  1. ITGC Roster updated to include =ITGC= Sukhoi as a full time squadron member
  2. Hey buddy !! during the warm up time, there is no emission. It will start jamming only after the warm up is complete and the light & the E.C.M symbol on the HUD is stable. Further, to disappear you don't need to have E.C.M. The biggest trouble that E.C.M gives is remembering to switch it off. So if you forget to switch it off, you might get into trouble. Have a look at this manual that i created on fighting in an Su-27. Might help you a little. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3066037/
  3. hey Ironhand !! Drona ( erstwhile 159th Kunz ) who joined our squadron speaks very highly of you. Thank you for taking out the time and reading the manual. At some point every flanker pilots have used your videos and site for learning. As Stuge has said this is a "simple" manual and was prepared for the new recruits in my squadron to teach them the basics about about air to air combat. I, did not know if the community had such a thing so i released it for them as well. However, i have not been able to fly in the last week or two and would be grateful if the results of the testing were made available to us. Also, there seems to be a loss in the thrust in Su-27 in the new Update because of some ambient temp dependency ? (told by somebody else). So some more testing is warranted it seems.
  4. hey man !! thanks for checking it out !! some of the information has been deleted for making the manual public and is available only to the squadron while some has been censored with black and blurred images. The manual is for a multiplayer environment. At the time i wrote the manual the limiter switch wast available for binding i shall add it now, thanks for pointing it out. Personally, i have never used cobra in combat so that is why i left it out. Ill add your suggestions as soon as possible !! Thanks again !!
  5. Hey Stuge !! you might be correct here. The Corner speed that i have taken account as 540-650 is because it is easier to sustain those speed at moderate to high loading and the turning radius to be as low as possible. There is nearly a 300 m difference in the turning radius at 850 Km/hr. As you said, " Go faster than 850 km/h - and your turn suffers again (If you're heavy, the total drag hurts your turn rate. If you're light, you will over-G or your airspeed will increase uncontrollably.)" Keeping all of the above in mind. I would rather sustain that 600 Km/hr and maintain my short turn radius than be at 800 + and keep on Over G and be practically blind or be at near blackouts. But in any case i do see what you mean, and the manual will be updated after we test it out. And further as you have said there cannot be just a single figure for the Corner speed.A lot of factors have to be taken into account ( Height, radius, Speed, Loading, turn rate etc). Ill try and find the perfect balance between all of them !!
  6. Hey Stuge !! thanks a lot for going through it. Feels good when pilots like you and frostie take out the time to read it. With regard to the chart, it is directly from the DCS manual for 27 and seems consistent with flight performance. Please let me know if you find any difference. We will however, test with your chart as well !! Thanks .
  7. Hopefully it will !! if you need any help just contact any ITGC pilot that you see. We will be happy to help you out!!
  8. Thanks a lot frostie !! I am sure you must have already have all the information ;)
  9. Had been working on it for sometime for our cadets & Operational Pilots at ITGC Air Corps. Pilots sometimes, specially the new pilots develop a habit of trying to sneak in the valleys and getting those ET kills. In the long run this might affect their fighting ability when you cant get those kills in and survive the combat in plain areas. See if the manual makes sense to you. ill keep updating whatever declassified stuff i can offer from the squadron's testing. All the best & have fun. Good hunting gentlemen. https://www.dropbox.com/s/tauvffqhwndtwcp/DCS-Su27%20Operator%27s%20Manual..pdf?dl=0 Updated 16 Dec 2017 DCS-Su27 Operator's Manual..pdf

  11. Congratulations goes out Stuge & Razer for the win. Thanks a lot to the T.A.W Squadron for organizing the event. Also, a shout out to all our opponents. Everyone put up a great show and lastly i would like to congratulate my boys for putting up a great fight. Good show gentlemen !!
  12. Hey decoy !! Due to some official commitment I'll have to bow out of the tournament. Apologies for the mess.
  13. Thanks to all of the Squadrons who participated in this year's SATAC specially the Lock in Greece, 104th Phoenix and the 36 STORM . It was our first SATAC and we had a lot of take aways. Sadly, We were mired by woeful connections due to heavy thunderstorms and preventive power shortages throughout the competition. Couple of our boys did not have power for couple of days but most of them happily used whatever power was there in our systems for SATAC. On behalf of my Squadron we would like to thank 51st PVO for organizing and giving us the opportunity to fly with such amazing Squadrons and pilots. A big thank you also goes out to 104Cdt_Tiger, Microvax & Moltar for all the wonderful streams and putting up with our timeouts Lastly, I would like to congratulate my boys on an excellent performance and conduct, throughout the matches. Good luck to the remaining teams. We shall see you soon again
  14. Thanks to you Panthir !! Your boys fought very well and looking forward to seeing more of you guys !! We made a lot of friends with our first SATAC so we have got 51st to thank for it again.
  15. Thanks for the kind words Frostie. We learnt a lot from our bout with 104th and we will surely bring our best. With regard to the format, its absolutely fine and you guys have done a tremendous job. Its not easy to coordinate with so many people, half of whom don't even speak the same language. Kudos to you guys for an excellent job done !! Further with regard to the weapon employment. I have never seen any pilot worth his salt complain about the weapon that the opposing teams fly with. Its how you use your own capabilities to the best possible extent to attain your operational Objectives.
  16. Hey man !! I have put my callsign as NA by mistake. Please consider it as =ITGC=Verticle Charlie.Sorry for the inconvenience.
  17. Signing my self up for 1 V 1 and 2 v 2 with ITGC Cougar with Su-27
  18. thanks for the consideration. Looking forward to it !!
  19. Hey guys !! we have one request. If possible it is requested that we may be given 1800 Z Slot so that our strength is at Max. In India we have a tendency to work on weekends as well, therefore the 1300z & 1500z Will be very hard for our pilots. In light of the above, it is requested that we may please be allotted 1800z Slots.
