  1. About how many copies of BS have sold so far? Just wondering what the market for sims looks like both worldwide and in the US. Keep up the great work.
  2. What worked for me was learning how to hover, and practice, first. Once in a hover ill make sure all my autopilot channels are armed and engage auto hover. Always works. The catch here is once you get used to hovering than the need to autohover becomes useless unless your gonna be sitting somewhere for awhile (i.e. beer run). I stopped using it altogether b/c the time it takes to settle into and get out of it has little combat application if there are potential shooters in the area IMO.
  3. Well a lot also depends on if your talking flight sim or combat sim. Theres gonna be some compromise. Without a doubt DCS BS is the supreme rotary wing sim on the market, by far.
  4. Thank you. I love this community.
  5. Landing Lights and Voice Warning Panel -Yes. MWL is master warning light. If you have multiple messages EKRAN will prioritize and give you the most important. To view other messages press the MWL. Also: -Behind your cyclic -Second button from right is to replay all active EKRAN messages. Switch to the right is to play voice warnings twice.
  6. Jump on a multiplayer server. I usually hang out around at the 159th Dedicated as well as their teamspeak server. Teamspeak is a must, if you catch someone on that knows what their doing its a great way to learn. If you see me hit me up.
  7. Yea, I tried the S-8TsM's out. They work great. Gonna have to get some server map makers to add in a FAC-A bird. Still curious though if there is a way to alter the loadout options while on the ramp.
  8. Does anyone know if it is possible to alter the payload options in the ground comm menu?
  9. Roger, thanks. I wonder if there is a way to customize the comm window loadouts. Experiment time.
  10. Yea, I love using them too. But most rotary wing, and fixed wing, CAS aircraft can equip with some sort of launchable marking device. So far on MP ive run into scenarios several times were we will pop up over a hill and theres the SAM already launching. To have a rocket to mark with for follow on strikes would come in handy.
  11. Keeping this out of the DCS wishlist. But I would love some "marking" rockets, willy pete, smoke, etc. Something to use in MP when you dont have time to data link and need to put a mark on tgt. I hate when making a gun run in a built up area and when coming in for a second run I cant find the tgt. Im sure the Ka-50 has something of this sort in its weapons inventory. Anbody got intel on this?
