  1. Sure, but not to go overboard (pun unintended) with deep systems rework of ships damage model, I'd be happy just to increase Harpoon damage to match every other anti-ship missile in the sim with similar warheads, should be easy to do and would keep people happy until ED has avalible resources to properly rework the whole thing
  2. Maybe they should rework every other anti-ship missile in the sim then, because the harpoon does about 1/3rd of the damage then any other missile like RB4 RB15
  3. The fact the the Harpoons have firecrackers for warheads also does not help
  4. Well it's a widespread issue that affects SAMS and some AI aircraft as well as ships, RWR spikes on a huuuuge area around the actual targets, Bignewy said 7 months ago he'd get an update on this from the team but we never got it, I'd really like to get that update
  5. Any news on that? It's hands down for me the most annoying bug in DCS atm, also affects friendly and enemy SAMs and ships
  6. I would assume so but let's wait to hear it from someone from ED
  7. I hope we get our hands in that soon, would make life much easier in complex scenarios
  8. I have been having issues with AMRAAMs fired off boresight (say 50-60deg off nose) circa say 15-20nm, I took this shot defencevelly twice today, and both times the missile just went straight ahead and didn't track, instantly flashing "LOST" in the HUD even tho I had a good TWS track on the target (multiplayer)
  9. That's what I thought, we need this!
  10. In the real aircraft? Thats sad...
  11. I'm aware of that, that is not the point of this thread tho, what I'm asking if if the IRL hornet has the same capability in TWS Auto to modulate azimuth and elevation to keep the most possible track files in the scan volume as the Tomcat does, and it will be a feature we'll get in the future, or does the IRL jet does not have such function
  12. Hey guys, So I have a question, in the Tomcat, if there are multiple TWS tracks, the system automatically sets the radar azimuth to keep the most contacts in view, the hornet beeing a more modern aircraft, at least at the moment it just centers it around the L/S track, say I have 2 tracks 20nm wide, which the radar could scan both if it scans between them, shouldn't it do it? Or IRL does it just centers itself on the L/S track? Find that hard to belive since the tomcat has this function, but I might be wrong Thanks
  13. I'm pretty sure that DCS does not count civ traffic as an actual "unit", which might make it undetectable by the radar, don't quote me on that tho, might be outdated info

    HORENT NWS

If you were to fast the nose wheel skidded, if you are doing shap turns you should be almost at a stop
  15. I was wondering, since we can take a double rack of MK-83, is it possible a BRU-55 double rack of GBU-32? Just asking really I don't know but if yes it's not in-game yet It doest looks like it would fit just fine, the fins are the same size as the MK-83 (MK83 racks and GBU38 racks on the screenshot)
  16. Well that's better, I didn't realize it was improving, still, the damage is abnormally low compared to the other anti-ship missiles in game, I hope the devs continue to improve it over time
  17. So I'm attaching a pic of a real-life post harpoon impact, since the launch of the AGM-84, its damage been like 1-3%, it does't look like 3% to me, numerous bugs were fixed with the harpoon and good job on that, but it's still pretty much useless since it deals no damage at all, It's one of my most anticipated weapons because I love anti-ship warfare but after many months (almost a year) this is still not fixed, ALL other anti-ship missile works fine and deals about 25%-50% damage to a ship like the Grisha, why does the harpoon has a firecracker for a warhead? It's been a very long time and I'm not a programer but it really doesn't seem like a super complex thing to fix, since this been reported so many times and it's fact I won't even bother with tracks for this report, hope you can take it to be fixed. Thanks
  18. Ahh dammit! Well anyways, thanks for the response looking forward to the next Hornet campaing!
  19. I can confirm you can see all kinds of weird "message to alls"
  20. Thats funny I actually flew M14 with the HMD willingly since i knew there would be daylight by the time I got to the combat area (quickly regreted it tho in the rejoin and oman crossing haha). I was glad I could at least make use of it in the M15
  21. First of all, congratulations on this AMAZING campaing, you managed to improve on the already great enemy within. I do have a very important question: are there plans to make the sequels "declared hostile" and "fight fight" campaings, thing is I loved flying it while reading the book at the same time, and if so, I'd hold off to read it as to not to spoil the surprises in flight (Prince's shoot-down? Wow. Amazingly done.) Thanks and looking forward to future releases!
  22. Up
  23. Yeah I don't know what happened, maybe some trigger/flag misbehaving, might wanna check that, flew the mission pretty much by the scrip as all the others
