Thank You! Very helpful. I downloaded your mission and have basic understanding but little experience. With your Chuck mission there are already triggers for the Allies and Ger They say "Add Radio Item" do I ignore these? or were they placed to pre-setup flags for radio station or something else completely. Its a little confusing since Your How to create a WWII Radio Station PDF seems to create new triggers should I follow the guide and ignore those other flags? Which step do jump to for this according to your guide? Thanks for any help in advance. Could you include the FW190-D Frequency range in your PDF? I believe its the FuG16 The set operates in the frequency range between 38.4 and 42.4 MHz is this correct?

Chuck's DCS WWII MP Training Mission
thinkr replied to Charly_Owl's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
Thanks Chuck this is great. Would you have a version of this mission with the Music Radio Station implemented already? I would love to try this out with the 2min wait time size mentioned in your tutorial with any music you have already loaded:) -

thinkr replied to Sgt_Baker's topic in DCS Modding
Great work SgtBaker! Alot of people are looking forward to your mod! mean while we wait for the updates for other modules any chance on Icemaker fixing the Easy Monitor Configurator since it works for more modules while this mod is still in beta. Alot of people are looking since it is still a very useful tool with other modules. Your configurator probably won't be broken when EDGE engine (fingers crossed) comes out... Could we at least have an official fix for 1.2.8 compatibility plz? Many people are still appreciate your wonderful work! -
thank you very nice indeed rep inbound! Just a reminder placing the edited file into C:\Users\[Your User Name]\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\MiG-21Bis\mouse Would be better since DCS will overwrite the folder you mentioned during updates and would remove the mod. For those not wanting to download a file: -- ------------------ Original mapping (Commmented out) ------------------------ --{combos = {{key = 'MOUSE_BTN3'}}, down = iCommandViewTransposeModeOn, up = iCommandViewTransposeModeOff, name = 'Camera transpose mode (press and hold)',category='Views'}, -- ------------------ New mapping (Replaces Camera transpose mode (press and hold) and appear under General section even if category= Views below. -- ------------------ Don't change {combos = {{key = 'MOUSE_BTN3'}}, down = iCommandCockpitClickModeOnOff, name = 'Mouse cursor cockpit mode',category='Views'}, -- -------------------End of changes ---------------------------------------------

Easy Monitor Problems since patch update
thinkr replied to IADC's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
It is broken since patch This is because the Folder Path change in DCS From Aircrafts to aircraft If you read the comments on the download page from user files here you will see this comment. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/270123/?PAGEN_2=2 Madog43, 24.12.2013 16:10:14 To fix missing configuration tabs: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1954385&postcount=302 I believe the official thread is this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=70716&highlight=Easy+monitor+config ======================================== (Update) Hopefully Icemaker will grace us with an update. For now most people look forward to. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=125728 Forum Search tools are your friends :P -
thx guys found it. I Still hope Leatherneck Simulations will change it so we can have it use the same name for future reference. There's enough cockpit controls we need to memorize that would be nice to at least have them named the same thing even if its not bound to the same key.

I have spend literally almost an hour searching for this feature within Mig21bis. It would be nice if we could keep the naming conventions of DCS the same since "Clickable Mouse Cockpit Mode On/Off" is uniform with the other modules does Mig have to be different? Please help this would help poor fellows like me searching for a feature through all of the list. Can someone tell me what this "Clickable Mouse Cockpit Mode On/Off" is called in Mig21bis? Normally in other modules its mapped to [LAlt+C] The only thing I could find was "Camera transpose mode (Press and hold)" Though it does not let me map this function to joystick:joystick: Can we change this in Mig21bis in a future update and keep the naming conventions the same plz?

Sounds like HungaroJET's is dedicated to modding and DCS world. Has he spoken with ED on account of getting hired full time? I feel it would be a great moral booster to all the supporters of DCS to know that dedicated modders are valued not only in the community but to this great sim! If Hungaro has created a whole new DCS world with updates has he also compiled a list of bugs and submitted them along with solutions to the dcs bug forum? I personally would love to see him hired on the ED even as an independent if that possible especially if he has shown his dedication and skillful craft in DCS along with helping the community.

UH-60 Blackhawk in DCS world? Is anyone making a model for Uh-60 Black Hawk in DCS? Cinch thats incredible! Is there a version of the UH-60 that is unclassified yet that would make this possible? Interesting Read and Pictures...:smartass: http://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/uh-60.htm#black Another Read about FLIR System here... REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala., 16 May 2013. U.S. Army helicopter avionics experts needed a multi-sensor payload for the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk utility helicopter. They found their solution from FLIR Systems Inc. in Wilsonville, Ore. The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Ala., awarded FLIR Systems a potential $82.4 million contract Tuesday for at least 66, and as many as 218, of the company's Talon forward-looking infrared (FLIR) multi-sensor electro-optics systems for the Black Hawk helicopter. The UH-60 Black Hawk is a four-bladed, twin-engine, medium-lift utility helicopter designed to perform a variety of missions, ranging from tactical transport, electronic warfare, and special operations. The FLIR Systems Talon sensor payload can operate no only on the UH-60 helicopter, but also on a variety of fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, ships, small boats, and land vehicles. It comes in a lightweight, gyro-stabilized 9-inch turret that contains as may as six separate sensors with digital video. Its sensors include infrared sensor, color CCD camera, low-light camera, laser pointer or laser illuminator, laser range finder, and inertial measurement unit. Imagers include a continuous-zoom 640-by-480-pixel infrared camera and two electro-optical options -- color camera and combination color and low-light camera for high-resolution imagery during the day or at night. The sensor provides extreme low-light capability in sub-quarter moon conditions; it works in zero ambient light conditions together with a laser illuminator. The Talon sensor system also supports range-to-target, target geolocation, and GeoLock capability, and works with the UH-60's onboard navigation systems. The sensor payload helps UH-60 crews identify targets using night-vision devices while remaining invisible to others. Applications for the Talon sensor system include surveillance; reconnaissance; target acquisition and tracking; force protection; search and rescue; pursuit and patrol; drug interdiction; mine detection; and environmental monitoring. For more information contact FLIR Systems online at www.flir.com, or the Army Contracting Command Redstone at www.acc.army.mil/contractingcenters/acc-rsa.

If there was one it would be inside C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\F-86\Doc "Folder" I think Belsimtek is still working on it. I would like to see an interactive training tutorial for the F-86 like the other aircraft too. I just bought it the Sabre and enjoy it although I wish there was a voiced tutorial for it like the other aircraft in Training section. I also bought a copy of FC3 for my second account for my brother to use for Christmas to further support ED:)

This ones been out a while it works with Latest DCS not sure if its more visible. Don't use afterburner if your scared of being visible in the first place. They probably see you on radar first anyway. Afterburner Reworked

agreed suggestion: The terms integrated professional flight model and modular flight model might make more sense to the lamen, though it doesn't make a real difference once you read the explanation.:pilotfly:

"Spring Tension" Campaign - A piece of art !
thinkr replied to WolfK33's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
Use the F-10 map and the Kneeboard. Truely You only need the kneeboard and looking on the terrain. The kneeboard has more than one map to look at. Try using the "[" and "]" keys to switch to the different map sets. The other versions of the same map are there with zoomed in points of the waypoints for you. -
Just curious would it be possible to create a small picture-in-picture of the missile you fire. For example in the upper left corner of the screen of the 3rd person view of the missle you fire? |---------|------------------| | missle | | | View | Main | | 3rd | View | |_Person| Port | | | | | | | _____________________| I remember this in other games would this be easy to script? For example script the launching of a missle to spawn the view port in upper left corner? Is this already in arcade mode?

B17 would be beautiful! Though a more reasonable $50 would do it for me for software though it depends on the level of detail I would buy 2 just to support and have another one on my other account for a friend:thumbup::pilotfly:
