  1. Hi Khopa! I don't really post on the forums, more just read\lurk :) But I felt compelled to post what amazing work you are doing with this dynamic campaign application, I want you to know it is really appreciated and adds so much to the DCS experience. I hope you continue to feel motivated by this fantastic project, because it really does bring something "extra" to DCS World. As much as I love playing through what the great content mission designers on here are creating (Looking forward to Baltic Dragon's F/A-18C campaign), this provides me with the "Never the same, but always engaging" experience I have been looking for since Falcon 4.0 Great job and keep up the awesome work! :pilotfly: All the best,
  2. Greetings from a very happy Huey customer! I just wanted to chime in and say a huge well done to the developers of the UN Pilot Campaign. This is probably one of the most immersive and enjoyable campaigns I have played through thus far with any DCS product. I felt a part of the story and the environment. I loved the fact that a wide range of the Hueys capabilities were explored from simple drop offs of supplies and troops to using the full armament of the Huey in a more aggressive role. The focus appeared to be on the day to day duties of a pilot, which is refreshing change and very enjoyable. And as for getting a mission with landing on the back of a warship in there... that was brilliant! I actually even don't mind not firing a shot in a mission, because it felt just... well... right!! I hope whoever was involved in making this campaign makes another one, because that was a great experience. Also a big well done to the development team of the Huey, it really is a joy to fly the Huey in a simulated environment like this! I know it is in beta and there are still a few kinks to work out like VRS for example, but the level of quality that already exists is simply mind blowing. Good work, this is keeping well on the track of the DCS standard in my opinion! I will be buying more of your modules when they come out with very little hesitation! :)
  3. Hi fellas, I have to admit I am a bit of a tard when it comes to Russian ATG munitions (Apart from the missiles, im fine with those) and what their best uses are. NATO everything I am ok with. Now as I understand it the RBK weapons are cluster bombs. Ok thats fine. But are these suitable for busting tanks? I have tried the RBK-250 as this is specified as being multipurpose, while they seem great for trucks, no matter how many I drop or how accurate my aim is. I just cant seem to bust tanks with them. So what (in your opinion\experience) unguided munitions that the SU25T carries would be suitable for engaging groups of MBT class level armored targets. Any response appreciated :) Only reason I ask is I play often on the 104th server and a number of their missions specify no guided ATG munitions and ive been forced to wean myself off of the vikhr and KH25's :D
  4. Yeah was happening to me on your server last night, I must have been popping in and out on the server log list like a salary man in a brothel. I was more concerned that you chaps might have thought I was buggering around and not playing properly! :)
  5. Last night in MP I nearly suffered this thing they call "Rage Quit" It was awful!
  6. No issue as a KA-50 if you stick to the weeds, there are plenty of hidey holes that make it hard for fighter pilots to shoot at you. Sneaking around like a ninja means im yet to be shot down by a fighter pilot, mainly because I dont get caught doing the dirty on the groundies :) Dont sit in one spot either, move around! KA-50s get shot down when their pilots get lax and careless. So you know why, Its how you fly, Not the other guy, So dont be sly, Change how you try, Go in real shy, Else you might die :)
  7. Hi mate, I love flying the Black Shark and would be willing to fly through anything you want. I must say first though, because of my job as an IT Consultant, I am away quite a bit, so I cant guarantee being available at short notice. If this is not an issue for you, feel free to let me know and I will help you out :)
  8. Ok just tried it out on the blackshark... best flight in the shark ever, so bloody precise its untrue!!! :) Im using the paddle switch as my trimmer and that works a charm :)
  9. Thanks guys :) It turned up today! I ordered on Saturday!!!! Very impressed with this piece of kit, definatley best stick ive ever bought, if only from a quality impression so far!

  11. Thats very helpful thank you! Very clever idea with the throttle for the KA-50! I like that!! Yeah I use TIR, so I will map trim accordingly thanks!
  12. Hi all, I have got a new Thrustmaster Warthog on the way, due early this week. I just wanted to ask those of you who already own one, are there any things that I need to be aware of before setting up? Or any hot tips for a configuring to the DCS environment? I would also be keen to hear from any shark flyers who use this stick on their experiences?! For example, which button do you use for the trimmer switch? Cheers
  13. Hopped on the server last night to play these as a KA-50 pilot, loved every minute of it! Great missions!
  14. Thanks fellas, it was worth a shot :)
  15. Thanks for such a swift response :) I had thought that might have been the case, but its always worth an ask! Now the idea of an invincible helicopter has got me thinking how ever. Could potentially said invincible helicopter(s) be set as "Late Activation" but a "Attack Unit" command assigned to the AAA unit for that object? It just got me thinking because I know (Or have read) that Late Activation ground units will be driven around on the ground if it is in the way of active units which are moving. I which case could they potentially be targeted using a command?
