  1. I spent way too long cruising around after killing everything thinking can the TARPS aircraft hurry up their business, I'm about to hit bingo fuel. Cycled through F2 cameras and saw the stupid TARPS glitched out on his takeoff. I got something out of it and learnt I could comfortably sit at 2000lb/h fuel burn giving massive range. Thanks for V1.4 addressing the issue.
  2. I like to keep the burner on until reaching 350kias, then climbing at that speed in mil power until 0.9 mach then maintain 0.9 mach to cruising altitude. Depending on payload I might stay in minimum burner until cruising altitude.
  3. I've gotten to 9.9G's by the paddle switch going 400-500something knots. Real hornet pilots would only use in for emergency's such as not smacking into the earth, dogfighting or maybe to get out of the way from a missile.
  4. Looking forward to the fix. I can't complete the Trench Run Reactor Strike Mission without a CTD. After four attempts, DCS always crashes after bombing the reactor and getting away from the pissed off MiG-23's. (Heatblur F-14)
  5. The tomcat doesn't have anywhere near the fly-by-wire level of technology the hornet has. It doesn't auto maintain 1G flight like the hornet can. The cat has very big elevons which are as large as the wings of an A4 Skyhawk, which mean trim inputs are very sensitive/effective. Don't chase your verticle speed indicator either. Use DLC when landing.
  6. Multiplayer load times are minutes long. Intel i7 8700K, NVIDIA GTX1060 6Gb, 16Gb 2400MHz RAM, ASUS Z-370F MOBO, DCS is installed on a Samsung SSD and Windows installed on a dedicated SSD. An additional HDD for mass storage. Single player load times are ok, within 30s. I had to increase my Windows page file to 20Gb - 24Gb to not crash in multiplayer when trying to get in the F-14...it would also completely bamboozle my PC and was forced to hold down the power button. Super bad experience which felt borderline malware.
  7. While chipping away at an IL-76 with guns, a piece of plane falls off. Jester: Ooh a piece of candy! That made me laugh!
  8. Single engine operation. Lots of drag on one side of the aircraft due to weapon stores or battle damage.
