Yes it is. Also need a good Photoshop or similar program. I bought my first Max 1200$ than upgrade to Max 2008 for another 1100$. The PS CS4 was 820$. The PC upgrade was another 900$ and so on... So basically the mod making in general a bit cost related. These things never belong only the learning and knowledge.

Nothing. It's a common DCS:World issue if you run your model outside from the default Shape folder. -
Generally the model making is not different with 3DS Max for DCS than other games. Only the ED model exporter plugin, and texture settings are different. If you familiar with the 3D model making you will able to create and export your model in DCS if not you need to take some basic courses with 3D Max. The existing game object can't be modified with 3DS Max due no EDM import plugin is exist.

Unfortunately no trailer function animation exist and support in DCS series. So I try to simulate some trailer rotation that based on the main truck wheel rotation. About Scud: Did you read the readme.txt carefully? "- The vehicle worked only as unarmed vehicle (e.g can't capable to fire missile) due the Scud missile simulation doesn't work in DCS:World" -

Yes both 32 and 64 bit users can be use. The lower FPS is mostly belong your GPU and RAM config. -
Nobody can provide you a full tutorial. A lot of people who created mods also didn't have any tutorial. Also available a general FAQ by luckybob9. Try it and learn it. If you have a question I try to help you.

The new models only replace the existing Kub launcher, Kub radar, Smerch MLRS models. All other show as a brand new models so doesn't overwrite the other already existing ones. I don't know how it's work in MP or how should work in the future in MP due the DCS:World is under development as you know. -

These models should cause some FPS loss during usage even they have a multiple LOD and reduced textures as well. Basically the "cargo" never supported by the program. The helicopter landing issue was belong the missing or wrong ship collision model. Anyway the "universal ground" point is a good idea. But the implementation shouldn't be easy due this should be use a different class of vehicles..

I tried it. It's worse than previously. The vehicle doesn't use trailer bounding box if it's static. I tried with normal vehicle that I put it into same group as MAZ, different group and static. None of them are working. :-(

Unfortunately it doesn't work so far. When the MAZ start the armor on the trailers doesn't follow it.

Yes. All new and my previous model will have at least two different seasonal or different camo texture. Unfortunately the trailer transport vehicle is "fix" so it won't changeable.

Sorry I have no FC2 installed at the moment so I don't able to figure out what's wrong with it. But after FC2 Patch 1.2.1 should need other files modify because my basic mod work with basic FC2 as well.

Sorry not possible. The new 3DMax plugins doesn't support the "old" lom format. Also the model inside structure and textures assignment and definitions is different

The Maz-537 and Maz-543 is finished just need some final test. Meanwhile I start to rework my old Kraz-255 models as well.

Yes. As Boberro said it doesn't work so far due some restriction.

Thanks. The basic model and their texture almost done. Now I start testing with basic model than apply further features.

I already start to update all of them. The UB-32, UB-16 is finished the other is wip. I'll post some screens about it soon.
