I don't want to open a new thread (like so many others): My question is still open, but I guess an answer could be around. BTW. I read the manual, but didn't find a solution. At least I learned how to transfer Target Points from the Navigation Panel to the Data Link / ABRIS. So again my question: Is there a possibility to assign an ingress point to a Wingman, without giving him a target?! So if you give him the order F2, F3, F3 -> Goto Datalink Point he just stays there without doing anything!

Well I just flew the Tkvarcheli mission and assigned a save ingress point to my wingman, as well as some targets. He first flew there, fired a Vikhr but then flew over the town where he was shot down.... Hmm didn't work well!

And: is there a possibility just to assign an ingress point to the Wingman? I saved an ingress point with the Skhval, sent it to my wingman and pressed F2 (Wingman), F3 Goto and F3 Datalink Point. He always answered "Negative"... It doesn't work. Does he always need to have a target assigned as well? Would be nice at the beginning of a mission to tell him where to go until I assign targets to him...

After a hard struggle I managed to bring my movie on Youtube with HD. ( http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=n6a9Vx_wbPo ) I uploaded it as Xvid, but I guess it could be mp4, wmv or mov as well. The only thing that really counts is: P A T I E N C E !!! It took Youtube five (f i v e) hours to show the movie as HD version. So take your time. Make the film private first and wait! When it's shown as HD make it public. Voila! Al the best, Moreno PS: Tomorrow Final Cut Express 4 is arriving. I bought it cos I was so frustrated with Youtube, thinking that Vegas was the problem. Well now my Mac will do the job... ;)

Hey Community, Finally I managed to upload my movie as a HD-Version on Youtube: BE SURE TO CLICK ON HD! And here's the story: It was a nice but cold winter evening, when suddenly the alarm jolted me out of my arousing daydreams. Intelligence reported, that the Georgian Army sent several speedboats and cruisers to board our not half-manned aircraft-carrier to get hold of highly classified material. Now it was on me, Ivan Smirnoff, to jump into my KA-50 and interfere with the Georgian plans. While I powered up my Blackshark the enemy ships already launched a couple of missiles to destroy our cruiser. But defense was strong enough. One ship-to-ship missile was even able to sink one of the enemy speedboats. I flew to the location where our intelligence suspected their position. A single speedboat was left and I was able to destroy it. Returning to our territory, I had a short stop on one of our cruisers. During this refueling stop, I visited the commando centre, observing our fleet’s confrontation with the rest of the Georgian ships. Our ambush finally led them to give up and retreat behind their border. It was time to return to our base and get back to this wonderful daydream. Ivan Smirnoff

Thanks for all the replys. I have already written my own profile for the cougar. So no probs there. I use the KPDENTER for the Ventrilo/TS Hotkey, erased it in BS and added it in Foxy. I used the /P /R modifiers instead of /H (Hold?) <- Maybe that one is way better than P/R. As I haven't been on a server recently I couldn't try it out. But I will today. EDIT: Works perfectly with the /h modifier! CHEEEERS! Moreno...

I just don't get it. I'm uploading the same video with same settings that worked as high quality before and now it doesn't get hq again.... Youtube truly suckz.

I'm experimenting with mp4 right now and at least high quality seems to work. Yes I know. Vimeo is great as well. I have an account there. But although I don't like it very much: YouTube is more popular.. ;) GOOGLE TAKES OVER THE EARTH!!!!!!

Cos I don't want to put my hands off the HOTAS... I'm trying it out...

I managed to achieve this once but now, no matter what quality in Sony Vegas i choose using XVid-Codec, I can't get even to high quality on YouTube! So please share your codecs, sizes, quality settings. What do we need to put high quality or even HD Vids on YouTube? I thought 720p and high settings in Vegas would be enought for HD. Doesn't work anymore....

Are you using TS or Ventrilo with a Hotkey? I want to assign a button on my Cougar for Push to talk. How do I achieve this?

QWERTZ: [LStrg+Y] -> FastMotion [LALT+Y] -> SlowMotion [shift+Y] -> Normal Speed Otherwise I guess it's Z with a QWERTY, try it out! No Rewinding as far as I know Free Camera: [LStrg+F11] Movement with Mousewheel... I hope they implement better moviemaking possibilities in the future. Proper movie controls are definitely needed!

Well yes then, errr, it was a failure: One Mi-8 was shot down. That might be the reason for the 50%. No fail nor success message though <- Could be improved in future patches. As well as a mission state saving feature. We already had that in Lock On guys!

Good idea.... And NullCharacter: When I press that key it tells me 50% or 75% is done. But in the end there's no real success message. Well guess i succeeded as I didn't see a fail message.. :music_whistling:

Well, finally managed to finish the mission. Isn't there a success-report? As I reached 50% of the mission I don't know if it is enough to end the mission successfully. Is there really nobody, who knows about an in-mission save state?????????????????????

Strangely enough I flew all the way with de-icing on, but I'll try again tomorrow. Having an inflight saving-possibility would be nice though...
