Since the DCS 2.5 version has appeared the glass effect is not works well. There is NO glass effect. The problem is not solve with texture structure modify. Have to modify on the 3D model. The developer must solve this problem! I hope he reads this comment and will modify this problem on both of two model! Befor the Gazelle helicopter had same problem but the developer repaired it. I am sending error message and e-mail continuously to repair the error but there is NOT happend anything. Very sad this behave. The developer doesn't care about this fatal error. I think it is really scandalous! I've made some photos from my morning fly. We can see the differences... I don't know MI 8 and UH 1 why doesn't have this spectacular glass. Why don't you repair??

Real glass

As you can see on the pictures the glass is just shineing when the sun reach it. It look like there is glass effect. BUT If the sun is not reach this area it looks like there is NO glass.

Hi, The problem about the glass is not solved yet with UH 1 and MI 8 helicopter. I've talked BelSimTek and I've written to the leader of DCS. They think there is no any problem. UH 1 and MI 8 helicopters have no glass effect in outside view. It has been since DCS 2.5. It was not problem earlier. The glass was spectacular. Earlier / the proper glass effect / : Now / no any glass effect / : I've written the creator of module. I've told them to check Gazelle helicopter glass effect because it is perfect. Please help everyone so the error will be solved! Write your opinion on to this forum and support If you agree with me! Thank you very much,

I have same error. I am waiting the repair.

The problem with the glass is still exist. The glass appear really poor and not realistic. I I have attached my currently DSC setting and a snapshot about my helicopter's glass. Another helicopters glass look well. You can see on my attached picture. Please restore the former glass setting version. That was spectacular and realictic.

Helo, I have a problem in DCS 2.2 and 2.5 version. The UH1 helicopter's glass doesn't appear well. I have seen this problem other people too. I would like to ask all of you to upload a picture their UH 1, Mil MI 8 helicopter. I think this is a BUG what should repair on this model. Gazelle helicopter have same problem. Dear Developer, Please the next Gazelle helicopter update release without weapon. We need this civil version too. Please remove the helicopter's weapon holders and inside the cabin the gun system. We really like this helicopter. Please do it for us. I am thankful. ps: All of helicopter in DCS have civil version too. ( MI8, UH1) Zoltan

Dear Developer, There is a problem with AMD type video card. The heliopters (MI8, UH1, SA 341) the glass effect doesn't appear well. I don't test it on planes. I tried on DCS all version but it is not work with none of them. I checked all of settings but I am stuck. I have no good resault. I attached picture! I seems to me who are use Nvidia video card they appear great this glass effect. What is your opinion? What could be the problem? When could you repair this problem? Thank you very much, Zoltan
