  1. Hi f4l0 Have you been able to take a look at that? I now tested, its also affecting the stall shudder effect, but most of the time only when turning right. So the g-effect is the effect that it happens the most easily to. Next in line, seems the stall effect, but mostly when turning right only. Even when those two effects are dead all the other effects work 100%, like the speed brake shudder. So I would be pulling many g's, stalling, getting no effects, but the moment I pull speed brake, I get those shudders. If I close the speed brake again, no effects. If I pause DCS for a few seconds, and resume, everything is instantly fixed again. Until I do the next, long, 0g dive. So it seems to not be limited to the g-effect only. Could you, and possibly anyone else test and see if diving at 0g for about 5 - 7 seconds makes some of your effects (Especially g-effect) go away? (Any module, including helos, but I can very easily replicate with harrier and A-10C. (Happens in 2.1 also) Kind regards
  2. Ok, here is a short track. I did it without VR, hoping the track would be better, not sure if it matters. Seems whilst replaying the track, the problem is even worse. (Every time I watch the track, I get no feedback (With only the g-effect enabled, and with a threshold of 80). If whilst watching the track, I disable and re-enable the g-effect setting in SSA, the feedback kicks in. Can anyone else confirm from their side if they get the same? Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks again Kind regards A10CFeedback.trk
  3. Ok, I have installed the Beta, but its still the same. I am attaching two logs. Both in the A-10C, one for a pull upwards where I got feedback (Working) and one for a pull upwards where I did not get feedback. (The gains look comparable to me, although I am just guessing at what I am seeing.) I also checked the DCS Debug window when the "Issue" is happening. Again guessing, but is the G-Effect working off of the "Accel" line? If so, it is picking up accel from DCS. (I am attaching a snapshot of that when it was not working as well. Something else I found, is if I am in the middle of a pull upwards with zero feedback, and I pause DCS, wait a second or two, and then resume, the moment I resume the effect jumps to life. (In the same pull) Not sure if I can do anything else to help you track the issue, or if the issue is perhaps on my side? The easiest way I found to reproduce the issue is fly normally with A-10 (Only enable g-effect feedback), then just pull up about 3g (A few seconds until the nose is at say 30 degrees above the horizon), then push the nose down again at 0g, and repeat. For me, about 50% of the pulls have zero feedback. If someone else can also test and just confirm they are or are not getting the issue? Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Would really love for this to work well, as the g-effect is very alluring to me. Kind regards Quintin DCS Debug View.txt A-10C not working pull.txt A-10C Working Pull.txt
  4. Ah, I see. I think what I am experiencing is somehow across all the modules. It seems I can quite quickly get it to happen with any module. My request to the facebook group to get the beta is still pending, will post again once I tried the beta. Was that extract of the log any use? Could you see if anything weird happened towards the end? Kind regards
  5. Seems I can reproduce the issue in any module. I now took the Gazelle. Only enabled g-effect. When first starting off, everything works as expected, but it seems like after a long(ish) 0g state, the margins/gains? seems to move, and the effect completely disappears, sometimes only in certain directions. I used the "Log to screen" option in SSA, and after many tries got a scenario then I lift off, all is good (I pull some high G turns, get lots of feedback) then have a longish 0g state, and after that I get no feedback for g-effects. It logs a boat load of lines, so tried to get one where it happens quickly. (Attached output in text file) I hope that helps to see if its gains or something. Kind regards Gazelle G-Feeling stop working.txt
  6. Maybe its something on my computer. I just jumped into the F-5, and it is doing the same sort of. If I only enable the G-Effect effect, and go through a series of 0g dives, the effects randomly work / do not work in certain directions. Sometimes 8G pull would have zero feedback, but a lot of feedback in negative dive. Other dives I would have zero -G feedback, but lots of positive. Hoping the beta / reinstall will fix it. Will post afterwards. Let me know if anyone has anything they want me to try. Kind regards
  7. Hi, I just got my JetSeat today, and I am very excited by the added immersion. (I also play in VR, so it should be great) I installed SSA stable version, and fired up dcs. (2.1) Jumped into the huey, and everything feels great. (I don't have much to compare it to, but it all feels good. I set the main rotor force to 30, and the gforce to 80.) After that, I jump into the A-10C. Take off, get feedback from the tarmac and gear coming up, air brakes, GUN, all good. I adjust the engine feedback to 15, and the gforce to 80. Whilst playing around with the gforce effect, I found a possible issue. At first when taking off, the gforce works as expected. At about 2.0 to 2.5g, I get strong feedback. At 1g, just a slight rumble. I then went into a long (As long as I could before needing to pull up) 0g dive, and felt the "weightless-ness". Immediately after that dive though, the gforce feedback seemed a lot weaker. And its a bit random. Sometimes after the long 0g dive, I would get no gforce effect from the seat if uplling straight up (No effect to about 3 or 3.5g, and then all of a sudden a lot of feedback, but then the A-10c stalls anyway) and sometimes pulling up would still give feedback but I would get no feedback when fulling g's in a turn. (Sometimes even only in one direction, as in a turn to the left, strong feedback, but a turn to the right no feedback.) If I then do another dive, but instead of trying to stay at 0g in the dive, I dive as hard as I could (-1 or -1.5g) its as if the effects then get fixed again (Sometimes even feel amplified, as if they are overreacting to all g-effects.) I hope my description makes sense? Has anyone else noticed this? I am trying to get the beta version to see if that would be different, will post again if I do. tl;dr; Its as if when doing a long 0g dive, the geffects thresholds move and the effects are weaker/gone. And a higher -g dive drives the thresholds up. Thanks for making SSA, feels bad "complaining" about something we get for free. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this!! Kind regards
  8. With all the wonderful news we are getting the last few days, hearing Razbam confirm they are working on the 53 (And its possibly not super duper far away) would be the best icing on the cake ever!
  9. Are there any other youtubers / people that make vids that got Early-Early access? I know of Magz and devildog, are there any others? Cheers
  10. Is it just me / the NV, or does it look like the engine in the harrier that is landing @2:10 in the vid, is having a really bad night? (Looks like the compressor blades are touching the housing and making lots of sparks?) I don't know much about jet engines, but surely those blades should not touch the housing? Would be interesting to hear from some of our more experienced members :) Cheers Edit: Sorry if this is considered off topic.
  11. Awesome, thanks, that is a great chart. Did some digging, found the "NTRP 3.22-4-AV8B" document. Seems to outline weapons related course material for someone training on the AV-8B. (not sure though) It states this: SMECH-1431 1.0 * R RNAWST S Goal. Introduce transition profiles, heavyweight aircraft handling, and reactive weaponeering. Requirement. Perform 3 30-degree or 45-degree deliveries and 2 PGM deliveries: 1 level entry to a 45- or 30-degree dive delivery, 1 ramp entry to level delivery, and 1 ramp entry to a 45 or 30-degree dive delivery. Utilize WARP to generate weaponeering data including reactive weaponeering. Ordnance. 6 Mk-82 LD, 2 GBU-12. So it looks like 8 X 500lb class weapons are tested during training, and considered "heavyweight" I can live with 8 X GBU-12 ;) It also mentions gbu-12s on ITERs in another section. Here is a link to the doc if anyone is interested: http://www.marines.mil/Portals/59/Publications/NAVMC%203500.51A.pdf Cheers
  12. Awesome, thanks for the info guys! Sorry, I missed that document. I have checked the pocket guide, but did not see it. (I might have missed it) In what document can I find the possible loads? Thanks again!
  13. Yeah, I guess it won't be done now (relative peace time) but when the Russian horde* invades Nevada, I am pretty sure they will be loading as many as they can ;) *No offence to Russians According to Wikipedia (This could thus be wrong) it has a weapons payload of 9200lbs. If each gbu-12 is 500lb's, this allows for just over 18 gbu-12s in weight. I am sure the brackets etc also weight a few lbs, but it looks like 12 gbu-12s should be within the weight limits. (Obviously you would not be vstol'ing with that) Or is there something I am not considering? Also, the vid where Razbam is carrying 12 mk82's, and two a-a missiles should also indicate it could handle the weight? Realistic or not, I have this urge to have a fast(ish) tank busting bomb dropping machine. Hoping the AV-8B is that machine ;)
  14. Wow, I thought I would have to be happy with 4 gbu-12s! This is great news. I went looking at all the vids again that I could find, but could not find anywhere where there was more that a single gbu-12 on a pilon. I found some with a bunch of mk-82s. Would there be any reason why we would be able to load ters with mk-82's, but not a ter with gbu-12s? If we could carry 12 x gbu-12, it would be the best tank plinker ever! (Almost as much bombs as a A-10C, but about twice as fast! Sounds like a dream come true) Had high hopes for F/A 18 tank plinking, but there is a huge debate if 2 X gbu-12 would even be possible per pilon... Thanks
  15. I know the appropriate answer to my question is probably "Wait and see" but maybe someone can indulge my impatience: How many GBU-12 /38's will the harrier be able to carry in one go? (With a TGP pod attached also) Is there a possible load-out matrix for the version we are getting? Thanks!
  16. Thank you so much!!! This is awesome! Can see the entire panel in VR now. I just set the ratio to 5:4, left my resolution on 2560*1080. (I don't think the res setting matters, is seems to just be the ratio) Thanks again!! Cheers
  17. Any chance of getting an official response on if this will be a high detail controllable module, or just an AI asset? Of all the chopper names that have been thrown around the forms of "nice to have" or "I would like this" choppers, the CH-53 is my favorite. Love the size and look / attitude. Would make BlueFlag like servers more fun with its higher cruising speed that the awesome huey. (The huey is great, but 20 min of "boring flying" to get to a FARP or base is still 20 min...) 12 ish minutes seems a lot better! Hehe Basically just asking, should I abandon hopes of flying this in a year or two or three in DCS, or is there something brewing? ;)
  18. Yeah, problem is I have been feeling like that for the last three weeks, and every Friday I get a mild case of depression, so I am just trying to be realistic (Even pessimistic) to lessen the blow if its not this Friday. :smilewink:
  19. I know the chances are very slim, but that would make this the best weekend ever! I don't think I have ever wanted to part with $60 (Or whatever it ends up being) so badly!! :pilotfly:
  20. I also highly doubt that it would be possible, but just to help ED gauge interest, I will also add my +1. And a upgrade fee would be 100% justified :)
