So I finally got around to finish installing some of these awesome sensors in my Fighterstick. I had a brief delay due to finding out that these new sensors are not reverse polarity safe! I was so mindful of this up until I plugged the connector into the stock controller back to front... :cry: Got to say, I'm very impressed! Thanks rel4y! Paired with a new mmjoy2 controller giving 12bit resolution, I beleive this stick is now pretty much up there with the virpil and VKB offerings. Would love to come up with a robust dual stage trigger mod one of these days. Waiting to find a cheap second hand stick to come my way before I get stuck into that project. Then my only other complaint is the notch when crossing over on the X and Y axis. Honestly if I don't think about it it doesn't affect anything, hence why I still have this stick some 15 years later. Can you reveal any details on the new gimbal you spoke of rel4y?

Sorry if it's been mentioned, i can't find anything about how you have painted the text. I think it looks like the text is raised, do you just do a bit of a touch up or something like a decal or sticker?

Yep, I fell into bad habits! Regardless of my poor start up procedures that kneeboard mod definitely caused the INS not to align at all. More research found that the latest update changed some things in the device_init.lua for the F18. Fixing that mod for OvGME made things a LOT better!

Yeah, in the past as soon as the AMPCD came up with HSI the map was immediately there. Now There is no map as per the pic attached. I did find that after removing all mods it will work eventually, I wasn't patient enough before. So i'm slowly going through enabling mods one at a time to see where it falls over. Frustrating thing about this is my friend is being a douche about it cause he has no such problem :huh: EDIT: Found the mod that was causing my problems. I had modified the kneeboard position as per this reddit post https://www.reddit.com/r/hoggit/comments/az3i7q/kneeboard_position_on_multiple_monitors_which/ Don't understand why that would cause my problems, but in single player i fast forward for some 20 minutes in game time and INS would never get right when that mod was enabled...

I just noticed my count down was much faster than it should be, like maybe it counts 2 seconds every 1 real second. EDIT: However I still can't get INS to work, still thinks I am at N 0*00.0000' e 0*00.0000' regardless of how long I wait in off and/or GND align. With and without mods.

I made a gear lever based off of this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3082051 There is a replica F18 knob that fits here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3474129 There was a reeddit post on hoggit that got me onto these 2 models, struggling to find it. In the end I customised this design and made it a little different for my purposes. Certainly a good place to start! Edit: Sorry, re-reading OP shows I might be a bit off the mark. Reckon it's still worth sharing.
