Tips for people replaying the SAR series before DCS-Huey Comes out. 1. Instead of using the short cut key commands just use the TAB menu. Not all items from the menu are mapped as shortcut keys... etc (Deploy Cargo) 2. If you deploy a sling and then a medic and you lower him to the ground but he doesn't get off the cable... bring the cable back up, lower altitude and change landing spot. He will get off then. 3. To start chopper Turn on Both Engines E + T then hit E+T again to engage the Rotors 4. Watch your vertical velocity indicator and collective closely. 5. Playing with keyboard is ok if you don't have a joystick, but beware sometimes when u hit down on the collective it doesn't always budge. 6. Pray for Release date of Huey by June!

When I first played this whole game through I did it all on one engine first time around! I only now discovered the "T" key lol! It's so much easier! Manne this sim though old is well worth it! Just don't listen to the reviews out there. When the game came out it had a few main bugs but they were fixed with a patch after the game came out! Yes the sounds just like any sim, if you find annoying u can turn down the sound. Most of the Time i find the A10&Ka-50 sounds are annoying enough to turn down... Either way you will enjoy the variety of missions its an excellent Sim! I played this game for hours and hours! Correction will run on Windows 7 64bit. I have the cd somewhere I'll test it an let u know. TESTED and Comfirmed:) Just install to a C:\Directory ... Do not install game to Program files (x86) Rescue Med+Evac! Still works great. You will see it works great. Check it out theres a copy of this on amazon for $4.48! If they had it on steam that would be amazing! Anyway Other wise wait till later. This sim had very good mechanics and tons of good features, even time compression! So you could fly faster if you wanted!:joystick: Tons of fun an challenging. Good flight model Lets not say perfectly acturate but very fun and challenging. Oh an When u hit a tree the sim let you know! It was an excellent sim. Anyway happy trails. I'm so excited about this Simulator! I loved the good old days of Search&Rescue Medevac! This looks like it will be even Cooler! Anyone else remember those fun missions trying to rescue downed pilots and get shot at by squads of guys... Taking forever lowering the basket and trying to not get screwed by the cross wind? Head back an try to land on an aircraft carrier and crash! or Landing pad was between some trees and one little mistake an its all a waste! Oh MAN that was fun! I still have the cd somewhere with dated graphics but still a really decent flight model comparable to Longbow 2 maybe even better flight model... sim none the less. Need the patch to fix the bugs that were present in the original. Obviously nothing close to this, still cant wait... Did any of the developers of DCS-Huey play SAR-medevac? Anyway Looking forward to Pre-Order of DCS-Huey! Go Belsimtek!

Is it possible to host a SERVER with DCS-World and have A10's Join In Slots? or must the server have A10 key to host those slots or how does it work?

I made a simple helpful video on the simplest ways to Setup your multiple monitors/MFD screens using a simple free program. You don't need an ipad or to even use Hawgtouch to utilize it to help setup monitors an gauges to the perfect size u want. Even if you use Helios which is really nice. The how to video is in my signature HowToVideoHawgTouch Use it for HeliosToo! Skip ahead in the video to about 2:35 seconds That will help you the most. Basically the Long & the Short is. HawgTouch works best for DCSA10 v1.1.1.1 Standalone. But not working correctly for DCSWorld Helios for everything else.

Steam version is not able to be upgraded with BS2 since it does not provide a CD KEY! I thought Only the Standalone version bought an downloaded from ED is able to do that. Your in still in luck its on sale right now from ED site. BTW you were right the Steam version of A10 is able to upgrade since it does provide a CD Key. You have to buy BS 1 from ED website since you already purchased the upgrade. Word to the WISE always READ the STEAM FORUMS EVERY TIME BEFORE YOU BUY A GAME! I do it religiously to make sure it doesn't have problems with activation of upgrades or other kinds of EXTRA DMR or compatibility with your hardware. That issue with the SST drivers is a LONG!!! standing known issue. It has to do with ATI Catalyst drivers messing with Siatek Drivers... Read the saitek forums

What you mean Peter is you get that you get no degrade in performance with your hardware, others have slower hardware so the transition to 1.2.1 is more severe for others. So no need to say theres not reason not to upgrade. Anyway what are your hardware specs Peter I don't see yours posted, CPU, Mobo, Ram, Harddrive...etc. Which micro patches are you referring to?

So Mower what kind of system are you running? I've been running X52 now for a while it was good for the shark but i've always had problems with the software freezing my computer untill i disconnect the joystick from USB ever had that problem? I was running ATI card So i still have that software installed even though now i have Nvidia GTX 560Ti now. The SST software apparently has problems with ATI Catalyst drivers I might have to reinstall windows anyway to see it fixed, anyway ever had that problem with the software?

Saitek X65F vs Thrustmaster Warthog? Pros VS Cons. I've heard alot about these sticks I've seen alot about both of these sticks they both look good. Trying to decide which to buy. The X65F seems to be a good choice I say that since I've heard alot about Warthog sticks having bad centers and requiring to re-grease everything for full benefit, plus cost ratio. Anyone with Pros and Cons... Thrustmaster Warthog Pros _____ Having all Buttons No compromising Layouts Extra Switches on Throttle Quad Good Software Cons ______ Cost ($455) Having to Take apart and Re-grease everything Too much wiggle room in center Saitek X65F Pros ______ Force Sensing Not having to take apart Cost (Still $300) not that much of a pro Heard Nothing but good reviews on it. 4 Profiles for different layouts for landing and combat and such. Does the A10C have a function to Auto Arm Airbrakes when you land. Eg. You just touchdown on the runway during a landing and the air brakes deploy automatically.
