MadMonty hi, I tried controlling the lighting conditions according to your suggestion but no joy unfortunately for my Super. Also used my Pimax Crystal Light under the same lighting conditions and checked that it has zero tracking problems. I think there is no hardware problem on my Super since at the beginning of every flight it there is no problem, but after 5-6 minutes in the flight small tracking problems appear and gradually tracking problems increase as the flight time increases. To get rid of it, I have to restart the PC. I hope a firmware update for the Super will solve the issue.

Hi MadMonty, thanks for the reply. Actually I read your post even before getting my Super and was praying to have a smoother experience than yours but life happens. :) I also tried the suggestions in the thread but did not have a positive outcome until now. What's strange is that I did not have a tracking problem with PCL.(I have it for 3 months now and the only problem I have is occasional stutters when looking left or right in the cockpit in dense urban areas. ) I also have a Quest 3 currently and used a Reverb G2 before and did not have any problems whatsoever with either of them when dialed in the settings. Will see how it develops, I continue to try different options. Best regards.

Hi, I recently got my Super. I also own a Crystal Light for some time. The problem with my Super is that, my headset loses tracking in DCS. I tried various settings both in DCS and Pimax Play (90hz, 72 Hz and different graphic settings) but no joy. One thing I noticed is that the tracking loss is happen more with during radio transmissions (both in game or SRS) and sometimes even on the main screen without the radio chatter. I'm not sure only the transmissions is the culprit, but my guess is that it happens more when I see spikes (Both on CPU and Frame Time windows) DCS performance window. (which happens on spawns, radio chatter etc.) Also, I do not have any problem like that with Crystal Light. My Rig : Core9 Ultra 285K - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio - 64Gb DDR5 6000 Mhz RAM - Win 11 Pro

Hi, currently modifiers set up for a device (stick/throttle) is stored under modifiers.lua file. Sometimes when the GUID of a device changes, we have to set the modifier again. While it's a simple process who knows what he/she's doing, it might be hard for newcomers. Also it makes harder to share a device profile if there is a modifier in it. Therefore it might be useful to store the modifier value in the device profile (i.e. stick, throttle) This setting would make profile sharing easier and get rid of the "set up the modifier again" step when the GUID of the device changes in the Windows. It might be set as a flag in the Control Menu / Device Column and then it's saved in the device profile so when you load the profile again, you automatically set the modifier etc... Best regards,

Hi, I also use Monstertech universal chairmounts for my HOTAS set (Virpil ) on my IKEA chair. Moza AB9 fitted nicely on the plate that I use for my Virpil stick base without the need for setting it backwards. Best regards.

Have the same problem in MP missions while using SRS. (Voice Chat & Turn Server are off in Options.) In my case, if there is a continuous static from the radio (SRS) clicking once for UHF and VHF buttons (the ones set in SRS) get rid of the static instantly for me. (Tested in F-16) Best regards,

Hi, if you have bought FC3 from Steam, it will not show the upgrade discount afaik. If that's the case, you can either buy the FC2024 upgrade from Steam, or you can shift your licenses from Steam to ED and buy it directly from ED. Hope that helps, best regards.

Hi, yes you can. You can copy/paste or cut/paste the DCS "install" folder. Done that 2 months ago for my new DCS drive. If you copy / paste it, make sure to adjust the DCS shortcuts on your desktop accordingly. If you cut/paste the DCS install folder, windows will automatically adjust the shortcut targets if I recall correctly. Hope that helps, best regards.

Hi, On top of what Nedum suggested, setting the Throttle axis "inverted" from the Axis Tune option menu might also help.

Hi, afaik when Tobii is active keyboard centering (Num5) is disabled. If you disable Tobii from the controllers screen you can see that you can use the keyboard for centering and looking looking around but you lose Tobii... I'm sorry if that's a stupid question but, have you assigned a centering button on your controller in Tobii game hub DCS profile? Also you might have saved some static views in the cockpit and that might also causing the default view going to the instrument view. That might also be the case. Since the problem remains although you went through a reinstallation, the problem might lie in a file which is in the Saved Games folder. You can try renaming the "View" folder which is under the Config folder of DCS Saved Games. (Afaik saved views are situated there) Best regards.

Hi, I had the same issue. I deactivated and deleted Normandy. (Although it's unified now, I'm on Open Beta branch at the moment.) Problem was I could not reinstall Normandy and it shows as an available purchase in Module Manager. I opened a support ticket. According to the instructions, I downloaded and put the bat file under DCS Open Beta source directory (Not "saved games"), ran the "bat" file of Normandy supplied by ED. ("bat" file can be found using this link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B1FNNwU4xwU-Ti00QWE2cWF6c2s?resourcekey=0-mQ1c6i7FJmB_GEBjIY9pVg ) and run DCS again. (The bat file didn't worked on my first try so I suggest a PC restart before running it.) After that, Normandy 2.0 showed in my Module Manager for install and the "available for purchase" option is no longer there as it should be. Detailed instructions can be found under this ED support page on how to install addons missing in Module Manager. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/?add=Y Hope that helps.. Best regards. null

I updated my private dedicated server from 2.8 to 2.9 and had the same issue. But when I went to the dedicated server download page at the website, I saw that there were two download files. One for 2.8 and one for 2.9. I uninstalled the 2.8 server on my machine and reinstalled it with the ver 2.9 one and the problem went away. It seems the updater for the dedicated server does not "really" update from 2.8 to 2.9. Hope that helps. Best regards. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/
