Hi, I'd like to know if my settings are right, as I'm (too well) surprised to have that much FPS... I have a i7 4790k + GTX1070, and with a very simple single player mission over Caucasus I get around 40fps average... I followed Thud's VR4DCS advice : I set everything to 100%, enabled reprojection by erasing the "//" on the settings file. I'm astonished to see that even when FPS drop below 20 it's very smooth, I thought my GTX1070 couldn't even start the game... So, my question is : do I have a way to check wether the resolution is around 4320*2160 ? Other question : eventhough reprojection is enabled, I see it grayed in FPSVR (see attached picture). Why ? Thank you !

Hi, I'm rather new to DCS and I can't complete this mission. I send my wingmen against F18, send the Sweep Su27 as soon as they are ready to proceed, and try to engage any enemy aircraft. And it often ends the same way : most of my wingmen get killed, my 27ER can't hit anyone, considering I had the chance to avoid incoming missiles before, which happens once in a while when I'm lucky (sometimes I get hit without even knowing a missile was fired, whereas I am still quite far from the F18). And when a missile is fired, I can't spot it nor avoid it (I play using VR). Any tactic to end this campaign ? Thank you !

Hi, I finally (half) succeeded. I think what I missed was to say "SPOT" then "IN" (I watched youtube DCS JTAC videos) : my GBUs always hit the targets. The last one I had to use canon, as my wingman never wanted to attack. But then I had to deal with the gazelles. I chose option C (common attack) but never had a chance to shoot one, as apparently they both got killed by a F16 (by "Wolkowitz" ?, as seen in the debreifing). Then there was a problem : F10 menu only gave the choice of calling Reaper 02 for help (on package), this is what I did but there was no voice over at all. Finally I RTB with no further voice over (no debriefing, no contact with approach). When I parked I received a call from A10. I scored 40/90. I suppose I missed some voice over, I'm a bit sad I couldn't experiment, or at least watch the proper ending of this mission on youtube, but I'm still glad the JTAC thing worked :)

It was mission 14. I don't know why I got 90 then. Thank you anyway !

Hi, I have trouble with this mission. This is what I do : - I check in with Moonbeam, readback the nineline, and say "IP inbound". - I place the crosshair of the Bomb more or less in the position of one of the AAA. - I say "laser on" - I drop the bomb when the little green line goes upwards The bomb always misses the AAA. What am I doing wrong ? PS : I can't make my wingman attack, even after he spots the ground targets. On which frequency should I contact him ? (Red 1 or 2 ?) With what message exactly (n° 7 ?) ? PPS : I coulnd't find any video showing this mission :(

Hi, I didn't succeed in getting 100 in this mission : - I spotted Max - I sent my wingman against a Mig29 - he got shot down - I splashed both Mig29 - I'm not sure wether I got the initial "fencer" messages, but as far as I remember my wingman should say "a recon flight ?" I think (not sure, I might get mixed up with another mission), but if it's the case he didn't say this this time (as he was shot down) - after some time Metal took over, but I never found Banshee (this Banshee flight didn't seem to go towards Alamo so I went there alone) - i followed vectors given by the Approach, landed, parked. I score 100 but only 90 in the results. Any idea why ? Thank you !

Hi Baltic, Once again, congratulations for this amazing campaign, it's simply awsome. Regarding Mission 12, I think you really could have another look at it as, I think, it's not playable without using the wingman's help. First, it would be more interesting to use a DRYAD grid with different numbers (I mean : on the one provided, every red line is exactly the same, which seems to confuse a lot of people, as it becomes then pointless to have a SET LETTER. Then, there is a problem within the mission : SET LETTER N : KIGUSWH => 3327682, which are clearly not coordinates inside Bastille area, and there are 7 numbers instead of 6 so we can't put them in the INS... SET LETTER W : DESFTMW => 1161648, this time it could be correct but i "think" it's still not within Bastille boundaries. Thank you for reading me, I hope I was clear anough !

Hi! I use manual alignment. And still, the coordinates of tequila point somewhere in the ground where the flares almost don't illuminate anything. Hi, First of all, this is an amazing campaign that you created, BD. Thank you! I have a question regarding mission 7 : at some point we are given coordinates for spotting trucks, Tequila,... But if I rely on them, they show a point in the shadow. At first I thought there was a vehicle hidden in the dark (I play in VR so ground targets are difficult to find) but obviously that's not the case. I know there is the INS drift to take into account, but are we supposed to align the INS in-flight? The other answer would be, I'm afraid, that these coordinates are less useful than expected? It adds realism that's true, but when I decided to play the mission again I admit I didn't even try to create a wpt 9. Another question : are we supposed to fight aircraft after ground units are destroyed? Indeed, when tequila was 100% destroyed I had enemy planes coming, but when tequila was partially destroyed (I don't remember the exact terms), the F5 didn't show. I decided then to move to the next mission, although I could have had more points :)

OK. I noticed there was a second red smoke, just after the leader strikes, but no dialogs mention it?

I searched a little bit before posting and apparently, I'm the only one who found hard to spot these targets. I also watched a video (the only one ?) of someone playing mission 6 on youtube, and he also struggles in finding the targets. At some point the AAA is out of the forest, that's how he managed to hit it. But I must say that it's in a former version of DCS. Thank you for your reply ; I will buy all you campains at some point, but the M2000 is my first aircraft. I bought FC3 (but hardly tried the SU27...) and NTTR :)

EDIT : rhaaaaaaa sorry I made a mistake in the title, can anyone correct me and write Mission 6 instead ? Hi, I just wanted to say that, in VR at least, finding the ground targets is +/- impossible. I tried to reduce the visibility of trees, grass, textures, to the maximum ; I also circled around the aera to make myself a target and to be fired at, and thus I could see where the bullets came from. Even with this, I couldn't find the targets. So I dropped my bombs randomly around the red smoke aera and finally got this AAA, after having done this mission 4-5 times ! Needless to say that when firing guns it was the same, I just followed the leader from very close and targeted the aera hit by his bullets. Not very elegant :) At the end I finally got : result 14 and score 90, what's the maximum grade ? Thank you ! PS : this campaign is just magnificient, Baltic Dragon you have done an incredible work.

Finally it worked (although I only imported the first 20 commands because I use an unregistered version of VA for trying purposes), but I don't know why it didn't work yesterday. I must have done sthg wrong obviously... Thank you anyway !

Still doesn't work... I'll add I have free edition of both VA and VAICOM. I wanted to try but obviously it's not going to work unfortunately :(
