I am fairly confident that ED will not be simulating it.
ED can simulate everything (and should be simulating longbow apache too) if they can simulate the F-35 :music_whistling:
-
:) i want this one
-
-
I hope they will put the swastika on the tail, for accuracy.
there are already in the sim

We have to wait for mods ;)
here is the mod what you waiting for ;)
there are already swastikas in the sim - on Dora

is there any developer working on freeware project for dcs world? i know developing for dcs is more complicated ands needs more time than the other simulation projects but maybe a little hope?
sorry for writing that but i think since ED come up with payware third party project ideas all the developers - maybe modders and skinners likewise - hope they will able to make some money too - not only ED
but in contrast i see to do/make something new is very difficult and time-consuming - especially without public SDKs (what microsoft released quickly for their flight simulator cummunity) - so i can understand they will need some fee for their hard and lengthy work - just think about grandsurf's never released projects
so i guess we will see only just a few freeware projects - but in my dreams i hope i will be wrong with MHO

Yes it's easy to fix, look in Bazar/Terrain and open terrain.cfg.lua:
line 79:
squareSize = 50.0;
 oh, thanks
but what is this squaresize ? - size of unified surface where program put smallshit grass ?
i guess i need to change size 150 to size 50 - does smaller size means less zig-zag but means more dense surface-squares of grass and more precise placement on the ground ? will it cause some FPS drop ?
- and why ED not corrected this already officially :dunno:
and one more: admins please change this thread name to: Best Mods for use in Current version - and please make it sticky
however i know there is already a sticky Mods Directory thread
-
Yes it's taken a ton of trial and error to find the right values in the right files and now it looks (IMO of course) close to perfect.
:dunno:
Mustang if i remember correctly you made earlier a mod/correction against this smallshit north+south misalignment bug ? ? ? - or i dont know how to call this: - looks zig-zag if the road/runway/taxiway is not oriented to west+east or north+south :(
this is a very old bug
do you know a correction guys ?
TY

very nice, mustang
yeah, nice  but is that a new russian HUD symbology ?
Any updated info on this?Is this going to be released publicly or kept privately. Just wondering because it really adds some great "atmosphere" to the sim!
Fingers crossed!!!:pilotfly:
have you seen his "blog" here ?
http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=68538
i hope he will able to recover his rig and release those vapor sometimes (with ED - with 1.2.5. maybe?)
-
i dont know who deleted your reply TimeKilla - maybe you or an admin -
but don't misunderstand me: if i (we) would have bought all the AFM modules (sure i would) I would have paid 40-80$ over FC3 i paid: so this is good for my (our) finance but dont think this is charity of ED
this is foresight and investment in the future of ED
probably not for the old core costumers who had would paid this plus amount anyway (who got this kind step) but for new costumers all the more
and probably technically better not to let live two versions in multiplayer - SFM and AFM versions with on same type of aircraft
...just my 2 cents

Update - 22 June 2013
We have completed our internal discussion of the availability of the "upgraded" Flaming Cliffs aircraft and we have decided to make them available for free to Flaming Cliffs 3 customers. We believe that this will add a very high level of new content to the FC3, it will avoid duplicate aircraft types, and we hope it will broaden the appeal of FC3 to an even larger audience.
Did I mention that FC3 is currently on sale? :)
Well, that was unexpected...yeah, unexpected step but a very kind step: sounds like a symphony to my ears
Thanks Matt, Alex and whole ED Team :worthy:

I Like HungaroJET's Vapor better:
(Link
dont you think HJ is working for ED ? :D
i think on Wags' screenshot the hog got too curved/whirled wingtip vapor
looks IRL behind wingtips of hog only 10 feet of vapor is curved others back already smoothed - almost like this one

T-Minus Whever...

 there are no pedophilia but only impatience :D right Skate ? :rotflmao:

So basicly all other planes are put on the shelf?
hopefully not - so lets hope in new external models and new 3D-6DOF cokpits as well (MiG-29, Su-33, F-16, F-14, F-4, F-117, MiG-27, MiG-31, Su-24 etc.)
I will try to answer a few questions that have come up in this thread:4- Other FC3 aircraft will be improved as well (like the Su-27, Su-25, F-15C and A-10A). When they are further along, we will discuss them.
Matt

I just have to get over it....
hahaha
and have you seen these yet ? ;)

thanks Matt  hope continues :)

cool, thanks Flanker
never knew that blue Tu-22 afterburner flames
-
So when is it coming out?
i guess two years more approx, honestly - forgot that two weeks bulls**t :D
-
isnt that afterburner looks too bluish ?
looks they burning some propan-butan gas :D or photoshop ?

My concern is what the difference is between what we already have vs what they are now offering. Is the only difference between DCS A-10A vs FC3 A-10A only an AFM? Think Id rather just keep FC3 because now its just pointless to pay again and again and again.
those disjointed/seperated modules are not for you especially if you already bought FC3
these for players who dont wnat to buy FC3 because they already know they will never fly su-25 and a-10a for example
- and for peeling off ubisoft
-
...to ED but want to be sure before I tell them that if they get it now they get the AFM for free down the road...
Could we please get an OFFICIAL response on this? Thanks!
yeah, and about "down the road" OFFICIAL words of Su-33, MiG-29s and Su-25T
yeah, mig-29, su-33, su-25t would be fine as well (with AFM, and with new 3D-6DOF cockpits and with of course new detailed external models) - and mig-31, f-16, f-4 etc.^ i guess we can wait but some official words would be greatful :bounce:
like this: new models are already under 3D development (ext/int models)
or: MiG and Suhoi bureaus not allowed yet
just some words Wags PLEASE
-
so why no Mig29's?
SU33's?
Additionally, this will later allow us to make these aircraft available on Steam, Origin, Gamefly and other digital retail channels.yeah, mig-29, su-33, su-25t would be fine as well (with AFM, and with new 3D-6DOF cockpits and with of course new detailed external models) - and mig-31, f-16, f-4 etc.^ i guess we can wait but some official words would be greatful :bounce:

$15.99 wasting money ????? Come on jump on it. As a sim it's not easy to fly but trust me once you master it all helicopter sims will be a cinch. I couldn't take off properly in FSX with the jetranger let alone the EH101! Now they are easy to fly after the Huey. BTW I had bought 2 copies of the huey at full price so don't even mention the money wasting part ;)
the more difficult is better - huey is 20$ now
and all the dcs titles got easy mode - you can start with it
by the way: have you ever started to fly choppers in FSX by mouse - with mouse control this is very easy even on maximum realizm, if you already know how to fly by mouse then you can change to a joystick or to a HOTAS ;) but dont forget proper rudder handling is the most important part of all chopper handling
DCS F-35A

from Kickstarter:
"Setting your project deadline
Funding can last anywhere from one to 60 days, however a longer duration is not necessarily better. Statistically, projects lasting 30 days or less have our highest success rates. A Kickstarter project takes a lot of work to run, and shorter projects set a tone of confidence and help motivate your backers to join the party. Longer durations incite less urgency, encourage procrastination, and tend to fizzle out."
Good luck guys and i hope you (KI) will come up with Bravo and Charlie soon
