I saw that. Probaby they are trying to get it done ASAP. However, they had no problem anouncing that they move the OB Patch to the next week in the past. Now people are just like:

    Why no communication from ED?

  5. Thank you! I hadn't much time too play DCS latlely so i didn't came around too update the mod. It seems like they changed something how the game finds the textures. You have too delete all file endings in the lua file e.g. "mi_8_tex1.dds" -> "mi_8_tex1" Since today is a Holiday for me in Germany i think i will just rework it.
  6. If you have FPS issues maybe disable the mirrors. They demand at least 20-30 fps on my system.
  7. After removing pylons in the Rearm menu, the LAU-132 won't be reattached when selecting a new loadout. (Weapons will "hang in the air") Track: (download upper right corner) https://drive.google.com/open?id=1y-g-VlrXn6hGqEClTmo3FDnk-3pSo4Yk
  8. Just had this video in my recommendations and found it hilarious! Hope this is no repost.
  9. Quick question: Will we have raindrop animation on the canopy on day 1?
  10. i think there will always be more pilots than RIOs. Maybe you can find someone who will let you in on a MP Server.
  11. Two Weeks It was always right.
  12. It make sense. See it from EDs standpoint. They have some 3rd party developers they have to manage. If something like this happens, you can't just say "well, the one product is better than the other so we'll delay yours and prioritize the other" That wouldn't be fair to RAZBAM either, who have put a lot of work into their product too. I think from ED standpoint its the fairest to work it down like this. Of course it sucks for people who want one product more than the other, but some things are just out of your control i guess. Totally agree. We really need a fixed and locked thread where all relevant information is posted like the "Hornet Mini-Updates" from Wags. Tip: You can simply search for all posts of a user, that makes it somewhat easier.
  13. Well it's in EDs hands now yes. But thinking about it: Mig 19 Release candidate was ready before the F14, so ED was working on that. Also, they were implementing and probably testing every other Module for the "new feature", so there is quite a lot of work involved with that too. On a Development side, implementing the Mig and the F14 at the same time would make not much sense (i think) because there are to many variables if there was bug and it would be more work for everyone. Also keep in mind the new feature which has to be tested on both too. Well, i don't know how big the ED staff is, but this could be alot of work. So i don't think HB can say much now, the 21st is a safe release. ED probably works down their queue with the deadline for the F14 on the 20th. Everything earlier might be just a luxury. So:
  14. ED was implementing the MIG first. Guess they haven't touched the F14 a lot so far.
  15. My guess is that ED is busy with the Mig-19 release wich might come this week. And after that the F-14 is the next in queue. (No hate to Razbam! Just my speculation)
  16. Not sure. I suggest starting several new threads in several different forum sections to let them see...
  17. I feel like a kid back then, when i found my christmas gift in the closet and tried to figure out what it is. And then feeling bad, hoping my parents don't find out and get mad at me for searching around.
  18. How long did you wait to get a chance to post this :megalol:
  19. I wonder, how long did the approval for the Viggen release take? Edit: Probably two weeks
  20. This is amazing!
  21. As far as i understood, it will be released 21th no matter what. However, they have all features complete and are testing and bug squishing now. Basically, an earlier release is now determent by a) how big and complex upcoming bugs are and how much time they need to be fixed and b) how fast ED can implement the module into the beta build. Edit: and c) if ED can and want to divert from their beta update schedule
  22. Now its up to the ED Team to let them release next week! :D
  23. Thanks fot that! Well that is interesting, does anyone know if that is modeled?
  24. either 100 pages OR 1000 Posts, both are quite close 8)
  25. I think you oversee the fact that HB is not a big software development company. afaik most, if not all of them work normal jobs. So imagine comming home from work and spend another 4-6 hours on a project and maybe more on weekends. (and considering the time spend on the cat, its probably for less than minimum wage) Taking other personal issues into account i think its not easy to just put a deadline on a project, because there are just to many variables which can influence the time that can be spend on it. But it seems like they really have an idea when it will be ready for EA. So i guess two weeks is a good call. :pilotfly:
