  1. Hi Groove, I should take back my statement about not getting any feedback in here, thanks. I bought the English DL version. I will try and record the crash details next time and hopefully that will help out.
  2. ...and moved into the forum where nobody will ever see it or respond.
  3. I installed BS not too long ago, and some strange things have been happening since. At first I gave it the benefit of a doubt and assumed it was an isolated issue, but my mind is starting to change. My computer (fairly new install of Vista Home Premium 32 bit on a couple month old machine) was functioning without problem until a day after installing BS. I got a random blue screen/fatal error (was not in the program at the time). The computer then restarted its self, asked me if I wanted to use safe mode when it was booting back up, etc etc. Then, it happened again the next morning - I didn't see it this time, but my computer (which I normally leave on) had lost everything that was open and was at the login screen as if it had restarted. Several applications reported an unexpected shutdown when I reopened them. This has happened about 5 times now, usually while the computer is idle (screen off, but not it standby). Any ideas? I'd hate to have to wipe the OS..
  4. Rotor blades and props are balanced to ensure a minimal amount of vibration during operation. The cockpit wouldn't vibrate any more when starting than during normal operation unless the rotor spins through the airframe's resonant range during startup. As for vibration in general, you tend to notice it more through sound and physical sensation, than you do visually, if you are on/within the vibrating object (your vision doesn't become distorted, your eyes tend to fixate on a position in space and maintain that fixation despite your motion - visual damping).
  5. Intead of rebooting, try hitting esc, then click the cancel button right afterward. You should get the pointer+camera back. A tip I picked up in another thread. Happy flying. PS: There probably should be a proper way to do this, I might be missing it. Also, anyone notice the cockpit/engine noise changes based on whether the mouse is linked to the camera or not? Wacky.
  6. McVittees solution for the cursor/view works for me, I had been wondering also. One thing that is a bit irritating is the way the cursor becomes uncentered when you look far left or right, requiring you to look the oposite way to recenter it. I'm probably missing something though, so let me know if I am!
