  1. Could not resist any longer. My local shop somehow got stock of the MSI 2080 ti Gaming X Trio. Hopefully my Rift will be happier to give good fps with MSAA X 2 and some SS (Got 1080ti now, got the 2080ti to cater for the pimax 5k more than anything else. I am not a backer, hopefully they become available before the 3080ti!) Will post here a brief 1080ti vs 2080ti DCS VR. (Not planning to do extensive testing though)
  2. Am I right is saying surprise nr 4 is still coming? Or did I miss it? (Super hoping for CH-53)
  3. Nothing in the weekend news... Was hoping to see an eagle or ch-53 there... Hehe
  4. +1 Now that both the Huey and NS 430 fall under "DCS/ED", can we please have it in the Huey? (I am sure it would be very nice in other modules also, but the Huey seems to be the *perfect* place for it.
  5. Also happened to me. CCIP, double racks of MK83's. Each press two bombs, even though Qty and MUTI set to 1. Don't have track unfortunately. This was indeed after updating. Before update, dropped lots of bombs, without this happening. Kind regards
  6. I just want to say a big THANK YOU. Same day the Hornet releases, you have support for it. I (And I am sure everyone else as well) appreciate it a lot! It felt super empty on my first flight without the seat, and so much better later when I got the updated beta installed. Thanks!!! Kind regards
  7. +1 (Please Sir, can we have some info?)
  8. Thank you so much. I just did the same, and it also fixed mine. Had to do it for normal and beta to get both working. Now the normal shortcuts work again. Off to the skies :pilotfly: Cheers!
  9. Plez Razbam, Plez, we need them big ass rotors!!
  10. I saw last night, in the Huey, that for some reason sometimes when taking off, the ground bumps effect keeps happening even though you have taken off and are flying around. Even at say 100m height, you can feel how the effect is related to your speed. Feels like when the planes taxi on the runway. It sounds like that might be what geert is also getting. I will test tonight and try to find a way to reproduce the issue. I think it has something to do with taking off with a high horizontal speed, but low vertical speed. (Basically pulling up slowly when taking off.) Cant remember the exact effect names, but its both of the effects that should happen when contacting the ground (In the Huey at least) Cheers
  11. Hi, I am hoping someone can help me. I got my gunfighter pro with mcg pro combo yesterday. I think I have everything setup nicely (With the help of this thread) but I cannot seem to get the master mode stick's axis mode to work to trim the A-10C. It does not seem there is a trim axis in dcs for the A-10C. Is there a way to make a virtual axis, that gets its values from stick position, but that those values are offset by the master mode axis, to effectively "trim" via input from the stick, as opposed to using the actual in game trim? (Or is that sacrilege? Hehe) Thanks!
  12. Hi, I am hoping someone with more knowledge on the subject could give me/us some information. If a headset is released with eye-tracking and enabled the use of NVidia's foviated rendering technology (Not sure if team red has something similar), would that then be automatically supported in DCS (And other games) or would each game/sim need some internal adjustments to be made to support it? Or is it not possible to say yet? Just wondering, and would like more info on this, to help me decide how quickly I would click the buy button on said hypothetical headset. (If support needs to be added/coded into the sim/game, I would probably first wait and see if it is to happen) Thanks
  13. I am also hoping for more FOV. Guess Pimax's 200deg is a bit of wishful thinking, but just a bit more than now would be great. That lowers the pixel density again though, so it would really need quite a step up in resolution then.
  14. I don't have a manual, but have taken mine completely apart a few times, so if you put pictures on of the parts, I could try to help. If someone has a proper guide, that would be better though. Cheers
  15. Glad it could help, thanks again for your efforts. Just had a wonderful session with my seat :)
  16. Thank you so much, the issue is gone! Kind regards
  17. Sure, I agree, it would list most of the features, but I am sure there are many features that are included, and that are planned for future, that is not on that list. Its a relatively small list, and cannot contain everything. Just felt a bit dismissive to just say go read the module listing post. Isn't discussing the module/AC what this forum thread is for? Anyway, I don't want to fight, so I guess we can just agree to disagree :) Cheers
  18. Maybe I am misunderstanding your answer, and I apologize if I am, but surely you are not saying the e-shop posting for the av-8b will answer any and all questions on specifications that are there / will become available later? I would also love that, but alas, according to wikipedia, there were some plans to look at it, but seems it never materialized (And I guess no hope to see it in DCS then. Would have been very useful to slew sensors to where the helmet is looking though) Wiki extract: In 2013, the USMC was studying potential enhancements to keep the AV-8B Harrier IIs up to date until its planned retirement, such as a helmet-mounted cueing system. It is also predicted that additional work on the aircraft's radars and sensor systems may take place. The USMC's Harrier II fleet was planned to remain in service until 2030, owing to delays with the F-35B and the fact that the Harriers have more service life left than USMC F/A-18 Hornets.[60] However, by 2014 the USMC had decided to retire the AV-8B sooner because changing the transition orders of Harrier II and Hornet fleets to the Lightning II would save $1 billion. Cheers
  19. Hi, yes, I checked, seems dcs is still passing the acceleration data through, the middle number if I remember correctly, looks like the straight up g. (Its in the 5.x range, but I still get no effect. Think I might have attached a snapshot of it a few posts back.) I have a friend that also got his seat recently, so will ask him to test also. Kind regards
  20. Hi schepper, If you could, please test: Steps: - Use Harrier (Happens with other also, but harrier seems easier than A-10C/choppers) - Only enable g-effect (Disable all other effects) (This it just for test, its just easier to test with g-effect, but it happens to stall/AoA also) - Make mission where you start in air (Just to make it quicker to test) - Fly level, then pull up (About 3g, to verify the g-effect is working) - Fly level again, then push down, making sure the g does not go below 0g, but try to get it to exactally 0.0g or 0.1g. - Pull up again, and check if effect is still working. - Repeat a few times if possible. For me, more than 50% of the time, after that 0g dive, the g-effect (And sometimes the stall effect) does not work any more. If I then pause dcs, and resume, its back. I would just love to know if its my computer only, so that I can look for the issue on my side. Kind regards
  21. Yup, new update solved the missing file issue on my side. Thanks!
  22. Yeah, my beta also updated, getting the same error.
  23. I think I hear the same. Believe its the missile being supersonic, and is influenced you the position of your camera. (The quick on and off shutters can be heard when the camera is to the side of the missile? Complete silence when looking from in front of the missile, and continuous sound when behind the missile?)
  24. Thank you, I understand 100% re time constraints, will wait patiently. Re the effects, its not that I am saying the effects are not realistic / correct, I am sure they (The AoA as you mentioned) are very accurate. And when they are active, I also like them a lot. It just seems like there is a bug (Possibly only on my system, thus the request for others to test and confirm) that when I dive at a 0g rate, something goes wrong, and the effects get totally disabled (Mainly the g-effect (On subsequent pulls), but sometimes also the AoA effect, especially if I turn and "stall" to the right hand side) Pausing DCS for a moment (2s), completely fixes the issue, until I dive again. I hope I am explaining effectively. If not, I apologize. I am just very excited about the feedback my seat is giving me, and would just like to figure out what is causing it to misbehave like this. Thanks again for your time / effort! Kind regards
  25. Did some more testing now, seems even a very short dive at 0.0g or 0.1g causes the issue for me. If I dive hard (-0.5 or more g, it does not happen.)
