Good idea, perhaps I can change the frequency of the command vehicle or the command post. Otherways, I think I can life with the original frequency of the FARPs as long I can change the airport frequencies. Normally I create only one FARP in a mission. In a sim with that great realism I dont like to have all airports on the same frequency.
-
I know the default frequency is 127.5 MHz. But I would like to change them. The airport frequencies can be changed by editing the corresponding file. My question is, is it possible to change the frequencies of the FARPs too? Because, in the file of the airports is nothing written about the FARPs.
-
Can I change the frequencies of the FARPs? I have found the file where I can change the airport frequencies, but there is nothing about FARPs. Btw, I cant read or speak russian.

Normaly its best to switch the datalink to "wingman mode" for every pilot of the flight! In Comander Mode you are able to get targets from your flight leader ONLY and the other wingmen do not appear in the ABRIS! The wingman mode is the second position from right of the rotary switch next to the datalink ID rotary switch.

Perhaps the APU was still running...

Will try with linear curves again.

Collective: linear / inverted Pitch: user curve 45 Bank: user curve 45 ruder: user curve 30

I have built a mission with a FARP. When I ask the ground crew to get external power the answer is always: "ground service" What does that mean? And how can I tell the wingman to restart the engines after refuel and rearm at the FARP? Do I have to put 2 GPU to the FARP if I would like to land with a wingman?

Thats true, and that is exactly what this sim makes interesting :pilotfly:

Well, I found the info`s I was looking for in the Chapter 8. Shame on me, and thanks for helping GGTharos. Now I have to build a kneeboard for me to be able to have all infos during a flight with more than 4 players
-
Hmmm, I have read the manual for several times now, but I cant get any infos about which radio is used for data link comm`s. Am I just to stupid? Can you please give me the chapter number?
-
Whats the best way to use the Data Link in a squadron with more then 4 Players? Which radio is used to send/recieve data link informations? R800L1 or R-828? Is there a way to set different radio frequencies for the Data Link?
-
Hmmm, in this case it is not useful for me
-
Wow, thats a nice feature. Where do I have to do that? In the control software of the stick or in the GUI of the sim?
-
Does that mean it is possible? And what do you mean with: "....using bands on X and Y axis so i can have a neutral zone" Can you explain this in other words for me please? My english is not the best

Is it possible to assign the slew commands of the landing light to an axis?
-
Nice job, AlphaOneSix  Thank you very much.

Thanks for these kind words, urze I am one of those new faces here and its a pleasure to be here. Getting a russian version of DCS next week

And on the same panel you can switch to the BACKUP landing light and thats the thing of interest. The question is: Can I slew the BACKUP landing light like the primary landing light?
-
Sorry vitek, I misunderstood your question

You should read the manual again! The whole process is discribed very well! Coordinate Corrections Using Over-flight Method Once you are within 18 km of a reference point, the EKRAN will sound an audio cue and display “ПРОВЕДИ КОРРЕКЦ КООРД” (Perform Coordinates Correction). To perform the correction: 1. On the PVI-800, press the “ОР” (Fix point) push-light and this will light up the button. 2. Press the key on the PVI-800 keypad that corresponds to this reference point number; this number will be displayed on the small right window. 3. Set “И-251В – ПРОЛ” (I-251V Shkval – Fly over) switch to “ПРОЛ” (Fly over) on the PVI-800. 4. Visually locate the reference point, fly towards it, and once located exactly above it press the “ЦУ” (Uncage Shkval –designate target) button on the cyclic. This will set the current coordinates in the onboard navigation system to the reference coordinates. Once the correction is complete, the “ОР” push-light and its number will no longer be lit.

Roger that! I will correct as much as I can during a mission! Thanks again, GGTharos

I allready studied this chapter and I know how it should be done in both ways, by fly-over and using the shkval. The only thing I dont understand is, when does I know for shure that I have to perform this correction? Edit: Ok, crosscheck with the ABRIS is a good possibility. Thanks for your answer, GGTharos

You will get the message on the Ekran when you are within 18km to the next reference point.

That means, I can forget the whole chapter of correcting the coordinates?
