  1. Hi there, How to add things like 'Turn Rate' to the box that displays in the main window next to the aircraft? I've tried everything I can think of, but can't add any additional parameters. Many thanks
  2. Okay - I don't think it's the Viggen - I'm now seeing the same issues in the Mirage. I'm going to clean my installation and make sure there's nothing odd with that, but I think this is a wider problem.
  3. Yes - exactly. When did you notice this behaviour start?
  4. ...Also I note that moving the trim hat forward (trim nose down) moves the control stick backwards, which I think is the opposite of what should happen. Same with trim nose up. Left and right are okay.
  5. Hi there, I haven't flown the Viggen for several months, and when flying it today all the fine control from the stick seems to have gone. Flying low level is impossible now - I can move the stick smoothly in little increments and nothing happens and then suddenly all the inputs go in and the aircraft moves really abruptly. The stick in the cockpit reflects this too - nothing then suddenly everything - the aircraft is just thrashing around. :( Are other peeps seeing this too - or do I need to alter something in my configuration? Cheers, Fin.
  6. Hello, Thank you for your reply - that was very helpful. By 'switching off' some other mods in the installed modules page (F22, DC3 and A4) everything is now working correctly. I'm not sure what is causing the crash, but it seems like there is a conflict between the mods somewhere. Anyway - all working now, so no problem! Thank you again for your help and for making such a wonderful module - it's great fun to fly! kind regards, Fin.
  7. Hello, I'm having a problem with this module crashing DCS. The crash log includes the following errors: 2019-07-26 21:11:41.593 ERROR EDCORE: Can't open file: /models/cockpit_mb-339pan.edm.ilv. 2019-07-26 21:11:41.593 ERROR VISUALIZER: ILV for cockpit 'cockpit_MB-339PAN' not found Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thank you!
  8. So a quick workaround to fix the 'magic select' button dropping the visor and making everything dim: if while still on the ground you get your crew chief to load the NVG, then later when flying and you do 'magic select' you get the magic, with no visor drop - the NVG doesn't seem to work yet, so you just get the magic selected and nothing else. Hopefully this will be fixed properly soon. Cheers and bon vol.
  9. Not a big issue, but thought you'd like to know: Have mapped HUD brightness up and down to HOTAS buttons, but these have no effect. Oddly, scrolling the HUD brightness wheel in the cockpit works fine. Also - when will the covered switch bug (switches can be moved without opening the cover first) be fixed? I almost jettisoned my 530's as that switch can be accidentally selected despite the cover still being closed. Not urgent, but annoying. Cheers, Finbarr.
  10. To fix the animation speed, at the top of the clickabledata.lua file (line 16), you'll find a value: anim_speed_default = 5.0 if you change this value from 5 to 15, things will be more life like.
  11. Note that with this new lua file, switch animations are incredibly slow! If you prefer them to be a bit more life-like, at the top of the file (line 16), you'll find a value: anim_speed_default = 5.0 if you change this value to 15 from 5, things will be a bit snappier. :D Also note that with this update it's now possible to change covered switch positions without first opening the cover :(
  12. Hi there, I love the extra detail in the new pilot model for the M2000 - just noticed after a ground ejection, standing next to the seat that the pilots green visor remains attached to the seat rather than the pilots helmet - looks a little odd. Merry Christmas all and keep up the great work!
  13. And fixed for me too - well done dev team - much appreciated!
  14. All fixed for me - I had the issue with both the 1080 screen res to ensure lower screen options could be clicked with the mouse, and also the problem with the corrupt mouse cursor when at anything more than 100% screen scaling. Both issues have now been resolved, although oddly, at 100% screen scaling, the mouse cursor corruption returns - however on a 4k monitor, I usually run it at 150%, so this isn't a problem. Nice work and thank you to the devs for getting this sorted - very much appreciated!
  15. Yes - it will cause you problems, although from what I've seen a few servers are rolling back too. - It was just a suggestion to sort the issue out as it seems for many people DCS is simply unplayable. In answer to the follow on question: No 1.3
  16. Ah, that's really interesting - I too have a 4k monitor and see this problem. It's not a show-stopper, but as others have said - it is annoying. How to report this and get it fixed?
  17. Best fix is to roll back to version 2.5.2.20601, using the DCS Updater. From the command line: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS_Updater.exe update 2.5.2.20601 I did this and everything is working fine again. Once they fix these issues, run another upgrade as normal. Cheers, JD.

  19. Hi there, I'm a VR user and constantly find I'm losing track of time when playing - it would be cool if I could have the cockpit clock show the real world time so I don't have to keep jumping out or pausing to see what the time it really is. I had a go at setting mission start time in mission editor, but it seems to keep defaulting to 08:00 regardless of what I do. In the M2000C, I don't seem to be able to alter the clock in the cockpit in flight either. Any thoughts about how to solve this would be helpful - thanks! Fin. [edit] Okay - I figured it out. By editing the 'Mission Briefing', you can set a mission start time, simply sync that with real time (or offset by 12 hours if playing at night and you want to fly in daylight). Job done.
