    Which one??

So I mainly fly F18 and A10C. I currently have a TM warthog which I have had for almost 10 years and is starting to play up. which throttle would you all recommend.... Orion 2 or Super Taurus?
  2. So recently i have been having some issues with my WH throttle. During a flight, out of nowhere all the buttons on the right throttle stop working. i.e speed break, boat switch, china hat etc. All other buttons on the throttle work perfectly. When i go into the controls page all the buttons are mapped correctly. They just don't respond when pressed. But after about 60-90 secs they all start working again. I have not been able to work out why. The only thing different is a new HP Reverb G2 I use now. Any clues?
  3. Love the grip/throttle. But that was the most annoying video clip I have watched.
  4. Great review I also own the Rift S and love the VR side of gaming. I got the Rift because I want to test the waters with VR gaming before i spend more money on better equipment. Im going to wait for the Reverb G2 to be released and then upgrade/ Cant wait.
  5. I agree with everything you said. I have been trackir for years and a few months ago I got a rift s and rtx 2080 ti. And I must say it was amazing immersion and felt like I was really in the plane. But I also found it awkward to use keyboard and click buttons on my warthog throttle. I found using voice attack didn't work that well, probably my Australian accent, and didn't like the fact that I had to talk out load to my pc. Lol Reading and zoom was the big disappointment for me in vr. Im in two minds now about trackir and vr. I use trackir when I'm learning in the f18 because I find it easier to find buttons and watch a YouTube video at the same time. I think vr still has some issues that needs fixed in dcs and in general. Can't wait to see what next generation of vr comes out soon.
  6. Hello fellow virtual pilots. My new T-50CM2 base will be arriving in the next few days. I currently have a warthog stock with 10cm extension. The issue I had with this base over time was it was getting a little sticky (yes I know how to fix that but could not be bothered) and the other issue i didn't like was the "THUD" when it hit the centre position. It felt like i was fighting to get the stick out of the centre position all the time. Now my question for all of you reading this... What cams and springs are you all using in the T-CM2 base and why? I was thinking of running the AviaSim - No Center cams first up. Thoughts and comments?
  7. This is the biggest thing the annoys me while flying as well. Trying to click on a button and keeping your head pefectly still. i hope someone can answer this soon
  8. interesting about it not showing any more movment beyond the idle stopper/guard. More testing required. i just realised that i have been miss spelling idle. me good fighter pilot me am
  9. Yes i have seen that video. My AB detent is flipped and works perfectly. I was more talking about cutting off the idel cut off detent so there is no physical stop when pulling back on the throttle., thus increasing the total travel of the throttles. This would require the engine cut off button be reasigned to somewher else. But this wouild be a permenant MOD. But like I said in my original post, how many times do you use engine cut of vs AB. Anyway, where is my grinder :-D
  10. Hi just a quick question / suggestion. After you flip the afterburn detent over so your throttles stop before going into AB, you shorten the distance the throttles have to travel before getting to 100% Do you not loose accuracy with this? Would it not be better to remove the idel detent as well so you regain the same travel distance for your throttles and just map engin start/cutoff to another button on your thottle? I mean how many times in a game do you use AB detent vs idel detent cutoff? Has anyone looked into or thought of doing this?
