating shaders !
  3. Hi, Try to let 1.0 pid in the game and do settings in steamvr in place. Check you are in direct mode, override supersampling between 150 and 200. Check in developer tab allow asynchrone reprojection is check and uncheck allow interleaved reprojection. Uncheck perf heuristic too. I seams it work better like that
  4. No it was a wish but with some tweaks I get better results with 2 cards than 1 but not in vr.
  5. I take advantage of your message to clarify my previous post : I just bought a vive pro and I never really tried vr before. It's still something incredible ... the feeling of flying through the mountains is just amazing. Sometimes I have the impression to take G [emoji23] Soon as I put the Vive, I can't take it off [emoji12] It's really frustrating to fight against fps. A natively vr dcs would really be a big jump in the mainstream simulation industry. The vive pro (the only I know) have great capabilities. When I try higher supersampling settings image quality is very very good. Maybe a 3rd party software tool will help in the futur but I don't regret and I will keep it.

  8. Hello ! Same here, I got a Vive Pro with 6850k@4.4Ghz/32gb/m2ssd/1080 sli and it's quite unplayable. It's really sad because sensations are here but it's too ugly. It's seams defered shading and antialiasing are not friends... without SLI we will wait years before having a good single card. Even a gtx 2080 will be far for what we need...   11. Yes I did a new test with it and it work great when I set "maximum pre rendered frames" to 1. I ll keep this one too !
  12. OK I confirm no flickering at all with your SLI profil. I didn't see any difference in performance with the crysis/arma profil. It's strange. I took a screenshot of tasks manager with your : Edit: your right, there's a performance loos with mine. There are many "high fps" profils working very well like Dirt4 or Batman: Arkham Origins but in my test ---> immediate flickering edit2 : take a look this one ---> 0x080004F1 (Mirror's Edge: Catalyst) work better and no flickering

  14. Are you sure it turn off sli ?... it's possible, i saw a very little loss of performance... i will take a look ! Thanks edit: No it seems that this SLI profil don't shut off SLI for me (around 75-80% on each GPU) and also working good

  16. aaaahh ok ! I didn't ask you because i was pretty sure you saw it lol BUT I also saw a thread somewhere who said that 2.5 is not a true fullscreen but a bordeless windowed mode due to game engine so i I thought you talk about this sorry for my english lol
  17. I spent hours looking for the parameter responsible of clouds flickering and I'm sure it's this one, regardless of all the others. I created a mission at dawn spring morning with clouds at 6000 feets and I was able to reproduce the flickering all the time with immediate result. I changed every parameters in all ways possible AFR/AFR2/SFR, sync, AA, etc... and always same flickering. I saw that the intensity (the speed of blinking) was in connection with the SLI COMPATIBILITY BITS (DX10 DX11) and finally, with this setting (crysis/arma3/ etc ...) the problem has disappeared instantly
  18. I'm pretty sure i had it one time without sli. I don't find too. It start when i recreate shaders but i put back the old one and same problem.

  21. I tried alt-enter but it introduces hard stutters for me. I think each settings are very personnals cause of hardware. I tried and retried and now I m very happy with this ones. Also, since I have 32GB RAM I shutdown the pagefile and increase the preload radius to 300.000 in the "options.lua". It works very good for me. edit : I think G-sync is a problem for me too so I switched to fast sync and it works better

I found this elsewhere : For 8Mbit down and 2Mbit up connections: if not net then net = {} end net.download_speed = 1024*1024 net.upload_speed = 256*1024 or For 2Mbit down and 1Mbit up: if not net then net = {} end net.download_speed = 256*1024 net.upload_speed = 128*1024 Adjusted to my bandwidth it works perfectly for me.
