  1. A light tint is, but its not orange/yellow colored and its too light to actually notice unless you look incredibly close, i used the V1 Version of this for the really deep tint.
  2. Bit of a necropost(Lol 2 years.) But has anyone made an update of this? even using the corrected file on page 2 is broken.

  5. I wanted to get into making mods and skins but i cant find any information on an SDK of any sorts except for an old thread that was made in 2011. anyone know where to get started?
  6. So i read somewhere in the other paintkit thread that we cant paint the low pressure nozzles and the pylons, Why it that? it completely breaks any camouflage aswell because its just this grey thing in the middle of a pattern and could very well get you spotted and killed.

  11. Wait the mirage is missing HUD Brightness/contrast too? i thought it was just the harrier.
  12. Whoever handles your animations went a bit too heavy handed with the Vertex paint on the joystick. It also seems like the center part of the joysticks textures are a bit blurred. otherwise the harrier is absolutely great. cant wait for the rest of the features to get added.

Even if they DIDN'T use it then my point is they modeled all sorts of practically useless things that wont get used in combat for the A10, Atleast the PAVE Pod has a usecase(TGP Shot out but still want to use buddylase), i cant remember ever having to use the circuit breaker, the environmental control panel, the canopy disengage lever, the Encrypted radio or the Ground override/Zeroise switch, yet it all its animated in the cockpit ,and some of it even scripted, there are plenty of useless functions in the A10 Yet some are scripted anyways, when was the last time you used the Circuit breaker panel in combat(In DCS), the Master arm/Ground safety override or the Zeroise switch? my point is the PAVE Pod has an actual reason to be used, regardless if its used IRL. if DCS was modeled after the now then we would not have the P51/Spitfire/D9/K4 Or the upcoming F14, since None of them are in use anymore. Edit - we also would not have the MiG 15, The MiG 21Bis, the Sabre, The F5E. Do you get it now? its a simulation of the aircraft at the time of creation, its not based in the now and if it was things would be alot different. Edit2 - Final point - There is no reason NOT To have it, and the A10 seems incomplete without it.
  14. Its only a step down, DCS Models Suite 3, for Suite 3 its NOT Feature complete, especially if we're missing a combat system.

They dont use it now, but DCS does not model the "now", also just because its not used is not an excuse, nobody uses the circuit breaker but its perfectly functional, the enviromental control panel is useless but its still there. Canopy fog and disengage lever/controls are there and equally useless, There are plenty of useless things modeled right now, but atleast the TISL/PAVE Pod have a good usecase.

It seems like all the functions are there, its documented well in the manual and the cockpit panel is setup for function, its also incredibly useful if you either cant carry a TGP Due to weight or don't want to carry one/TGP gets damaged in combat. we are running Suite 3 So it does not matter if they are not using the PAVE Pods anymore we are not on Suite7+(the time they started removing them). we're missing a crucial part of the simulation without TISL.
  17. Went through and put together a list of minor bugs i found, kind of a 'once seen cannot unsee' thing so i hope its fixed soon.
