Ok, so balance should NOT be a consideration at all when it comes to how the aircraft are modelled. If the aircraft did not have NVGs used, then it should not have them. My understanding is that the Su-25T is primarily a daytime attack aircraft, however the mercury LLTV pod could be used at dawn/dusk. The fighters you can fly perfectly well without NVGs as all the ones listed have radar (and some EO). You don't need to fly low level at all times, and if you do you can do so by navigating the good ol' way. As Harlikwin mentioned, check terrain features and base your flight plan off that. If it's too dark for you to see, fly off instruments. It's not impossible, and with some practice you can make use of illumination rockets and bombs in order to hit a target even in pitch blackness. As I said before, the modules should not be modelled with multiplayer balance as a consideration. They should be as accurate as possible, since that's what many of us play DCS for, and what it's sold as.

Hummingbird, how do you know how it works if even actual pilots don't use it? Why don't we ask the real world operators how many people they know who have actually used the paddle switch? I wish I had your omniscient powers oh ancient one...

Yeah, that's what I was trying to test. Unfortunately the bomb does despawn on impact and doesn't even explode in place.

The SC-500 is consistently despawning when I attempt to skip bomb using the delayed (MV) fuze for level bombing. Release parameters were as follows: Altitude - 6ft MSL, airspeed - 625 kph TAS, pitch roughly -1 degree. Fw-190 Bomb Skip Fail.trk

This would be very cool to see in game. Morkva 55 was/is working on an Su-24M mod as well that looks fantastic, but I'm not sure if it's still WIP or released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSKAJNjHjLQ

At times when flying the L-39C or ZA, the audio from the engines and various cockpit noises will "duplicate" with a very slight delay as if I'm hearing the audio from both the front and back cockpits at once. (including engine audio) I have not been able to get a track as this issue comes and goes seemingly at random.

Starting as of yesterday, there have been multiple instances where everyone dies instantly. Even while starting up in a hangar. This sort of thing has occurred in the past in other servers, and in at least one situation was caused by a player instantly teleporting to the location of every object/aircraft and "crashing" into them. Track file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7fcsodfl8hzwqhb/Operation_Urban_Thunder_V1.5.3-20190402-124331.trk?dl=0 Are there any known fixes or ways to prevent this?

Does anyone have a download link for the mod and it's update? The links provided in the original post are no longer valid. Just error 404 and file not found messages.

The issue I have with night lighting is that when in an external view things seem to appear properly. However, once in-cockpit, entire cities stop rendering, and the terrain is much darker. It's as if someone "turned out the lights" as can be seen here: https://imgur.com/a/IIYVMo0 The taxi/landing lights are also pretty much invisible in the second situation, which is noticeable in more modules than just the Su-25T. If it wasn't for this difference, the night lighting would be significantly better.

The RWR is unable to detect the aim-120 at all in testing. It also has a blind spot roughly equal to the width of the flight path velocity symbol on the HUD, dead center. When facing a hostile aircraft you cannot detect their radar signals currently. See attached tracks. (dropbox link as normal method seems to be broken) https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wdf841pe6ztqa5h/AABg_n2JZzxIW5a5h8ungwwRa?dl=0

When entering the Bandar Abbas rail tunnel, when attempting to land you will bounce/be forced upward into the ceiling where you will either explode or be ejected through the mountain. If you attempt to fly through the tunnel instead, in the AJS-37 you will reach a point where control inputs do nothing and you are forced through the ceiling, and in the F-5E you will be forced through the ceiling and consistently ejected through the mountain into the sky. Track files are also included in the following link. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5x1p3u7p9x4kpui/AACEOjdZP1iOEFhk_yRqB5xqa?dl=0 AJS-37 Viggen PG Tunnel Control Bug 2.trk F-5E PG Tunnel Ejection 1.trk F-5E PG Tunnel Ejection 2.trk

As can be seen in this track, once entering the tunnel, the road ceases to act as a road, and aircraft sink in to the road/bounce/get stuck. Tunnel Issues.trk

Is there a plan to return the Viggen shirts to your store? I asked a while ago and was told they'd be out soon, but I'm assuming the F-14 pushed that aside temporarily. Thank you!

The game has a tendency to crash to desktop without an error message when Jester STT locks a hostile aircraft. (Within 0.5s of the lock being acquired and symbology appearing on the HUD) Currently 30-40% of lock attempts lead to a crash for me. The last 7 lines of the log are as follows. 2019-03-15 22:03:01.047 INFO EDTERRAINGRAPHICS41: forestDistanceFactor has been changed to 1.000000. Jester's audio seems to be independent of all current audio sliders, which is good, however there is no option to set his audio level aside from getting in game and scrambling for the ICS audio knob, which isn't always an option in tutorials or instant action missions before he speaks. His audio is painfully loud by default, so could we have an option to change his audio level under the "Special" tab in the menu?

When firing the AIM-7 Sparrow in STT, the missile will sometimes (~40% of the time so far) fail to guide despite maintaining lock. The problem is inconsistent, and when watching a replay back it will alternate between guiding and failing to guide. (Not due to replay corruption, as the replay was backed up and replaced in between each play-through) The attached track file is what I was using in order to test this. It occurs both in multiplayer and singleplayer. https://www.dropbox.com/s/63tk8nw13vcj6iy/F-14%20Mig-21%20Merge2.trk?dl=0

Ok, thank you.

Is this new method available for all future releases (for the foreseeable future at least), or is it only available for modules released at the time of the announcement? For example, if I pre-order the F-14 on steam, or buy the CE-2, will I be able to immediately transfer it to standalone after linking my account?

Fixed with the EFM!

Absolutely fantastic job. Had a ton of fun throwing it around doing stalls, spins, inverted stalls and spins, tail slides, and knife flight. Didn't have an issue once. Takeoff had me worried, since I didn't think I had enough runway, but once airborne it just wanted to fly no matter what I threw at it. Airbrake behavior took a little bit of trial and error to get used to. (Hold for 1/4-1/2 second to deploy) Incredibly stable in the landing configuration where stalling was smooth and without issue, as the nose would gradually drop with full aft stick applied until airspeed increased.

Ok, thank you for answering.

Thank you for the help! It's much appreciated.
