I reported it when it appeared in 1.5.8 Open Beta - well, it has [REPORTED] Status but they didn't do anything with it.

Hello, I've noticed that whenever I'm on a carrier in Su-33, plane shakes... or more like vibrates and moves a bit that sometimes shakes make rearming impossible, repair and refueling is usually impossible. If shaking allows to rearm, usually carrier deck crew screams "what are you doing" - that's because aircraft is moving even though engines are off, wheel brakes on. Problem occurs only when carrier goes faster than 40 km/h [22 kts]

Well, it seems like it doesn't work like that in 1.5.8 - it looks even weirder than it was. And 1.5.8 has no AfterburnerCircles.dds but afterburnerCircle.dds. After all it's still not as weird as white clouds during night in 1.5.8 XD Was wondering if I should report this since 2.5 is closing fast... may be there's no more sense for that.

It's been 12 days since 1.5.8.12265 hotfix that fixes mainly black textures in encyclopedia and theme music playing in multiplayer mode got released. Unfortunately Steam doesn't recognize that small hotfix and it doesn't update it - so yeah, I don't have view on aircraft camouflages in encyclopedia and mission editor. There always is some delay on Steam, but it never was that long... almost 2 weeks. Please someone who sets compatibility of DCS Open Beta on Steam - update it to recent hotfix :helpsmilie:

It's been 9 days since hotfix .12265 for Open Beta 1.5.8 is avaliable. Unfortunately steam Open Beta version is still in .12162. I was veryfing files every day with hope that it will install that hotfix, but nothing happend yet. I don't know how long I'll wait, but update from 1.5.7 to 1.5.8 appeared in really short time after Harrier got released... and it's a bit weird that after those 9 days steam didn't recognize small hotfix. Also, recently appeared new Mi-8 campaign - it got added to steam without any delay - so that also makes me wonder, what happend that this hotfix is still not there. Well, if it didn't fix something important - I probably wouldn't even care, but this hotfix fixes things like: UI background music will not play in multiplayer game. The textures of 3D models in the encyclopedia restored. That are quite annoying atm. I'm aware of delay on steam although in this forum steam FAQ was nothing about average time of waiting for an update, so that and other reasons I wrote above made me write this report. Cheers

Good to hear that. I spotted that my post got moved to different section - yeh, sorry for posting it in Release Version bugs - missed others where I should post it. Although it's a problem in 1.5.8 so I guess it should be moved to 1.5 Open Beta section instead of 2.0 Open Alpha where it is now - unless I it's not a problem ;)

And to be more precised, it happens on all jets with afterburner from FC3 - I don't know about others but you should check them too.

Hi, After I downloaded last 1.5.8 update I spotted that afterburner texture looks a bit different and less realistic compared to the one we had in 1.5.7. Basically I feel like it got removed that "tube & ring" effect and left only "yellow pancakes". And it has after all weird ending - like it separates by 2 parts. I'm not sure if it's a bug or made on purpose, but it doesn't look better or more realistic to thing that we can see irl...

Hi, Recently Steam added new currencies. It seemed like it went really smooth, without any troubles. Then I spotted that there are only 2 DLCs from DCS avaliable for purchase with use of PLN. It is in state like that for about a week. The only avaliable products are JAS-37 Viggen and UH-1 campaign (which ofc requires to buy UH-1 before but UH-1 is not avaliable for purchase :doh:) DLCs list in Poland VS In the rest of the world (I guess - because I have no clue if there are similar problems with other recently added currencies) I sincerely hope that someone takes care of that problem soon™.

Heh, meanwhile on steam after addition of new currencies some countries have no ability to purchase pretty much anything from DCS... If they do any discounts before setting converted prices it will be literal "black" ... whatever day it happens.
