  1. Yeah, this is a skip for me! Tried four times now, and it just dosent work. The last two times i tried, the first Stinger gets out at the bunker just fine, however when I take the second larger Stinger team up there, they refuse to get out, and the mission stalls. Good find with the refueling though, that explains it. I just took a bit ekstra at the start, no problem.
  2. I pretty much tried all settings. Today I flew it again, and managed to take on extra fuel from the starting point in Sierra Mike, using INT, with rotors turning. All working as expected down there. However, at Sierra Oscar, the Stinger guy didn't get onboard, when I landed at the base, after unloading the guys brought from Sierra Mike, at the top. And then the mission ground to a halt, it seemed. And, still unable to get any response from Ground crew at Sierra Oscar, so no refueling. This was all after applying hotfix 2.9.16.10973 from 30. May.
  3. Ok, tried it again, and its just not working for me. No reply from Ground crew, when landed at Sierra Oscar LZ. Also, took the first Stinger team to the observation tower, and landed behind the bunker, but then nothing, they didn't get out. After that, the mission seemed to kind of die. No more radio transmissions. Low res VR screenshot from the LZ attached.
  4. That is strange My inverter was shot up, hence why I tried shutting down and opening the doors, before yelling at the ground crew. I wonder if that could be the culprit anyway ? Anyway, I'm gonna give it another go in couple of days, thanks for checking it out.
  5. Is there supposed to be fuel available at Sierra Oscar ? If not, I need to take on a whole lot more fuel at Sierra Mike! When I get to lifting the second team of manpads, I'm pretty much running on fumes with the default fuel load from mission start.. I tried refueling at the Sierra Oscar landing site and a couple of different spots around camp, but no luck, and no reply from Ground crew. I even tried shutting down and opening the doors, to rule out it was some radio setting messing it up.
  6. A smoke marker would certainly help, but if other, not VR visually impaired can spot him without help, maybe make it a F10 call option, if possible ? Wouldn't want to spoil it for others! Also, as I learned in the other Mission 9 thread, I was supposed to have door gunners? I suspect the whole thing would have been a lot easier had they been on board, as they are generally very good at spotting (and hitting) bad guys. Much unlike the copilot, who cant hit the broadside of a barn. Anyway, finally got through it, had to go rearm three times, rockets are our friends
  7. Trouble is I cant see the targets, I basically fire at an area. Today I had the good fortune to place all rockets just so, and took out the mortars, but then failed at the technical. Again, couldnt spot him, before he started spewing tracers, and by then I was way too close to the DShK. Maybe its because of VR? Did you test in 2D ?
  8. Same here, no door gunners either. They dissappear when rearming. And only one loadout is available at reaming, miniguns (flexguns) and rockets (7 shot pods).
  9. After trying and failing multiple times, I have now skipped mission 9. I'm getting shot down by AKs every single time I attack the mortar teams, its like they have radar guidance on those AKs! Rockets dont seem to have much effect unless achieving direct hits, and since I cant see the little guys, hitting them is down to pure luck. Then I'm left with shooting at the origins of their tracers, and getting that close rarely goes well. The only sane thing really, in the face of such sharpshooters, would be to call in artillery. Would it be possible to maybe tune down their accuracy a bit? Speaking from personal experience, it's really really hard to hit aerial targets, even when they are not manuevering much. (or stuff is exploding around your ears)
  10. Yeah, or go try rescue refugees from a ship in a rainstorm, in the Lebanon Peacekeeper campaign. Next to impossible with the poor visibility caused by non working wipers.
  11. I would absolutely pay good money for a new refreshed UH-1 v 2.0. It's my most flown module by far, but it is getting a bit tired compared to the newer modules. Oh, and can we have some working wipers, pretty please?!
  12. Oh, forgot to say, I had to try 4 times before I managed to land. There is something seriously wrong with those containers, as they simply rip off the skids, and toss the Helo around for no good reason. It's a bit of an immersion breaker and a real shame, as the mission is well thought out. If it was possible to take on the refugees from a low steady hover, that could mitigate the ED killer containers a bit, I think.
  13. After the explosion, and after you're getting called in for pickup of the wounded. I overflew the stricken vehicle, to decide where to land, and that's when the wounded started to get loaded.
  14. When I overflew the IED site at around 100 Ft, the wounded started getting loaded aboard. That is to say, I never had to land, or even hover, to take the casualties aboard.
  15. I just wish the damn wipers would actually do something. Had to turn off waterdrops, or I simply didn't have enough visual references to make the landing (VR). The old Huey is long overdue a serious refresh by now. Nice mission though!
