  1. I had a pair of eDimensional 3D LCD shutter glasses back about a year ago. I ended up returning them, but wouldn't dismiss this technology at all, especially if any of these products are really good at what they do. The particular glasses I had were recommended for use with CRT monitors and nVidia cards/drivers (not sure nVidia supports them anymore). I had an LCD monitor and an ATI card so I had to use their "universal" drivers. Basically, this was enough to show off the enormous potentail of the glasses, but every game I tried ended up having some serious quirk that led to me ultimately getting rid of them. On the other hand, playing games like Oblivion, Lock-On, and a few others introduced a 3D immersion that to this day I really, really miss having (if only the games were actually playable!).
  2. Just a quick note--in case it hasn't been mentioned here (maybe it has, but I haven't looked at all 22 pages). I am running Vista x64 and found that editing options.lua in C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\BlackShark\data\scripts\ was doing absolutely nothing. Then it dawned on me that I had UAC turned on. In this case, editable scripts (such as options.lua) get installed to a mirrored, hidden, virtual folder located here C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\BlackShark\data\scripts Only by editing the options.lua file here will the changes be effective. (Note that the individual monitor lua files are still located in the main folder.) Dave
